• Ian (10/5): Wonderful - paradise on Phu Quc island - I booked this place online going from the previous ratings I had read. This is a very quiet, small, secluded tropical paradise. On arrival Thor welcomed me and we completed the check in formalities. I had arrived rather early so he assigned me to a bungalow with a shower overlooking the pool with a side view to the beach and sea. It had a nice verandah. The bungalow was nicely appointed. It had a big double bed, small desk and a small TV which I never switched on. I enjoyed making instant coffee in the room from time to time and there was a large flip top bottle of water (not sealed!). The fridge contained some mini bar styled cans of beer & soft drinks which I didn't drink. The main room was thankfully air conditioned and there was an additional fan over the bed. The bathroom was not air-conditioned nor was the large walk in shower that was partially open to the elements. Rather basic but functionally adequete. A free breakfast was available in the Sun and Sea restaurant integrated on site. This was a buffet plus menu from which you could choose cooked items. I loved all the tropical fruit on offer there. What stood out for me were the grounds of this little piece of paradise. No fighting for the comfortable wooden sun lounges, swings (a couple even over the, sea), hammocks or tables and chairs near the sandy beach. On some days I was the only one using such facilities. And I loved the long, narrow pier with more sun beds, chairs, etc. stretching way out into the bay. Strolling out there before sunrise was heavenly. Thor manned the reception and was super. He organized a private fishing trip for me with 2 local young lads. That was an adventure. When I wanted to go to the Aussie bar nearby one evening, he took me up there on the back of his motorbike and collected me again when I was ready. Whilst this is a little bit of paradise please remember that this is located on the quiet, east side of the island. There is nothing really to do in the evenings there. You need a driver to take you to the busier part of the island on the West/South West coast.

• Melanie Jane (9/5): - We originally booked to stay at another resort not far away from this one, however the other resort wasn't what we were looking for so we moved to Cosian Bay. The resort is lovely, clean and modern, the staff are so friendly and helpful. The resort has 2 resident dogs and a kitten, the kitten was a massive highlight for myself and my son. The breakfast was also really good. The only downside is that the resort is a little far away from the town centre and markets. It's easy enough to get a grab or hire a scooter, however there's really no need to leave the resort if you are just looking to relax.

• chantal (9/5): Agréable séjour - Calme au bord de l’eau, idéal pour commencer un séjour au Vietnam. Piscine avec jacuzzi top! Ponton agréable pour admirer le couché du soleil. Pas possible de profiter de la plage à cause des détritus présents,général sur l'île. ( bien que la plage de l'hôtel soit nettoyée tous les jours)

• Regine (10/5): Tolle ruhige und gepflegte Anlage in einer noch ursprünglichen Gegend. - Tolle Anlage, schön ruhig und sehr gepflegt. Das Personal ist super nett, zum Frühstück sitzt man sehr schön und die Auswahl ist prima und der Service ebenso. Die Reinigungsmädels leisten ganze Arbeit und Thor ist einfach großartig und kümmert sich umgehend um Wünsche. Sein Humor ist auch auffallend erfrischend. Wir konnten die Ruhe genießen und den Pool fast immer alleine. Wir hatten einen Roller gemietet, womit wir örtlich flexibel waren. Also eine top Empfehlung! Leider gibt es ein großes Müllproblem und die Mitarbeiter des Hotels haben zwar täglich den Strand aufgeräumt, aber die hat nicht lange gehalten. Ab der Hälfte unseres Aufenthaltes wurde dann weniger Müll (deutlich) angespült und auch keine Wasser-Hyazinthen mehr, was sehr angenehm war, natürlich kann das Hotel nichts dafür. Wir hätten gerne etwas mehr Ablagemöglichkeiten im Bungalow gehabt, kennen das aber auch schon aus Thailand.

