- Susan (1/5): We paid for a suite that we never GOT! How is that ok? - I paid for a Queen suite but got a regular room. Nicco from Booking stated we would be compensated for one night’s price since no suites were available. The following morning your company emailed me stating that I would only get $27 credit in app. I do not plan ever using Booking.com ever again. The hotel stated your company failed to provide the correct information about our stay. Your company blamed them. Such poor customer service!

- Tracy (10/5): - One of the nicest hotel I’ve stayed in. Would highly recommend to anyone either for leisure or work. The staff was super friendly, the breakfast was amazing, the hotel was very classy and i slept really well in one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Nothing, it was great!

- Carissa (7/5): Find a different place. - Property was updated and looked nice. Room wasn’t ready at check in time. Staff didn’t have any idea as to when our room would be ready. Many people waiting to check in at check in time were crammed into the dining area waiting for rooms to be ready. Pool was very small, crammed with people, and untidy.
- Regina (4/5): - Room 215 - trash in the bathroom, 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 empty, 1 had 30 sheets, maybe (I have a picture); no washcloths no bath mat towel. two bath towels, so when done with showers used bath towel as a floor towel. Bathroom door did not close (I have picture) Room door, in an accessible room, was extremely hard to open. 1 reading light on the right side of a king bed (I have a picture) TVs did not work in the whole hotel. Could not get free tv, netflix or Apple TV. Slight Animal smell In my opinion, this room should not be reservable. I wanted a room for 1 night. It was $220 - I wish I had reserved at any of the less expensive hotels, as while there may have been issues, it would have been around $100. Room was quiet. And there were 6 hooks in the bathroom - most places have 1. And yes, when I checked out, I listed all the problems and showed the pictures to McKenzie, as the Manager was not in (It was 8am). As it was a 3rd party reservation (they told me when I called to find out how to get the TV to work and was told most of the hotel's TVs had a problem) there was nothing they could do. I have stayed at Hamptons before - never again. For a national brand, I expect a certain standard, like toilet paper, a bathroom door that closes. None of these issues alone is worth complaining about. But there were too many too ignore, especially the bathroom issues. I have no complaints about the front desk, but they couldn't do anything.

- Doreen (10/5): It was a short but very pleasant stay. Would love to stay here again. - David was such a great help with our late check in (as we were at a wedding). He deserves big kudos! The breakfast was so nice to have available for our grands :) The pool was also a plus for the grands! Love the 12:00 checkout time too! We couldn't find anything that we didn't like.
- Jeanette (8/5): - We try to stay here whenever we visit family in Menomonie. Front desk staff were efficient and friendly and free bottled water was offered to all. My room was clean and comfortable with a good shower. We used the pool and the water was warm and the area clean. Breakfast was fine and well-attended. I would have given a rating of "excellent" if the communal areas were more well-attended. The pool was short on towels and the key card was not working, replaced with a confusing fob. The only recycling container on my floor was in the ice-vending area near the elevator. In the four days of my stay that container was never emptied. A pizza box sat on top of it, and a plastic water bottle was never removed from a window sill at the end of the hallway. I understand housekeeping positions are hard to fill, but maybe the Hilton Corp. can try paying livable wages for these often thankless jobs. I appreciated all who took care of things during my stay.

When checking in yesterday another guest was complaining that their room hadn't been cleaned (and this was at/after check in time). I should have taken this as an omen. One of our two rooms wasn't cleaned at all, and the other had a dirty shower and housekeeping rag hanging over the shower door. For $200 a night in small town Wisconsin, guests should expect clean rooms as a foundational amenity. We will be staying at alternative lodging in the future.

We enjoyed that there were cookies, bottled water and board games for patrons if they wished. We didn't enjoy the continental breakfast. We had hoped there would've been a meat, like sausage or bacon. Instead it was mostly carbs or instant eggs/hardboiled or fruit, which my some tried but did not like. We went for breakfast elsewhere. That was the only negative aspect of our stay there.

- Kristin (8/5): Not a fan of dogs in the hotel - Our suite had more than enough room for me and my 4 children. I was actually impressed with the extra room. Made our stay more comfortable as far as space was concerned. The staff that we did meet seemed friendly and easy to approach if we needed anything. I felt terrible for the young lady who was running breakfast seemingly all on her own. She was doing her best to keep up with things as they ran out, but there were some disappointments when it came to the breakfast selection. It was decent, but I guess I’ve been spoiled by hotels that offer better options. And the orange juice tasted like water unfortunately. One other disappointment for our family was that when we were swimming in the pool, someone’s dog ran in and jumped into the pool. This not only frightened my kids, but that was just gross to have a dog swimming in the pool with them (in my opinion). I understand this is no fault of the hotel, bet we didn’t realize the hotel allows dogs until after we had booked & showed up for our stay. My parents had a different room than me and noticed a weird smell in their room. Even after getting moved to a different room, they still noticed a smell there too. It seemed likely that’s because of dogs being allowed to stay there. Just unpleasant for those of us who aren’t traveling with pets and just want a room that smells clean.

- Courtney (4/5): Average stay for high end cost. - Good location We stayed once before and this visit was not as pleasant. Our room was kind of dirty, breakfast was not impressive at all, and it was overall uncomfy. Not what I’ve come to expect from Hilton Hotels.

- Susan (8/5): A Good Value for the Money - The breakfast for this stay was much better than our stay 8 nights earlier. For example, there were actually things to add to the oatmeal (nuts, raisins), whereas before there was nothing. For both stays, the room (requested the same one) was very clean with ample amenities in the bathroom (soap, shampoo, conditioner, dryer, lotion...), The TV had easy-to-use controls and good picture quality. Beds very comfy. For both stays, the people at the main desk were helpful and courteous. And we appreciated the proximity to Perkins Restaurant for dinner. The night of the 2nd stay, there was a family down the hall that was fairly loud until the kids went to sleep. Maybe the hotel could use more sound-proofing?

- kim_w00d (10/5): Winning Customer Service - I mistakenly messed up my credit debit card and brought cash. Kia the GM worked tirelessly to check my family in (2 rooms). She was positive and super supportive and friendly. The entire crew here was friendly and helpful during the whole visit as well, even maintenance. What a winning team here. I will definitely use Hilton Inn again 🥰❤️❤️😀👍👍👍👍👍

- Chris (9/5): Superb - Large open lobby/breakfast area we could visit with our family group staying on site for family wedding weekend. Rooms nice and beds comfortable. Easy to get around the Menomonie area from this location. Ice machine on floor 4 was not working, sign was posted.
