• David (8/5): Très bel accueil pour découvrir Koh Lipe - Idéal
• Bahya (4/5): Hôtel bien situé mais chambre insalubre - Bungalow vieillot à rénover d’urgence. Salle de bains catastrophique. Pas de chasse d’eau et ouverture sur l’extérieur donc animaux et moustiques dans la salle de bains.Pas de climatisation mais un ventilateur. Humidité et champignons sur les murs. Je suis asthmatique et c’était compliqué. Pas de frigo dans la chambre, j’ai du jeté mes médicaments a garder au froid. D’autre part, la 2ème nuit, nous sommes rentrés à 23h et la clé de la chambre s’est cassé dans la serrure. Aucune astreinte disponible à la réception, les veilleurs de nuit ont tout tenté mais rien à faire. Au bout d’1h15, nous avons été relogé dans un autre bungalow de meilleur qualité mais sans nos affaires personnelles. Le matin, un agent a démonté la serrure et nous avons pu avoir accès à notre chambre. Cependant, on s’est vu devoir payer la réparation de la serrure par la réception. Je précise que la clé était vieille et déformé par le temps. Par ailleurs, nous avons été logé dans un bungalow qui ne correspondait pas à notre réservation. La 2ème nuit dans le bungalow d’urgence correspondait à la photo de notre réservation. L’hôtel nous a t’il mal logé ? Dans un bungalow bas de gamme et insalubre ?
• Søs (6/5): Middelmådig oplevelse - Et fint hotel til pengene taget i betragtning af priser på andre hoteller i området. Dog skal man være opmærksom på at det er en MEGET gammel aircondition, som knap virker. Generelt var værelset lidt under middel men placeringen findes ikke bedre ift. nem transport til og fra båden og samtidig lige ned til stranden for enden af øens “hovedgade”.

• Jürg (4/5): - Lage perfekt und grosse Auswahl am leckeren Frühstücksbuffet. Zimmer für 3 erwachsene Personen bezahlt, aber das 3. Bett war nur eine sehr dünne Bodenmatratze. Unmöglich darauf zu schlafen, eine Zumutung für den bezahlten Preis!

• Cindy (6/5): - The room we had was not only made of paper, but the walls were bubbling and needed repair. Room was musty, and check in is a nightmare. You may want to think about, precheck so everyone doesng need to do it at once. Breakfast, location and pool are definitely the high points. Due to Chinese New Year it was so hard to find a place, but have definitely stayed at cheaper and better on the island. But location is Great!

• JEAN-MARC (2/5): Si j'avais su - Ménage pas fait, serviette non remplacée, propreté de la salle de bain et de l'ensemble limite ..couloir d'accès très sale , escalier et entrée également. pas de réfrigérateur et coffre-fort dans les chambres ...ensemble plus que médiocre. Pour moi, à fuir.
• Julie (10/5): Hôtel bien mais rapport qualité/prix pas terrible. - Hôtel bien, c'est sûr c'est très touristique et pas donné pour les prestations ( notamment les salles d'eau très mal agencé,mais rare hôtel avec la clim et l'eau chaude ! Beaucoup de choix au petit dej. L' île en revanche, très déçue, beaucoup de marijuana en vente et fumée sur place, trop de monde, trop construite...bref si vous aimez kho phi phi vous allez adorer, sinon, passez votre chemin. A 2h aller de koh Muk (ou koh mook) en bateau ou vous ne serez pas malade seulement si la mer est calme (aller horrible, retour ok en ce qui me concerne) ça ne vaut pas le coup. Rester sur la première beaucoup plus authentique et sympa...

Chambres dans les bâtiments très bien, propre , literie très bien Il manque de rangement dans la salle de bain, même pas une étagère ! Petit déjeuner on va dire correct!! Beaucoup de plats asiatiques. Bémol 2 Machines à café domestique et non professionnel pour un nombres de touristes importants et qu il faut remplir, rincer etc tous les 6 voir 7 utilisations!! Une file d attente tous les matins, les tables ne sont pas débarrassées par le personnel et les assiettes s empilent !!du bruit et un manque de savoir vivre de ces touristes chinois qui la grande majorité non aucun respect des autres et laissent tout dans des états lamentable. Sinon hôtel très correct, l accueil est très réactif .
• Sylwester (6/5): ove-priced. - We stayed at this resort for four nights—three in a Villa and one in a basic room. While the Villa was comfortable and enjoyable, the basic room didn’t quite meet our expectations for the price. It felt overpriced, likely due to Koh Lipe’s popularity. If you’re planning to visit, I’d highly recommend booking in advance to get better value for your stay. Overall, the resort is decent, but pricing could be more reasonable.

• Sylwester (8/5): Over all OK - Many reviews mention that the breakfast isn’t great—well, it’s free! If you don’t like it, you’re always free to pay for something elsewhere. The rooms are basic, so don’t expect luxury. High prices for what you are getting are understandable, as this is a high demand island.

• Jhonna (10/5): Trevligt hotell med bra läge. - Trevligt hotell med placering vid stranden. Otrolig hjälp vid ankomst och avresa. De mötte upp oss vid båten och hjälpte ankommande gäster med väskorna via en vagn upp till hotellet vidare till rummet när vi checkat in. Samma sak vid avresa. Hjälp från rummet till båten med väskorna.

