- Jennifer (8/5): Thoroughly recommend this property. - Sunny Gums is located in a beautiful and relaxing setting. We were greeted on our arrival by our host who was extremely pleasant and helpful.
The accommodation had everything we require for our stay and the kitchen was quite well equipped. It stated that the property is a 20 minute walk into the township of Penguin and it may well be, but what a walk, the property is located on a steep hill and this would make the walk into Penguin or back quite difficult except for anyone who does not possess very good fitness levels. Having said this the location of the property was so peaceful and relaxing this was not really an issue.
- Kevin (10/5): An outstanding property in a secluded place. - Everything. Sunny Gum is an exceptional property to stay at whilst in Penguin. The facilities are second to none. The cabins are spacious, clean and have everything you need for your stay. The property is located in a quiet, secluded little valley away from town, however a short drive to beautiful Penguin. The hosts are brilliant, have the cabin ready for your arrival and leave you in peace to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Having to leave.
- Greg (9/5): - Beautiful setting.
Basic but well equipped. Perfect setting for 3 families/friends.
Very welcoming host.
A pod coffee machine would be great as you are out of town. N/Att
- SuperMo (9/5): -
- Ellen (10/5): Spectacular - The tranquility of the property.
The cabin was one of three and it was perfect. It was clean, homely, comfortable and warm.
Loved the addition of the sheep on the hill, especially the black faced one who was very friendly. There was nothing to not like it was superb
- Lance (9/5): Pleasant stay - Comfortable stay for 2 people. Clean tidy well appointed. Friendly host. There is highway noise but unit has double glazed windows so highway noise is minimal inside unit.

- Meg (10/5): Exceptional - Sunny Gum was the perfect retreat. Beautiful location, close to the town centre. Stars were amazing at night, the place was cosy and the hosts were super lovely. Would definitely stay again.
- Jane (10/5): A very enjoyable stay. - Being one of three cabins in a little valley near a stream in close proximity to Penguin. It was also easy by car to visit Cradle Mountain and places of interest along the North Coast. The highway is nearby and traffic sounds can be heard but we closed the windows at night and were not bothered by it.
- Beverley (8/5): Very good - Location in a country atmosphere with lots of bird life etc. Nice Camp Kitchen area with Aussie flag flying proudly and a kookaburra sitting on a nearby post The washing machine was ok but there was no dryer. A large folding airer was in our cabin and adequately held and dried our washing
- Keith (10/5): The host was very friendly and helpful! I’d definitely recommend a short stay here. The town of Penguin was only 5 minut - The property was off the beaten track, but the main road was a bit noisy at times. The setting was really attractive. Only the noise from the main road above the property. Not enough to mar our stay!

- Paul (8/5): Very good - Good sized and well fitted out. Close to town Freeway noise
- Glenn (7/5): Good -
- Gina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kanishka (9/5): Superb - Our family had a fantastic time at Sunny Gum. The house was perfect for kids, with plenty of space and a lovely backyard. The location is close to Penguin beach. Also we visit Cradial mountain from this location and the drive was 1 hour and 3 mins.
- Mawasti (9/5): Superb -
- Breanna (10/5): 100% recommend Sunny Gum to everyone! Nice location and peaceful and refreshing. - Everything! The location was perfect. Easy to get out and about and close to town but quiet in the countryside at the same time.
The cabin was very modern, clean and spacious.

- John (9/5): We very much enjoyed our stay; Penguin is a delightful place and the cabin was very good. - The setting was beautiful and extremely well laid out. Our host was friendly and obviously keen to maku us welcome. The only problem was the proxim8ty of a major road which carried heavy vehicles at certain times of the day but we wouldn't let that stop us from returning to Sunny Gum.
- Ben (10/5): Exceptional -
- Margaret (10/5): The best stay ever. - The owner left muffins & biscuits. Which is very unusual but great. The grounds were well maintained. It was just a wonderful stay.
