• Paul (8/5): - Great location and enjoyable stay. Would stay again. Very light, comfortable and clear room. The host is lovely and very welcoming. The breakfast was disappointing. Some rooms do not have doors to the bathrooms so worth checking.

• Rick (9/5): Small boutique style hotel with creative handmade breakfast. - Central location for exploring. Just minutes walk from the bus, waterfront and bike trails. Quiet back room has no view window but comfortable with large bathtub/ shower. Lots of amenities and snacks. For 3 nights stay, the breakfast was different each morning. Lovely hosts.

• Scott (7/5): Toilet in the room, no door - The big windows in one room. The other room had no windows though, though this made it a lot quieter than the room with windows overlooking the car park. The woman who cooked breakfast was always so friendly and nice. THE TOILET IS IN THE ROOM. there is room for a door, but not a door. There is no privacy. It’s overlooking a car park. It’s super noisy. No cleaning or refreshing the room during your stay. Told us the front desk closed at 5.30pm late morning of the day we were due to arrive.

• Ralitsa (6/5): - The room is lovely, the staff is very friendly and nice, however one thing I believe is super important to note is that the toilet is in a niche in the room (no doors) so if you are not traveling alone keep that in mind. We did not notice this when booking so we were in for some interesting (read awkward) times asking each other to leave the room 😳 Also, the bed was soft and comfortable, but if you are tall be prepared not to fit in length.
• Katrin (9/5): - Super clean, really nice staff, very friendly and accommodating (they held our bags for us in the morning and let us charge our phones after check out in the front lobby). Bath tub and shower were really nice too, very spacious! And the balcony was cute. Hotel is very close to the lake side pier so was good for a walk after dinner. Lots of bike rental shops in the area and really close to the tourist shuttle stop for Shuishe Visitor Center. Note that the front desk closes at 18:00 so it’s important to be there before it closes. The breakfast was quite simple but still appreciated.

The host was so lovely and accommodating, and gave us breakfast tokens to redeem at the 7eleven when we weren't able to make breakfast our second morning due to an early bus. Location was fantastic, super close to bike shops, bike path, the boat and nice restaurants. It was strange having no door on the toilet. Make sure you're super comfortable with whoever you're sharing with because there's no escaping it.

The beds were comfortable but the problem for us was the „ open toilet”The toilet didn’t have walls/ doors so lying in the bed you could watch someone using it. There was chemical smell in the room. Tip-Rooms with windows are facing parking lot. Rooms without windows are much more quiet.

Cute little table with floor level chairs for relaxing with a cup of tea. Lovely little balcony. View over the car park but there are trees so it was fine. Big spa bath was a hit!

• Hui Ting (9/5): A comfortable stay with a great bathroom and location, though a few drawbacks affected the experience. - Great location near restaurants, bicycle rental shops, and just a 1-minute walk to a laundromat. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, nice balcony, and modern design. The shower area and bathtub were the highlight, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We saw two cockroaches during our stay. Breakfast was a simple bento sandwich set and quite average. There was no toilet door or hooks in the bathroom to hang towels.

• Mikhail (10/5): Feel like home stay at Sun moon lake - Staff is doing above and beyond to make your stay great. They cooked us amazing home made breakfast and adapted to our timetable making our breakfast before official opening time, helped us to organize our transfer, gave us restaurants recommendations and in general very very sweet and welcoming. Our room was elegant, super clean and tidy - just what you need after bike ride around the lake. Location cannot be better - hotel is super close to the bus terminal, next to all the bike rental shops, restaurants and jut in front of the lake We do not like only the fact that we have not stayed an extra night :)

• Magalie (9/5): Really nice boutique hotel - I highly recommend it. This boutique hotel was excellent. My room was really spacious and had big bathtub. It is located one street behind the pier/lake and 2 mins for the bus station so very convenient. The staff was really helpful.

• Juliane (9/5): Tolles Hotel für den Sun-Moon-Lake - Die Lage ist top. Bus Station nicht weit entfernt und man ist direkt am See. Viele Möglichkeiten ein Fahrrad auszuleihen und viele Restaurants innerhalb von 5 min erreichbar. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß, was den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm macht. Klimaanlage ist sehr leise, kann man also auch nachts laufen lassen ohne Probleme. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und das Frühstück war auch sehr gut! Waren etwas traurig, dass wir nur eine Nacht hier waren. Im Zimmer ist kein Fenster (man wird bei der Buchung aber drauf hingewiesen!) - war also auch okay für uns. Es gibt keine Tür zur Toilette.

• Sylvain (10/5): Bon hôtel pour visiter Sun Moon Lake - Hôtel en plein cœur de Yuchi, idéal pour visiter Sun Moon Lake. Bien décoré, nous avons eu la chambre « mauve » au 3e étage avec un balcon, très agréable. La personne de l’accueil était également très souriante et sympathique.
