• Guido Giacomo (9/5): Posto molto tranquillo e accogliente! - Staff molto gentile e sempre pronto ad ogni nostra richiesta! Camera spaziosa e pulita. Colazione e cena buone! Un pò isolata ma con un tuk tuk in 5 minuti è possibile muoversi nella Old Town di Anuradaphura.

• Christine (9/5): Charming and bright manager who looked after us brilliantly and educated us a bit. - The manager and his wife were lovely and helpful. He was interesting to talk to about Sri Lanka’s recent history and current issues. We borrowed bikes and cycled back routes through rice fields to Anuradhapura Buddhist sites. Location was tricky for tuk tuks but it was nice to be away from the smell and noise of the centre. The hotel was the best value we had in 5 weeks and even included a great breakfast. Nothing

We were given guidance on how to cycle from the hotel and round the sacred sites on bikes we borrowed from the hotel. We managed on quiet lanes through rice fields. Slightly awkward location. All the tuk tuk drivers struggled to find us and drop us back though they all managed.

• ANNA (10/5): Very pleasant stay! - The place is in the middle of the nature at 5’ of the main road. The family running it is awesome, very nice and super servicial. A perfect place for stopping and relax, the vibes are too cool. They cook us the dinner what we have ask and the price was good too, no overcharge. The pool is small but enough for chilling after an intense day. Everything was perfect!

The breakfast is great, with fruit, toast, eggs and even a Sri Lankan option. Also the view from our room was amazing! The family who runs this guesthouse are very kind and always willing to help. We enjoyed our stay here. The room we stayed in is quite outdated, with a cracked window, stickers on the wall that are half fallen off and it has a bit of a damp smell in the room. Having said that, it’s not something we necessarily mind, considering what great hospitality, breakfast and price it has.

• Sanne (10/5): Amazing stay! - We loved our stay here at Andorra. The hosts are so friendly and nice and the food was amazing!! I would 100% reccomend this place to anyone visiting Anuradhapura. The location is quiet and right next to the rice fields. We had an upstairs room with a nice big bathroom and shower and the balcony and view were amazing. Well nothing, it is a bit out of the town centre but a tuktuk is always a few minutes away.

The staff attended to all our requests promptly, and the food was tasty and up to a satisfactory standard. The size and condition of the pool were above satisfactory. I would highly recommend staying here if you want a comfortable place during your Anuradhapura pilgrimage. The cleanliness and overall maintenance of the rooms and bathrooms could be improved, although even at their current level, they were acceptable considering the price charged.

Das Zimmer war komfortabel, das Essen gut, es gab einen großen Balkon mit gemütlichen ledersesseln und tollem Blick auf die Reisfelder. Uns wurde ein sehr netter, verlässlicher und sachkundige Fahrer namens Sagara vermittelt, der uns durch anuradhapura fuhr und den wir sehr empfehlen können. Insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt Wunderschöner Swimmingpool, aber direkt vors Haus gequetscht, unmittelbar neben tuktuk Parkplatz.

De locatie is top, het zit in de buurt van de oude stad, maar niet in het drukke centrum, waardoor het een rustige plek is. De hosts zijn super lief en heel behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was erg goed. Ook fijn dat we de ochtend voor vertrek nog even een duikje konden nemen in het zwembad!

Per chi cerca un alloggio economico e accettabile invece può essere una buona opzione. Un po' lontano dal centro, ma con PickMe si trovano facilmente Tuktuk. Il prezzo corretto di un tragitto in Toktuk in centro Anuradhapura è di 500-600 rupie, se chiedono di più rifiutate la corsa....alcune guide allungano il tragitto e chiedono fino a 1500 rupie, un vero furto.

Está alejado del centro pero próximo a la zona arqueológica. Si vas con tu tuk tuk se agradece porque te evitas pasar por todo el tráfico del centro. Con taxi llegas en un momento a cualquier sitio. Desayunos deliciosos y abundantes. Puedes pedir con antelación que te preparen comida, nosotros hicimos una cena y estaba todo riquísimo. También puedes pedir refrescos y cerveza para tomar en el porche. Nosotros sin duda repetiríamos. Relación calidad/precio perfecta. Nada, todo fue genial
• DAVIDE (10/5): Great experience - Our stay at Andorra Tourist Resort was truly memorable. The highlight is definitely the beautiful swimming pool, perfect for relaxing after exploring the area. The managers were simply fantastic — friendly, attentive, and always present in just the right way. Their warm hospitality made us feel at home, and the heartfelt goodbye was moving. The breakfast was excellent, tasty and abundant, and the property’s location made it very easy to reach Anuradhapura quickly. We were traveling by car and appreciated the convenient on-site parking. The rooms were spotless, well kept, and provided with complimentary toiletries in generous supply. A perfectly run resort, highly recommended to anyone visiting the area! Nothing