• Dolf (10/5): Een paradijsje op Phu Quoc, waar je na een periode van reizen, helemaal tot rust kan komen. - Het was een klein paradijsje: prachtige tuin, direct aan zee, heerlijk zwembad, goed eten en lief, gastvrij personeel. De activiteiten zoals yoga, maar ook de dagtripjes (zeestereiland, snorkelen, vissen) en vervoer, die via de receptie werden geregeld zijn top. Thor en Q zijn heel behulpzaam! Maar ook het personeel in het restaurant is super aardig en gastvrij. Ik heb geen minpunten, alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd!

• Celine (1/5): Une honte - Expérience scandaleuse au Cosian Resort Hotel – à éviter absolument. Nous avions réservé sur Booking une chambre de 50 m² avec baignoire et douche. En arrivant à 15h sous 34°C, on nous donne une petite chambre avec seulement une douche, qui ne correspond absolument pas à la réservation. Lorsque nous le signalons, personne ne cherche à résoudre le problème. On nous fait attendre pendant 4 heures, jusqu’à 19h, pour voir la responsable. Pendant tout ce temps : aucune solution, aucune explication, aucun service, pas même un verre d’eau. Nous avons finalement reçu un simple verre d’eau à 19h, après des heures d’attente. Le plus choquant est l’attitude du personnel : arrogance, mépris et moqueries. Je suis en fauteuil roulant, et au lieu de faire preuve de respect et de professionnalisme, certains membres du personnel ont eu une attitude ouvertement moqueuse et déplacée, non seulement envers moi mais aussi envers d’autres clients. Après nous avoir fait attendre pendant des heures, la responsable finit par nous annoncer qu’ils refusent tout simplement de nous donner la chambre réservée et qu’ils nous demandent de quitter l’hôtel. Donc pour résumer : - Réservation non respectée - 4 heures d’attente inutile - Aucune considération pour les clients - Attitude irrespectueuse et humiliant pour un client en fauteuil roulant - Aucune solution proposée, simplement “partez” C’est l’un des pires accueils que nous ayons jamais vécus dans un hôtel. Cet établissement semble avoir zéro sens du service, zéro respect des clients et zéro professionnalisme. Si vous voulez éviter de gâcher votre séjour et être traité avec mépris, passez votre chemin.
• Paul (10/5): - This place is excellent value for money. It is a great place for a night or 2 to totally unwind. Our taxi driver from the airport ( I can't remember his name ) was lovely. The tall guy who also worked in the bar. No real choice around the resort to try a different restaurant etc but the onsite restaurant was fine. Some of the staff were more engaged than others.

• Adrian (10/5): - Insgesamt war alles sehr sehr gut Lage von allem etwas weit weg, aber man muss auf dieser Insel auch nicht wirklich aus dem Hotel. Man verpasst nichts.

Круто, что на территории есть всё: ресторан с вкусной едой, особенно завтраками, вода в открытом доступе, прекрасный массаж, множество комфортных лежаков, бассейн, джакузи, аренда байка (байки в хорошем состоянии) и классные собачки, проживающие на территории. В этом отеле ты действительно чувствуешь, за что платишь: комфорт, продуманность и внимание к твоей персоне. Особенно хочется выделить персонал: давали нам советы, шли навстречу в некоторых моментах, всегда были искренне приветливы, даже чистили и резали наши фрукты. Кстати, на территории отеля растут манго и кокосы, и они очень вкусные. Если вам нужен отдых в уединении, где вы не будете ни о чем переживать – это идеальное место Единственный минус, который относится больше не к отелю, но к острову в целом – огромное количество мусора, выбрасываемого на берег волнами. И в этом отеле нашли выход: убирают мусор ежедневно и уровень берега поднят так, что сам мусор на территорию не попадает, но можно его видеть в воде (что выглядит грустно).

• Theu (10/5): Great beach, friendly staff - I like that the property was away from the city because that was what I wanted. Even though getting to My tours was a little difficult, I didn’t mind it. I like that it was right on the beach, you can go swimming in the ocean or the pool they have. The no AC was tough because it was a little hot for me. They do have a very powerful fan, so that helped. Personally, I need it cold at night to sleep well.

