- Sam (10/5): - Felt like luxury!
- Roland (9/5): Schöne Japanische Wohnung in guter Lage - Schöne japanische Wohnung auf zwei Ebenen. Gute Lage 10 min zur U Bahn, eine Station zu Kyoto Bahnhof. Gute Wohnung für 4 Personen.
- Michał (10/5): -
- maria (9/5): - Location, big house
- Brianna (8/5): Well maintained traditional Japanese house run of an excellent team - It’s a pretty old traditional Japanese house which is an experience if that’s what you’re looking for. However it’s very well maintained and the management has definitely put a lot of care to it. The rooms are large for Japanese standard. Sofa bed is also very comfortable. Shower is quite small but super clean and easy to use. A fantastic management team. Super attentive. The only inconvenience are the stairs which are very steep for older people. The lock is also quite old and could be difficult to lock and unlock.

- Amy (10/5): Lovely typical-style Kyoto house in a quiet neighborhood, close to shops, parks and public transit - This property appears to be a relatively new structure, built in a traditional Kyoto style. It was very fun to stay in a neighborhood, in a house, with traditional Japanese architecture and lovely art. It was also fairly spacious, with 2 bedrooms upstairs and a living room and kitchen downstairs. The kitchen was well stocked, and essentials were provided. We liked the surrounding neighborhood, which has markets and great restaurants. Lovely place! The house was a little further from the nearest subway station that we thought. Not a big deal except that we were there during a heatwave. So we ended up taking Uber rides more than we had planned. The house is tucked back, off the side street that runs by it - so it's nice & quiet, but might be a bit tricky to locate if one arrives after dark.
- Federico P. (9/5): - Bellissimo appartamento caratteristico. Molto grande considerando gli standard nipponici, bella la presenza di due piccoli giardini. Le camere molto spaziose. Parecchio lontano dal centro, un po scomodo raggiungere le varie proposte di Kyoto
- Nata (10/5): Exceptional - Clean flat, kitchen supplies available.Quiet neighborhood. Subway is about 15 min walk away. There is also a washing machine and dryer all in one. Steep stairs.
- Ilau (9/5): Nice stay - Nice traditional home, clean, comfortable beds, lot of amenities. Two noce gardens, perfect for summer days. It was a bit cold until without the a/c turned on but during our stay it was very cold outside.
- Ireland (10/5): Exceptional - I really loved the old architecture and setup of this home. It was very spacious for a group of four. The beds are comfy, and the accommodations were easy to figure out. Overall, this was a wonderful home to enjoy during my trip to Kyoto!
- Rebecca (8/5): A very comfortable stay - We loved having a kitchen to cook meals, the beds were comfy and the place was close to 7-11. The bus stop was close too. The stairs from the bedrooms to the toilet and living area were extremely steep and the hand rail was wobbly to use.
- Catherine (8/5): Review - Location
Experience of staying in a tradional property Keys did not work .The lock was old and required a technique to remove the key which we could not master.Staff were supportive on the phone and came the next day to change the key which was bent but we still could not remove the new key from the lock
Taxi could not find the address Steep stairs.
Lighting difficult as controlled remotely rather than switches on the wall.Limited cooking equipment plates and cutlery
- Yu (9/5): Superb -
- Chih-yue (7/5): Good -
- Mwddh (8/5): Nice House but Confusing Location - I love how it incorporates both traditional and modern Japan. The house itself is spacious, cozy and comfortable. It's complete with cooking utensils, heater and washer. The directions given to the place was confusing for abit. It was a small alleyway to get to the house. It gets too dark in that alleyway which can be a bit creepy.
- Stefanie (9/5): Superb -
- Thu (8/5): very good - very traditional house, quiet, very comfortable . great for family the location is a bit far from places
- Stefan (10/5): Exceptional - It’s fully fulfilled our hopes for a perfect Japanese holiday
