- Kristiina (10/5): Nice flat in a good location - Very good location, near Nyugati railway station. Clean and comsy room with air conditioning. Peaceful, no traffic noise which is exceptional in Budapest. Nice kitchen with tee/coffee and possibilty to cook your own food. Friendly service and extra points that you can get in already at 14 pm. The front of the building seems a bit run-down, but do not be scared: inside everything it nice and clean!

- Sophie Deckmyn (7/5): Goed voor kort verblijf. - De locatie was perfect gelegen. Bij de gezellige straten en op wandelafstand han veel bezienswaardigheden. De host zelf van erg aardig. Het dubbel bed waren 2 enkele bedden aan elkaar wat dus wat oncomfortabel lag om bij elkaar te kunnen liggen ook hadden we 2stuks 1 persoonsdeken dus konden niet samen onder 1 deken liggen. Tijdens het verblijf mag je maar 1 keer van handdoek veranderen wat niet echt aangenaam en hygiënisch is bij een verblijf van 7 nachten.

- Linda Andrea (8/5): - My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. The space was clean and neat. The bed was very comfortable. Something to consider with the house/room rentals is Budapest is very old. Plumbing can sometimes make the room smell bad and there was a little issue with ants coming up from underground. The host was very attentive and helpful with the ant issue and provides big spray. Overall, great experience!
- Daigo (7/5): Shared apartment with a bit noisy room - The bathroom and bedroom were clean, and the apartment was conveniently located with good access to public transportation. The apartment was quite noisy, as the common area, the kitchen, is shared with three other residents and the flat door appears to be thin. My room was located directly in front of the shared space and adjacent to the front door. One couple typically returned home around 4 a.m., often slamming the door and using the kitchen, making it difficult to sleep. Additionally, the key handler usually worked in the kitchen space from around 10:00 a.m., adding to the noise during the day. Furthermore, the desk was too narrow, and the chair was too small to work comfortably on a laptop.

Staff were overall really nice, the hotel has a nice atmosphere and unique, vintage style. Everything was really clean, our room got refreshed on a daily base, quite spotless. Walls are paper-thin, which can be a problem if you got a neighbour that is only able to sleep with the TV turned on all night. Wouldn't be a problem otherwise. Rooms are not too big, but it's Paris...

- Journey375413 (10/5): Very Centrally Located - When you first walk in, you notice that the the courtyard is somewhat run down, but on entering the apartment, it's beautifully designed, immaculate with a feminine touch. The rooms are large and the communal kitchen is well laid out with every thing one needs, except a microwave would be handy. Owners are very personable and helpful. It is in a very central location and there is a lovely bakery across the street. The only issue we encountered was loud noises coming from above on one night.

The location is excellent, 5min walk to metro line 1, there’s a lovely little bakery across the road with fresh pastries. The room was very clean, and the staff excellent. I couldn’t figure how to close the window shutters.

The room was nice with AC, private shower and bathroom and there is a nice communal area where you can use cups and dishes for tea and coffee. Overall a great place to stay for a short gateway.

The refrigerator could use a scrub, but the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen are very clean. Finding parking was a challenge during our stay, but we got that worked out. - Yaroslav (8/5): - The hostess is very nice and easy to communicate with. Property is decorated with a unique feel. Some observations I had about the property that I kind of picked up that couldn't really get from the listing. -My room was located over a bar and located on ground floor. Unfortunately, there weren't any dark blinds to cover the window, only see through ones. While they work during the day, during the night they turned my room into a movie theatre for anyone smoking outside the bar between 9pm and 12am. I feel add a blind set of curtains to cover the window at night, and open them up to leave the see through curtains during the day would solve this. -The street outside was under major reconstruction at the time of my stay, which added to the noise. Obviously it will end at some point, but from the amount of stuff they were doing, it will last to at least summer 2024. -Honestly, I remember the hostess mentioning about how to lock the front door, but I was tired from the long transit from BC and missed the explanation. A demonstration would have actually helped, but I figured it out in the end after a couple of days. To lock, use the same key you use for your own room and raise the handle up as you turn the key.

- Ákos (5/5): Good room but noisy apartment - The rooms is ok. There was a road reconstruction on the street which was noisy, and they didn’t inform me about that. The doors inside doesn’t cancel the noises, so if someone opens a door in the apartment it’s very noisy. The fridge is also very loud in the room. I couldn’t sleep well because of these in the apartment.