• Liam (5/5): Voor dit geld zouden we het niet aanraden. - - Het personeel was behulpzaam en deed hun best om ons het comfortabel te maken na de voedselvergiftiging. - Het strand was vies. Er spoelt veel afval aan op het strand, hoewel het direct voor het resort wel dagelijks wordt opgeruimd. Ook zijn de stranden aan de andere kant van het eiland veel mooier. - De kamer was prima, maar vrij basic voor het geld dat je er voor betaald. Het had wat schoner gekund. - Na het eten van een burger in het restaurant kreeg mijn vriendin hoogstwaarschijnlijk hierdoor een voedselvergiftiging. Ook was het ontbijt en de rest van het eten niet zo bijzonder.

• Chrissy (9/5): - Sehr schöne, kleine und gepflegte Anlage. Alles sehr sauber Der Strand ist, wie bereits mehrfach erwähnt, nicht wirklich schön. Sehr viel Müll und das Wasser lädt nicht zum Baden ein. Trotzdem ein toller Ausblick mit dem ins Wasser ragenden Steg vom schönen, kleinen Pool aus. Die Anlage liegt sehr abseits mitten in der Natur und ist perfekt zum Relaxen.
• Moritz (7/5): Für ein paar Tage okay - Das Personal war nett und das Restaurant sehr schön. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Haupthaus mit tollem Ausblick, das aber in die Jahre gekommen ist. Das Frühstück und Essen an sich war lecker. Die Pho ist mit 120k ein bisschen teuer, aber zu empfehlen. Am Strand liegt sehr viel Müll. Es gibt außerdem sehr viele Straßenhunde am Strand des Hotels. Das Meer sah auf den Fotos wesentlich einladender aus - Kaum ein Hotelgast hat im Meer gebadet. Das Hotel liegt sehr weit ab vom Schuss. Grab funktioniert dort nicht. Wir saßen einen Abend in Rory‘s Bar fest, deshalb hat uns der Besitzer zurück ins Hotel gefahren. Wer sich auch außerhalb des Hotel aufhalten möchte, ist hier am falschen Ort.

• Christina 91 (8/5): - Der Bungalow war neu wie auch die Anlage. Das Personal freundlich und hilfreich. Der Blick morgens aufa Meer unbezahlbar. Das Frühstück war auch top. Die Lage war sehr ruhig was äußerst angenehm ist aber man sollte sich bewusst sein das man für größere Strecken oder nachts ein Taxi oder Grab braucht. Ein kleiner Kiosk ist fußläufig erreichbar. • stefania (10/5): - Le personnel est au top 👌 ils s occupent adorablement de chiots et cela prouve de la bonté du personnel 👍situation au calme dans l est de l île donc appréciable pour la tranquillité mais avons pu louer une petite moto pour pas cher ce qui permet de visiter l île Un petit manque de déco : voilage au fenêtre pour pouvoir faire la sieste en plein jour sans personne qui nous voit et la plage n est pas accessible à cause des déchets malgré leur efforts de nettoyage .. malheureusement c est le cas dans toute l île et c est bien dommage
• Sabrina (8/5): Entspannte, ruhige Zeit in einem kleinen Resort - Der Ausblick aus unserem Strandbungalow war wunderschön, wir konnten den Sonnenaufgang von unserem Bett aus über dem Meer sehen. Der Steg der direkt auf eine Plattform am Meer hinausführt, war perfekt für ein paar Sonnengrüße am Morgen. Der Pool und die Anlage selbst sind wirklich ausgesprochen schön. Das Resort ist sehr abgelegen, uns war das bewusst. Der Strand ist leider sehr vermüllt, die Mitarbeiter versuchen ihn aber täglich bestmöglich zu säubern. Leider waren die (alle sehr jungen) Angestellten im Restaurant nicht besonders aufmerksam und recht langsam in ihrem Tun. Auch die Speisen selbst waren geschmacklich nicht aufregend.
• Rita Maria (8/5): Traumhafte Bungalow-Anlage aber sehr schmutziges Meer - es war eine sehr schöne Bungalow Anlage, ich hätte mir mehr Freundlichkeit vom Managepaar gewünscht. Kein guten Tag, kein lächeln. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Es war sehr abgelegen, aber das haben wir so gewünscht . Das Meer war sehr, sehr schmutzig. Man konnte nicht baden, da es keinen spass macht zwischen Plastik und Toilettenpapier zu schwimmen. Es wurde jeden Tag der Strand gereinigt,aber die Schubkarre wurde nur gleich nach der Grenze der Anlage wieder ausgeschüttet. Beim nächsten höheren Wellengang ist der ganze Abfall wieder im Meer
• Sandrine (10/5): Complexe parfait pour se reposer face a la mer si on recherche le calme absolu. - Établissement très propre, très agréable, très calme. Le personnel d’une énorme gentillesse. La nourriture est très bonne ( petit déjeuner copieux et varié). Le jardinier présent tous les matins pour l’entretien des espaces verts et les chambres sont faites tous les matins avec changement de serviette. À droite et à gauche de l’hôtel les plages sont jonchées de déchets rejetés par la mer. Ça gâche un peu cet endroit qui est très beau. Un peu loin de tout mais on le savait .