La piscina es perfecta, limpia...despues de un día andando en Anuradhapura, tomarte una cervecita Lion mientras te bañas...el paraíso. El trato es genial; son muy simpáticos. A quién le guste la naturaleza vá a disfrutar aquí: Tienen una ranita que es casi su mascota, ardillas correteando a tu lado , dos tórtolas haciendo su nido a un metro de nuestra mesa en el desayuno.... Teníamos media pensión, y la cena, aunque era sencilla, pero estaba buenísimo todo. Y es desayuno es perfecto: Fruta muy buena, nosotros con el mango màs rico que he probado en mi vida,, tortilla, una salchicha que picaba un poco y estaba buenísima...... Y es que más no se puede pedir por el precio tan módico que pagamos. Siempre recordaré este rincón tan adorable. Nos gustó todo.

• Annemarieke (9/5): Prima verblijf! - Wij hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf in deze accommodatie. Mijn man en ik hadden een goedkope kamer (en deze is inderdaad erg basic), maar onze dochters hadden een duurdere variant die behoorlijk ruim was en meer comfort bood. Het zwembad was heerlijk; ja, het is aan de kleine kant, maar alle keren hadden wij het zwembad voor ons zelf. De eigenaresse/beheerster kookt heerlijk. Het was heel fijn dat ze een (heerlijk!) take-away-breakfast voor ons maakten toen wij al heel vroeg op pad gingen met onze gids. De eigenaren/uitbaters zijn het beste wat deze accommodatie te bieden heeft: ze zijn heel behulpzaam, attent, meehelpend en ook vooral gezellig! De 'goedkope' kamer is klein, maar vooral de douche is onhandig ingericht (alles nat ná het douchen). Voor de twee nachten die we er waren, was het goed genoeg.

• Arthur (7/5): Voor 1 nacht prima en heel goedkoop. Met vriendelijke eigenaren. - De eigenaars waren super vriendelijk en behulpzaam, het zwembad is fijn maar erg klein. We hadden inclusief dinner en kregen vers gemaakt kottu. We zijn met gids Siri en fietsen op pad geweest. Wat een mooie leerzame ervaring hij kon ons waanzinnig veel vertellen over het boeddhisme en heeft zelfs met ons gebeden. Het is eigenlijk meer een homestay dan een hotel. Wij vonden de kamer erg klein en gehorig. Je zit wel buiten het centrum wat dan weer wat rustiger is.
• Claire (9/5): Would recommend to everyone! - The staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating; they helped us organise a tuktuk tour around the sites and made delicious breakfasts for us every morning and dinner on request. Even when I ordered a coke and they were all out, they went all the way to the store just to get me one. We really appreciated their service. The pool was well maintained and a great way to cool down during the hot weather and we had a beautiful view of the paddy fields from our balcony. Just a heads up - they don’t have a menu so sometimes it’s just whatever is easiest

• GLORIA (10/5): - Habitaciones cómodas y limpias. Personal muy amable. Piscina limpia y refrescante después de un día de calor viendo templos. Hay algunos restaurantes sencillos cerca.
• Tom (9/5): Geweldige eigenaren verdienen een vol hotel! - Gewoon een goed hotel zoals je verwacht in Sri Lanka. De eigenaren zijn ook super leuk. De enige eigenaren met hele goede humor die we op onze reis zijn tegengekomen! We hebben genoten hier!!! Het is een beetje ver van het centrum, maar voor ons was dat geen probleem, lekker rustig!
• Uxía (10/5): Una estancia ideal - La relación calidad precio es muy acorde. Además el trato de las personas fue muy agradable desde el principio, permitiéndonos alojarnos antes de lo previsto
• Bianca (9/5): Muy bien - El alojamiento está bien, muy limpio y cómodo para dormir. La familia es un encanto, la cena ha sido muy rica y hasta que compartieron recetas con nosotros de platos que nos habían encantado. La piscina es un plus sobre todo para los niños.
• Audrey (7/5): Peut convenir pour 1 nuit - La petite piscine est très agréable et les repas et petit déjeuners bons. Le personnel reste agréable L'emplacement est vraiment excentré difficile d'accès et l'environnement est très bruyant
• Laetitia (9/5): Très bien - La sympathie du propriétaire, la chambre petite mais adaptée, la piscine très agréable, le repas et le petit déjeuner Un frigo dans la chambre serait idéal
• Laure (9/5): - Accueil très chaleureux de nos hôtes. L'entrée est au calme, la chambre familiale n'est pas immense mais confortable. Le rapport qualité prix est excellent. Nous avons eu un très bon petit déjeuner et un repas le soir. Piscine agréable. Je recommande !!!!
• Martina Anna Catharina (9/5): Rustige plek met heerlijk zwembad en dichtbij de tempels - Hele vriendelijke mensen en echt een fijne plek om te verblijven. Rustige locatie en heerlijk zwembad waar de aapjes op bezoek komen. Prima kamer met balkon (niets buiten laten liggen want dan nemen de apen het mee). Ongeveer 3 km buiten het centrum maar met tuktuk ben je er zo. Dichtbij de tempelruines. We mochten gratis fietsen gebruiken. Leuk terras waar je ontbijt krijgt. Echt top voor de kleine prijs die je betaalt. Badkamer een beetje gedateerd maar dat is op veel plekken zo.

