• Sharni (9/5): Relaxing. - The apartment was roomy, modern and very clean. It even had a private fenced grassy courtyard for kids to run around in. Thr front deck had a BBQ and outdoor furniture. It was an easy flat walk to town and the beach. Just the view over the rear of shops with garbage bins, but that could be overlooked for the price because the views to the ranges in the west had stunning sunsets.

Stocked full of everything you need and things you didn’t. Washing powder, dishwashing cubes, towels and enough coffee pods to last 2 people more than 2 coffees a day.

• Philip (7/5): Great facilities spoilt however by a noisy neighbour - Excellent facilities and comfortable to stay in Daytime noise from an immediate neighbour with a workshop adjacent to the car parking area. The constant jarring noise of drilling into metal and a circular saw impacted on what should have been a tranquil stay. Hence why a low score for location.

Inconsiderate noisy neighbour - Excellent facilities, comfortable and clean An adjacent neighbour adjoining the car park was using his workshop to constantly drill into metal / using a circular saw. This did not make for a peaceful or tranquil stay. Hence a low score for location

• Blair (10/5): - This is a great apartment. It is modern, spacious, super clean, and well equipped. It is within easy walking distance of grocery stores and restaurants. The neighborhood was very quiet, and I felt very safe. I highly recommend this place.

• Mei Mei (10/5): Perfect stay in fabulous Bicheno - Everything. It looks better than the photos. We have views of both the mountain and the sea. It has both indoor and outdoor patios. All rooms are very clean and comfortable. Has all the required amenities as well and just a very short walking distance away is a restaurant and shops including one where you can book your penguin tours. Scenic lookouts are also nearby. Wish we have stayed at least another night cos so much to explore In Bicheno. Nothing.

• Liam (10/5): Clean modern apartment with a great kitchen - Very clean and very modern. The kitchen was so well equipped that we ended cooking both nights we stayed. There’s also a laundry machine, so we managed to catch up on some washing. The attention to detail is very high here, and it made for a great stay. Bicheno is pretty small, so it’s close to everything too 😄

• Bernieflyer (10/5): Just a very pleasant stay. Well maintained units and grounds. Very nice hosts who were not intrusive - Close to all town facilities, shops, bars etc. One of the very best holiday apartments we have stayed in. Modern, comfortable, well fitted out and very clean. Kitchen had evrything we needed. Wifi included but Bicheno is currently on a wireless internet so service was patchy but no fault of the hosts, The town is in the throws of an optical fiber upggrade which sort this out. A hardware shop behind the units has a container fridge running during the day and early night which was noisy but the well insulated apartments were not effected.

• Susy (8/5): - Value for money. All areas are spacious and clean. The set out is thoughtful for eg there is a cold jar of water, some chocolate and coffee capsules for your enjoyment at the stay. Downside is too close to the next door unit so there’s inconvenience and privacy concerns. pillows are flat and mattress is soft so may not be good for your back.

The owner of the apartments has been trying to get this distraction toned down. Our unit was double glazed so you couldn't hear it that much inside. The owner Karen was very welcoming and helpful.

• Matthew (10/5): Very clean, spacious and wonderfully located! - Wet clean and spacious unit equipped with everything for a short stay. Unit 1 had a tidy secure backyard which was great for kids. The front deck was spacious and relaxing. The generator running cooling or a fridge of some sort at adjacent property (Bicheno Brewery?) was annoying when outside. Not a deal breaker though as couldn’t be heard inside property.

• Claire (9/5): Perfect easy stay! - Very clean. So close to everything, could walk very easily. Beautiful views to mountain and harbour. Would stay again. Clear communication with easy check in instructions and instructions on where to park. The only negative was there was a business next door that had a generator that was a little bit intrusive and meant that we didn’t sit out on the veranda (which was very lovely). Not sure if this was a one of thing though.

The accommodation was modern, spacious, and very well-furnished – we especially loved the large bathroom, which was a nice touch. Karen and Michael, along with the cleaners Janice and Christine, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They even left a lovely personalized letter for us, which added such a warm and thoughtful touch to our stay. Karen was extremely responsive to any questions we had, and the check-in and check-out process was seamless. We also appreciated the hosts’ recommendations for local businesses and diners, which helped us explore the best of Bicheno. The parking space was spacious and convenient, making it easy to come and go as we explored the area. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we highly recommend Apartments on Fraser for anyone visiting Tasmania’s East Coast. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

• Leo (10/5): A home away from home - Absolutely brilliant self-contained unit. Well stocked with crockery, cutlery, utensils, storage containers and appliances. Lots of little touches like separate bath and beach towels and complimentary chocolates Fresh milk in the fridge and basics such as cooking oil also supplied. So much stuff in the kitchen that there was literally no room for groceries. Sheltered verandah with outdoor setting and electric bbq. Plenty of room in the waste bins for a long stay. The only ‘faults’ were a lack of pantry space and no dryer in the laundry. As a solo traveller only staying three nights these were no great issues. Definitely recommended.