• Yvonne (7/5): Teleurstellend en ruim onder verwachting - Schoon zwembad Mooie steiger Bungalow goede ligging Je voelt je niet echt welkom. Het draait in eerste instantie vooral om dat je direct betaald. Water op kamer moet je voor betalen. Strand lijkt op de plaatjes prachtig maar dat is helaas anders. Het ligt vol met afval. Personeel ( op uitzondering na) spreekt slecht Engels en lijkt wat uitgeblust en er niet echt zin in te hebben. Alleen de serveerster en een ober die savonds werkten waren vrolijk. Dat maakt zo’n verschil.

• Anthony (9/5): Very calm, clean, peaceful place with kind staffs - Very calm, clean, nice scenery and comfortable bed. Variety of food are available. Very kind staff! Yoga program is available only Monday and Friday... It could be good to have more days on yoga.!

• Yan (8/5): Beautiful resort environment with great staff service. - Quite a small but beautiful Resort with enough facilities. Quiet and away from cities. Staff service was the best part. Pretty small pool and tiny beach. Much detail housekeeping preferred especially the floor inside the room and how to keeping away the unpleasant smell from the toilet. Room lighting inconsistent.

• Anna Egeskov (8/5): Vi havde et godt ophold på hotellet, poolen var skøn og der var en dejlig ro - Dejlig beliggenhed, rolige omgivelser Maden i restauranten var kedelig og kom aldrig på samme tid ved bordet når man bestilte.
• Gabriela (7/5): If you love swimming in the sea you will be disappointed. - Beautifully set in the greenery. Well kept garden and swimming pool. Room had faul smell and the sea is dirty with floating plastic and rubbish. Also the beach next to the hotel is covered by trash.

• Julia (8/5): Schöne, ruhige Anlage mit kleinen Abstrichen - Die Anlage war sehr gepflegt und sehr schön angelegt. Die Zimmer waren eher spartanisch eingerichtet,aber man hatte alles was man braucht. Das Personal war freundlich und das Essen war in Ordnung. Der Strand ist klein und wird täglich durch das Personal gereinigt. Das Hotel ist ideal, wenn man abseits des Trubels entspannen möchte. Der Strand vom Hotel wird zwar gereinigt aber der Müll wird dann 10m weiter nebenan abgeladen. Die Müllsituation am Strand und im Meer ist nicht besonders einladend zum Baden.
• Amy (10/5): Chill in paradise - From check in to check out and everything in between, our stay was effortless. Everything felt easy, peaceful and no ask too large. The property itself is gorgeous with multiple locations to relax; it’s perfect for a mini staycation. The restaurant serves delicious food and the breakfast is until 10am daily, perfect for a sleep in. The only fault of our stay was the bed, it was on the firm side.

