• Stan (6/5): The 716 is the place to be. - Always stay here when back home. Great value for a nice and clean room. Excessive noise both nights ended up having to leave at 330am since sleep wasn't going to be part of the stay. Would be nice if the breakfast could have dietary restrictions DF/GF options.

The housekeeping needs to be tightened up for sure this facility is not clean at all i just stayed at another location for the first time with tru by Hilton in Columbus oh & it was excellent that was just last weekend. This facility needs to be cleaned way to many spots on the walls just in my room alone & that was the second room they moved me to the first room you could see the dirt in the corners of the window ledge a whole lot of trash crumbs on the floor at the threshold of the door..the room that I actually stayed in because I really didn't want to move around again, the floor in my room was super sticky not sure what they do the floors with but they need to stop or do better my freshly washed feet was sticking & even with shoes on you could here the sticky floor to the point the front check in guys i can't remember his name, had came to my room & he was even sticking to the floor he tried to help as much as he could cause housekeeping was gone with some water & towels to wet & wipe the floors down & you could literally see whatever they used was way to much product on the floor & further more the elevators are disgusting it has & oder & you can clearly see it hadn't been cleaned swept dusted or anything dirt was all around on the floor in the elevators I didn't like my stay at all definitely won't be coming back there..

Staff member went to each table to check if anyone wanted/needed something else before closing $clearing the buffet area. Very thoughtful! Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The proximity to the interstate made the room noisy at all hours!! The HVAC system was also noisy in the room.

• 118chamindab (2/5): Tru does not deserve the Hilton name – at least this one - I’ve stayed at Hilton properties in all continents except for Africa and I have been a Hilton Gold member for years. Stayed one night at this property and would like to share my experience that I think show the competency and the quality of the service provided by the management and the front desk staff. I check in as usual and the front desk does the usual greeting. I asked if they need my vehicle information but I was told no. I go to my room and I get a greeting text message from the front desk using the Hilton app, all is good so far. In the morning, I go the hotel breakfast area which is right behind the front desk and everything is normal. About an hour after I return from the breakfast, I get a call on my phone from the front desk and they apparently want to talk to me about my car. At the front desk, I see my car and few other cars towed to the front of the hotel. And the front desk tells me that I have to pay for the towing, a charge that is more than the Tru cheap hotel room price. I ask and then talk to the manager and she say “we have had these notices about the parking lot paving on the elevator doors for two weeks and there is a notice at the front desk” and she points to a notice that sits among other promotional notices. Then my questions were: • Why wasn’t I told about the parking lot paving when I checked in? • Why wasn’t the parking area blocked off with cones or tape? Then she walks over with me and shows a far end door that had a notice • Why didn’t you call me before (which they did after towing) or text me (using which they greeted me the day before) or asked for the vehicle information when I checked in since you knew you may need to call vehicle owners ? • Why didn’t someone from your staff put out a notice in the breakfast area about the vehicles and ask owners to talk to the front desk? I was called about an hour after the breakfast and had I known at the time of my breakfast, everyone would have been fine To all of this, the managers response was “we have had these notices on the elevator doors for two weeks and there is a notice at the front desk”. I complained about this to Hilton and unfortunately the response was the decision is up to the local management. You can make your own judgment about the quality of service you can expect from such an incompetent staff and management. For me, this will be my first and last visit to a Tru property. I can understand why Hilton owns the Tru brand but I don’t think they have understood the damage such poor quality service can do to the Hilton brand name. Tru does not deserve the Hilton name, really disappointing experience.

• May Chan (8/5): - We were here years ago and it still has the dorm vibe. Aged a bit but it’s naturally so. Friendly staff. Nice layout of the pool. Good breakfast. Too bad they only make the room every other day. We heard heavy footsteps from upstairs around 4am every night, guessed it’s the airline workers hurrying to work. Book a room on the top floor to avoid it.

