• Ane (8/5): We had a comfortable overnight stay. Clermont is a beautiful town, wish we had more time to explore. - The room was clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Walking distance to the IGA and pubs/restaurants. We stayed over Easter and booked mainly because of the on-site restaurant. However, when we arrived there were no staff at the front desk and the restaurant was closed, with no prior notice in the booking or communication. Even the IGA in town was closed, so we were lucky to find a pub open for dinner down the road, as we hadn’t planned to cook.
• Peter (7/5): We where happy with everything staff were friendly and helpful - Breakfast would have been great. That was the biggest disappointment not been able to have bacon and eggs. Unfortunately the under cover parking is a bit low for tall cars.

• Janine Hallett (9/5): Best Accommodation in Clermont I've stayed in. Will return. - Excellent Accommodation and comfortable. Very happy with the room and all supplies. Great wifi reception. Got room service for dinner and it was quick and quite nice. Would stay here again for work. Hard to find any negatives with this accommodation.

• Jim (5/5): May a three star, definitely not a four - Nothing exceptional Aged interior, bed was way to soft for my liking and there was a big crack in the wash basin. The curtain was partially dislodged allowing the light in early. The aircon was blowing straight onto the bed making it difficult to be comfortable in the room.

• Norma (6/5): - Beds are comfy. Rooms are clean. I was in a room with an internal door. The bed in the next room obviously butted against the door as did mine. I could hear EVERYTHING they did very clearly. I had to push my bed as far away from the door as possible but as there was also a single bed in my room there wasn't much space to move. My stay here is usually great - will be checking I'm not on a linked room in future. Sound proofing badly needed!!!

• Jessica (8/5): - We had a great stay at the Clermont Country Motor Inn. The room was clean and comfortable, and the pool was a nice bonus. Perfect location right across from IGA on the main street, with an easy walk to the Chinese restaurant and local pubs for a Sunday night meal (as the motel restaurant isn’t open then). Convenient and well-situated for a stay in Clermont. One thing we didn’t love was that there were no plates or cutlery provided in the room. After a long day of driving, it would have been nice to have the option to eat a simple meal in rather than having to go out.
• Cynthia and Brian (10/5): My 3 C’s : Clean, Comfortable and Convenient - Comfortable, quiet, clean and the breakfast was really nice…eggs on toast (Gluten Free for me!) with grilled tomato and hash browns. Good brand of juices. Exactly on time as requested. Only one light in the main room but a bed lamp was supplied to off set that. No screen on the bathroom window so I didn’t want to leave it open. The room we had had a QB and a single Bed ( both comfortable) with one small table in between. The QB was up against the wall so it meant if my hubby and I slept in the QB one of us would have to try to crawl out to go to the toilet at at night (not ideal when you are in your 70’s ) BUT we chose to sleep in both beds so each of us could hop out if needed. Problem solved for us 🤗though more work for the staff!

• Angela (9/5): Little patch of paradise... - You can tell when people make an effort.. even putting the coax and power lead for the TV in a conduit to look neat. A little bit of greenery in the garden goes a long way. Having an excellent restaurant on-site just makes it all better. Thanks. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. I understand it's a bother, especially when left on. The rooms really need it.

The young couple that were bar/housekeeping were really great - happy, friendly and efficient. Booked Executive room but was given a standard. The standard rooms are older and haven't been refurbished. Also booked the Executive so that we had a lounge as we were there for 3 nights. The standard had no lounge and has instead a single bed.

• Damien (9/5): Peaceful and close to everything. - Everything we needed for a night stopover on our travels and after the drive from Charters Towers to Clermont we needed a rest and we were given that. The place was quiet and we had options within reach for food etc. Couldn't fit the car undercover due to having a roof rack and luggage which made parking a challenge.
• Colin (10/5): A convenient location and comfortable accommodation. - Location was perfect. Walking distance to shops & hotels. I didn't use the onsite resturant but the smells coming from the kitchen were very inticing. Weather conditions were extremely hot and I can attest that the air conditioning worked perfectly. Nothing particularly. The facility appears well maintained for its age and very convenient.

• Scott (6/5): Accommodation was fine, but Clermont was not a place to stay overnight. - The room was fine, clean and comfortable. Was very disappointed that the restaurant at the motel was closed, as this was our reason for choosing it, and the lack of staff on site created some confusion for us, and real anger from other guests trying to check in. Was told we could get a meal at one of the 3 pubs in town but this was not true, only one offered any kind of meal service and no real choice once we got there. (Ended up back at the BP roadhouse on the highway just to get some food) Not really the fault of the accommodation, but given the total lack of facilities, will be giving Clermont a miss in the future, but not really the fault of the motel, just a sign of a deteriorating economy

Rooms were small and all beds are close together, however they were clean and comfortable. Air con worked and bathroom was clean. The restaurant at the motel is excellent! The water jug was empty in the fridge when we arrived.
