• Kvet (9/5): Skvělá poloha - Ubytování na skvělém místě přímo u moře, s terasou. Skvělý výhled a hned vedle možnost procházky. Čisté, nové ubytování. Byli jsme zde téměř sami, takže nevím, jaká je hlučnost, když je plný penzion a lidé chodí do kuchyňky. Měli jsme pokoj přímo proti kuchyňce. Byl opravdu extrémní vítr, že se nedalo ani stát na terase, že to bylo nebezpečné, což se nedalo nic dělat. Ale nedoléhalo okno a tak byl extrémní hluk od větru, přijeli jsme velmi pozdě do ubytování, tak jsme to již pak neřešili. Ale jinak hodnotím ubytování pozitivně. Voda teplá je geotermální.

• alina (7/5): A good enough place to stay for a night or two, especially en route to another location. - Basic guesthouse with clean and cozy rooms. There is a kitchen but with basic supplies. Also has a coffee and tea options. The location was safe and by the ocean. Our room had nice views of the ocean ( this is Iceland after all) :) The kitchen could have been better provided for.

• Helen (9/5): Great for yoghurt and apples - Very clean and with everything we needed. The location on a hill means there are beautiful view out across the water. It’s close to walking trails. Staff were super friendly. The shared kitchen is a nice feature but the large fridge was bizarrely filled with pots of yoghurt and apples, like they were about to make packed lunches for a school trip. It’s not really a facility if it isn’t useable.

• Lea (8/5): Clean, Comfortable, and Convenient - We had a very pleasant stay at Salthús Guesthouse. The room was clean and well-prepared, and check-in and check-out were completely hassle-free. There’s a shared kitchen available, which was well-equipped and allowed us to cook our own meals—very convenient. There were also plenty of parking spaces available right outside the building, which made arrival and departure easy. Everything we needed was there, and the guesthouse felt calm and well-maintained. A great place to stay if you’re traveling through the area.

Hay una zona de cocina común por planta y nevera donde dejar tus cosas y una lavadora que se puede usar. Se aparca fácil delante. Opción cómoda y de buen precio si no encuentras otros alojamientos en la carretera 1, aunque hay que desviarse. Pueblo tranquilo, un supermercado, un par de restaurantes (uno de los cuáles cierra tarde) y cancha de baloncesto con balones de uso público. La piscina pública está a escasos metros, aunque es muy pequeñita.