However, there was peeling paint on the ceiling above the shower, two spiders in the bathroom, and our TV didn't work. When I called the front desk to see if we could get a replacement TV or if something could be done about the error message that said it was weak signal, we were told that there was only one person there and they couldn't do anything or adjust our bill at all for it

Unless you stay on the top floor, the thumping footsteps from the floor above are very annoying, especially if those guests have children.

• Christina (10/5): - I travel a lot, and this was the best hotel accommodations I have experienced in a long time. Bed was very comfortable. Shower and bathroom amenities were very good. Property was very well kept, staff was professional, kind, and caring. The salt water pool was good temperature. There was a 24 hour coffee, tea, and hot chocolate bar. The complimentary breakfast bar was absolutely the best I have had. There were fresh milk bottles, farm fresh yogurt, granola, oatmeal, lots of cereal, fresh omelets, fried potatos, sausage, pancakes with various toppings, fruit, bagels, bread, and more. I give this hotel the highest rating and would definitely stay here again!

• Carolyn (8/5): Quick stop - Super staff on the night shift checked us in at 2am and were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Rooms were modern and clean and the AC worked really well. One issue was that the checkout time is midday and despite having the do not disturb on the door the cleaning team was knocking and opening the door as early as 11am, then they came back around 11.50am as we were almost ready to leave. Understanding that they want to complete their job, it was still inconvenient to keep asking them to wait when it wasn’t check-out time yet.

The hotel was also clean and quiet. The rooms were also clean and stocked. Breakfast was also good. I would definitely recommend this place.

The only things I’d say need a little improvement would be the pool walls need cleaned better, and breakfast was good (pancakes, eggs, etc), but it would be even better if bacon was added. • Richard (6/5): Hilton is playing you... - Quality and plentiful breakfast Room has perfected cheap, small, and synthetic. Hotel is almost identical to a TRU in Miami we had stayed. Room is not a fluke. Bathroom is fine if stocked, which it was not (no facial tissues, just the cover for a box on the counter, nearly out of shampoo, bath gel was some random bottle that does not fit in shower's holder). There is no cheaper TP sold than what is provided. Luggage and sleeping area make an economy hotel seem extravagant. Bed itself felt more like a box spring than a mattress. Acceptably clean, but no more. Curtain controls could be worked but were technically broken. Forget about a reasonable place to put luggage, sit, or maybe eat some carryout, etc. Seems Tru thinks if they provide a normal bathroom, nice amenities and breakfast you will forgive them for the room itself. Didn’t work on us.

Perfect location for our stay, easy to get on the NY State thruway (route 90) to get to downtown Buffalo and further east towards Genesee County. Didn't use the pool or gym but both looked very modern and well maintained.

I was really impressed by the addition community space and a large fitness center. The staff and environment were very welcoming and the breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at a hotel. The only thing I didn’t like was that there wasn’t a microwave in the room but there was one accessible in the lobby.

Definitely could have been cleaner but wasn’t disgusting. Most upsetting thing was my car was keyed in the parking lot and apparently no cameras were able to catch it even though I was parked next to the building.

• migueljF5117FM (10/5): Great Stay with Standout Service and Breakfast 🍳 - I stay at Tru by Hilton properties several times a month, and this was my first time at the Williamsville/Buffalo Airport location. Like most Tru hotels, the rooms aren’t huge, but they’re always functional, clean, and perfect for short business stays. The bathrooms here are spacious with refreshing amenities—I’ve always been a fan of their lemon-scented products. Check-in was quick and friendly. A gentleman wearing a Buffalo Bills hat named Curtis really stood out—super upbeat, kind, and welcoming after a long day. His energy set a great tone for the stay. Something unique about this location is that it’s connected to a Home2 Suites, and both share the entrance through the Tru side. It works well and gives a little more of a combined vibe. Breakfast was a highlight. Easily one of the best spreads I’ve had at any Tru. Four different types of eggs, including their signature mini omelets and options to build your own sandwich. Definitely above the standard. Would absolutely stay here again. Great job to the team!