• Elke (10/5): Lovely people, great stay - Very nice and friendly people, always ready to help. Lovely, comfortable rooms, great continental breakfast, Sri Lankan breakfast on request, nice dinner. Good airco.
• Rishan (10/5): The stay at Andorra was an amazing. It was calm and home feeling. Staff was really good and friendly - The property was amazing, and it was a really good experience overall. All the facilities provided as expected during our stay. Property was clean. It was convenient for us also to access all the places that we wanted to visit. In overall I can recommend Andorra for all the guests who are looking for home feeling. If anyone looking for a dedicated parking, there is a limited one. But this does not matter a lot to the guests.
• Ondřej Böhm (10/5): - The staff was very friendly. They prepared dinner for us on arrival so we didn't have to go into town and advised us on many things, such as how to get to certain sights, what time of day to go there, etc. The room was clean and pleasant. Breakfast was plentiful. We spent our first night here after arriving and it was a nice introduction to Sri Lanka. The accommodation is located outside of Anuradhapura, you have to take tuktuk every time you want to go somewhere, try Pick me at the main road.

• Caroline (9/5): Leuke plek met lieve mensen en goede hulp voor een gids. - Wat een superlieve eigenaren, zo ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Schone familiekamer met fijn matras. Wij waren erg laat met het informeren naar een gids die ons zou kunnen vertellen over het Boeddhisme en de bezienswaardigheden in Anaradhapura. De eigenaar vertelde ons over een aantal plaatsen die voor ons gezin met twee pubers interessant zouden kunnen zijn (het deel zonder tickets). De eigenaresse begon te bellen voor een goed Engels sprekende gids. En zo regelden ze voor de volgende ochtend gids Siri met twee tuktuks. Een hele leuke sympathieke jonge vent die ons meenam op een toffe tour. We hebben veel geleerd en Siri was goed te verstaan, ook voor onze pubers. Het zwembadje is heerlijk om even af te koelen na een halve dag hitte in de stad. Er is parkeerplaats voor je eigen huur-tuktuk.
• Floor (8/5): - Prettige plek buiten de stad, fietsen gehuurd en de gastheer heeft ons verteld hoe we langs een aantal tempels konden fietsen. We hebben ook een avond heerlijk gegeten.
• Juulke (7/5): - Schone kamer, prima ligging, prima faciliteiten. Je kunt voor prima prijs fietsen huren. Fijne bedden en kussens! Reinigingsmiddel zwembad zorgt voor uitslag bij kinderen, zwemmen hierdoor beperkt mogelijk. Jeuk, vlekken, pijn bij wondjes.
• Eva (10/5): - Velmi milí majitelé, výborná večeře i snídaně. Pokoje čisté.
• Mischa (8/5): Fijn verblijf - Op een fijne plek, dicht bij de bezienswaardigheden. De kamers waren wat klein maar niet storend
• A. (9/5): Heerlijk guesthouse! - Heerlijk zwembad, erg lief en vrolijk beheerdersgezin. Uitgebreid ontbijt. Rustige locatie, geen blaffende honden toeterend verkeer. De weg ernaartoe is onverhard en had diepe kuilen. We kregen de douche niet goed. Óf koud, óf warm.
• yvonne (7/5): Zeer gastvrij. Geweldig gegeten - Zeer vriendelijk. Ontbijt en 2x Diner was fantastisch!!! Kleine kamer.
• delphine (8/5): - Accueil chaleureux, petit déj et repas excellents. La piscine est vraiment appréciable après les visites. Manque de rangement pour poser ses affaires

• Manda (9/5): Heerlijke plek, super vriendelijke medewerkers. - Heel vriendelijke medewerkers. Flexibel met vroege aankomst. Heerlijk zwembad.
• Charlotte (8/5): - Het personeel, zo lief en vriendelijk en goed Engels sprekend. Ontbijt was heerlijk! Zwembad chil! Ze regelden voor ons een tuktuk met gids om langs de tempels te gaan, heel fijn! Kamer had veel kleine miertjes, schimmel? vlekjes, wat gedateerd. Bed was klein,lag wel prima,maar de helft zakte nogal door. In de directe omgeving is geen restaurant of grotere supermarkt te vinden.