• Maria (9/5): Ihana ja hyvin rauhallinen paratiisi - Meidän huone oli B01 ja se oli aivan ihana ja tämän lähemmäksi rauhaa ja rantaa et pääse! Ranta oli meidän aikana tuulinen, joten vesi ei ollut kovin kirkasta. Mutta en tiedä vaihteleeko se. Paikka ihanan hiljainen, ei ihmisiä missään. Todella hyvin pidetty piha alue ja siisti ihana allasalue. Aamupala erinomainen ja myös ravintolan ruoka iltaisin. Hotellissa vesiautomaatti josta saa juomavettä. Skootterin saa vuokrata suoraan hotellilta ja sillä pääsee ajelemaan todella hiljaisia teitä vaikka sunset towniin ja pieniä kalastajakyliä läpi. Täällä ei ollut ollenkaan liikennettä. Tulisin takaisin ja suosittelen jos haluat olla melkein vain itsekseen. Hotelli sijaitsee keskellä ei yhtään mitään, jos viihdyt autenttisessa rauhassa tämä on sinulle, mutta jos et varaudu että täällä ei ole mitään. Täällä ei myöskään ole juurikaan palveluja. Ihan pari perus kauppaa ja hotellin ravintoloita. Hinnat hotellissa ja kaupassa ovat melkein tuplat saaren länsipuoleen verrattuna. Mutta se on toki ymmärrettävää. Pieni miinus muurahaiset huoneessa, mutta se oli ihan odotettavissa kun huone on maan tasalla.

• Ian (9/5): Our stay was overall very enjoyable and would recommend to others - The Staff were all very professional, courteous and friendly. They made our stay very pleasant. The grounds and landscape were very well kept and attractive. Being steps away from the ocean was a major plus. I did not like the fact that a large group of guests who all knew each other were allowed special privileges in dinning room. They were extremely loud and obnoxious making dinning very unpleasant for other guests.

The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. • Michael (4/5): Leider sehr vermüllter Strand - Die Anlage ist Ansicht ganz nett und das Personal ist freundlich und bemüht. Besonders der junge Mann an der Rezeption ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider sind die Zimmer sehr abgewohnt und riechen muffig. Der Strand ist dermaßen vermüllt, das für uns sich leider keine Urlaubsfreude einstellen konnte. Die Wasserqualität ist schlecht, so das man leider nicht baden kann. Im Restaurant werden unübliche 8% extra Gebühren erhoben. Darauf wir nicht hingewiesen.
• Leyla (7/5): Schönes Hotel, das noch am Service arbeiten kann. - Die Anlage des Hotels ist wunderschön und sehr gepflegt. Auch, dass das Hotel weit weg vom Trubel ist hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Zimmer waren sauber und die Ausstattung ausreichend. Leider waren wir vom Service nicht so begeistert. Sowohl im Hotel, als auch im Restaurant.
• Ling (10/5): 非常适合游泳，水不深但水域广阔，下午三点开始太阳会落到山后面就不晒了，与西海岸最大的不同是能看日出 - 早餐非常好吃！不是敷衍的自助餐，是可以自己选择不同种类的早餐的，会现做，还配上了新鲜的水果。 交通有点距离南北和中部市区都太远了。

• Gert (8/5): - Great place, good facilities, friendly helpful staff. Away from the worst of Phu Quoc. The smoking. For some reason Europeans think it is OK to smoke everywhere including in the restaurant. Staff did not seem empowered to stand up to it. Because of the remoteness, which it is largely a plus, any trip involves arranging a taxi or booking a grab. Very little within walking distance.
• Huynh (8/5): - Room was nice and big and comfortable. Large bathroom and nice shower. Very clean. Breakfast was great with lots of options. Although it was located beachfront, the ocean was not very clean. Lots of garbage and seaweed, staff tried to keep it clean but was not possible. Not much of a beach area.
• Hanrich (10/5): Paradise. - Exactly what we were looking for - quiet, clean and comfortable. We spent a week relaxing on the beach and by the pool, reading and having great drinks and fresh spring rolls. Great front desk staff - Thor specifically. Most of the restaurant staff were great too - except for two grumpy guys that seemed very unhappy to be there.