- Mitzi (10/5): One night in Budapest - Serenity Boutique in Budapest was a wonderfully peaceful place to stay only a couple of blocks away from the metro. I only wish I could have stayed longer. Every thing was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Even though I was a bit early, the hostess was on site to greet me. If I am ever in Budapest again, this is the first place I will try to book.
- John (10/5): - Nice bedroom with TV & ensuite shower room; smart modern kitchen shared between 4 bedrooms, with coffee, tea, glasses, plates, hob, oven, dishwasher, etc. Bread/cake shop across the road, nice bar in the nearby basement. On hop on/hop off bus route; 20 minute walk to city centre; 30 min. to river. Lots of restaurants near the Octagon. Good value overall...
- jyoti (10/5): A cosy place - A centrally located cosy property where we stayed for 4 nights. It is a 5 mins walk to Nyugati station, bus stop and Metro. It's next to Andrassy street, a 15 mins walk to the city centre (Deak Ferenc, Jewish quarters), and in the reverse 15 mins to the Heroes Square and Schezeni Bath. It is a quiet old residential area. The property opens out directly to the street which is a bit dirty and at night a bit lonely, but we never had issues as it was only a 2-3 mins walk. Once inside, it is a nice warm cosy place. It is not a hotel, more an Air BnB kind of thing. There are no dedicated check-in and checkout, and no housekeeping. Beata is a lovely lady who stayed in communication from the moment we booked the room and was there to receive us. It has four lovely well-cared for ensuite rooms with a common living space. The common space has a well-equipped kitchen with coffee, tea, cereals, etc. Nice crockery and cutlery. The room size is enough for 02 persons, is neat, and has all the amenities. The heating was nice and warm. Very comfortable beds, clean linen, and towels. A nice mid-size modern bathroom. The only issue was by the 5th day we had run out of clean towels and linen. We did mention it to Beata and she said she will leave some extra towels. Overall, it is a comfortable place to stay and provides easy access to all the attractions in Budapest. It is a great value for money.

There is a little pub outside also, our room was just above the pub. Main issue I think is safety. I realized this only getting inside the apartment. Correct me if I am wrong, but is it the same key for all the doors foe the rooms inside? Because all guests open the entrance door with the same key, which is also for your room inside. Or I am missing something here? How can you leave valuable belongings in the room if others can unlock it? Of course, we didnt try it, but it is 1 key for entrance door and the same key for the room.

Instructions on turning on the mini-split room heat/cooler, how to enter/exit doors of building and unit would be helpful, as well as an accurate address on exterior of building and/or name of facility.

Other pros were: good location, quiet, very clean, comfortable beds, large shower cabin, the facilities in the room (soap, lotion, towels, closet, large mirrors), very affordable. If I ever come back to Budapest and this location is available, I'll definetely come back! Maybe give clear instructions to other guests to keep the door of the hotel locked at all times. It didn't feel safe to find out that some guests left the door open all night. Maybe change the door knob to make sure that the door cannot be opened from the outside without a key.

Should NOT be listed as a hotel. Does not have reception or room service. They give you a half a blanket for a queen bed if it's just you in the room. One set of towels for 4 days I stayed. I'm not sure how it has a 9.2 rating, this is absurd.

The owners are super friendly and spoke our language so well, showed us around and we’re so helpful! Our room were spotless and adorable and a 20 minute walk to the baths. There’s 4 en-suite bedrooms and a communal kitchen area which is ideal for lunches etc, would stay again any time!

- Verified traveler (6/5): - Once inside the building, the rooms and reception/kitchen area are nice and clean. Pictures shown are an accurate representation of this. The staff were fine. The problem is that you cannot contact them. We called dozens of times, sent emails and messages on Expedia but had no response. The staff aren't at the hotel very often, so if you have a problem of any kind (which we did), you're on your own. We slept well apart from the last night. From the early hours of the morning, there was a lot of loud banging.
- thewanderer7557 (6/5): So close to being perfect, let themselves down massively. - Staying here for a long weekend, gorgeous rooms, communal kitchen, clean bathrooms it all seemed too good to be true then alas they let themselves down by NOT cleaning the rooms, disgraceful really. No clean bed sheets which is acceptable if you are only a few nights, however one thing that just isn’t acceptable is no clean towels. I want to give this place a 5 star as it was so brilliant but the fact they don’t pay cleaners to do the rooms is pretty abysmal. Haven’t been to a BNB or hotel anywhere in the world no matter what star level that doesn’t clean rooms, odd.
- travellfi (10/5): Lovely accommodation - This property was exactly like the lovely discription and pictures on the website. Immaculately clean and in perfect order. The location is quiet but near to everything on foot or public transport. We were met by the owner without any problems and our flight was fairly late. A pleasant welcome and cup of tea & plate of biscuits on offer. Would recommend definitely

- Verified traveler (10/5): - I liked the fact that the kitchen/dining area was stocked and available to guests in order to make drinks or food if required. My only negatives were that our towels were not changed at all during our four night stay and there were no instructions as to how to work the air conditioning.
- Sharon (10/5): - Very clean and nice. Enjoyed the bakery across the street. The entrance is a surprise... you wouldn't know how nice the hotel is by looking at the front door.

The apartment we stayed in was spotlessly clean and perfect for our requirements, it also has a shared fully functional kitchen, we didn't end up using it because of the great value options on the doorstep! I would definitely recommend a stay here.