• John (8/5): Recommend 👍 - Nice hotel for a good price. Good breakfast in comparison to other hotels in Thailand. Reception is only open certain hours which is a minus though.
• Verified traveler (2/5): FUYEZ !! - Un enfer !! J’avais vu des commentaires négatifs et je me disais que ça ne devais pas être si terrible. Rien ne va dans cet hôtel il devrait fermer. Nous avions réserver pour trois personnes, un « lit » supplémentaire a été ajouté il s’agissait en réalité d’un espèce de futon pour chien. La réception m’a proposé comme alternative de rajouter un autre « matelas » par dessus ou bien de réserver une autre chambre au tarif plein pot. Les prises électriques se décollent du mur ce qui rend l’accès extrêmement dangereux. Aucun prise accessible pour brancher un téléphone. Le wifi « gratuit » est payant. Il n’y a pas de chasses d’eau. Des trous dans les murs sont rebouchés par du papier toilette. Les rideaux sont dégoûtant je doute qu’ils aient été lavés un jour. J’ai passé la nuit à sentir de la poussière et à avoir l’impression que des bêtes me montaient dessus. Les lumières sentent le brûlé lorsqu’on les allumes. Il y a un « dressing » mais pas de cintre et l’évacuation d’eau se fait par cette pièce, il ne faut rien mettre au sol. Les chambres n’ont pas de votre sur les fenêtres ce qui fait que l’on entend tout de l’extérieur et le staff hurle devant les fenêtres dès le petit matin. La qualité du petit déjeuner équivaut la chambre. Idem quand a l’amabilité du personnel. J’aurai préféré dormir en auberge de jeunesse pour le même prix. Un hôtel terrible !
• anna (8/5): - Gutes Frühstücksbufett, Zimmer sind einfach aber bequeme Betten. Kein Transfer notwendig direkt am Fährhafen.
• Raffaela (6/5): - Die Lage ist einerseits super, da das Hotel direkt am Pier liegt und direkt in der Walking Street. (Lautstärke war von unserem Zimmer kein Problem und ab 1 Uhr ist es leise) Und andererseits sind die Hotels oben an der Küste schöner gelegen. Da man leider keine Roller mieten kann, ist der Fußweg sehr weit zu den schönen Stränden. Wenn man sich nicht jeden Tag zum putzen anmeldet bekommt man weder Toilettenpapier noch Wasser. Pool war sauber. Wir hatten das Pech das leider größere Familien da waren die sich sehr respektlos verhalten haben, sehr laut und die Kinder haben mit Steinen im Pool geworfen. Das Frühstück haben wir leider auch nicht gut vertragen… für Kaffee steht man sehr lange an. Sauberkeit im Zimmer war nicht schlimm aber auch nicht gut. Türe zwischen Toilette und Wäscheraum ging die ganze Nacht bei jedem Windstoß auf Dadurch viele Stechmücken … Zimmer sehr klein, man konnte die Koffer nirgendwo offen hinstellen. Freundlichkeit der Angestellten würde ich auch eher als mittelmäßig bewerten. Ab 7 Uhr morgens ist die Nachtruhe vorbei, da die Angestellten sehr laut mit Walkie Talkies rumschreien. Wir würden nächstes mal in ein anderes Hotel gehen … wir waren trotzdem sehr froh und dankbar das wir das Hotel spontan buchen konnten und das es einen Pool hatte

• Mr (6/5): Spend a bit more, and stay somewhere better! - Spend the extra money and stay somewhere better. This hotel has a great location but nothing else. Unhelpful reception, pool is the bare minimum and for some reason not built on the beach, complimentary breakfast is so bad, we skipped the last 2 of 4 days.

• Gary (6/5): Varin - At check it was so nice to be greeted by very happy staff special praise to Pum and Dada, they were amazing. Now for the downside there were only 3 umbrellas around the pool area 2 of which were broken so very little or no shade. The sunbeds didn't have cushions on them they were so hard it was difficult to lay on them for more than 5 minutes. A lack of rubbish bins around the pool, at times trash was left anywhere as there was no bins. Finally my biggest concern. The coffee machine in the restaurant of which there is only 1 is no better than useless. Everyday there are people queuing just for a cup of coffee. To finish would I stay at the Varin Resort again, Yes, definitely. Brilliant location and amazing staff.
• Maik (4/5): Schlecht - Die wissen genau was auf Lipe los ist und nutzen den Vorteil. Viel zu teuer für das was geboten wird. Wer sich entschließt nach Koh Lipe zu reisen, sollte in der Hauptsaison rechtzeitig buchen. Unfreundliches Empfangspersonal und die Staffs waren auch nicht gerade sehr empfänglich für Probleme . 500,- Bath Kaution für den Schlüssel ?! Wer nimmt den mit ? Am besten war aber der Spruch des Tages / siehe Foto ! Nie wieder ! Walkingstreet 1 min entfernt, Lautstärke nachts okay . Quasi nix gehört !

• Verified traveler (2/5): Disorganised - The hotel is very disorganized. Rooms not available on time. I had to queue for over an hour at the front desk to check in. The site is neglected. Rubbish and building material lying around the resort. Not good.
• Cassie (6/5): - Room was a good size and clean enough but the grounds were dirty and scruffy. Staff were so unfriendly and u helpful. Checkin took 45 minutes. One person had an issue with his room an the receptionist pretended she didnt understand English even though she had just been having a perfect convention with another person in English 2 minutes priorr to his complaint. The location is great but i th island is that small it doesnt matter whwreyou stay pool also only has 8 beds even though it has 100s of guests so unless u get there at 8am there is no piint using it

Ontbijt was meer dan slecht; 1 koffie apparaat dus minimaal 20min wachten voor koffie, het personeel doet zijn best maar kan het niet bijbenen met alles bijvullen. Kwaliteit van eten was laag. We waren voorbereid door andere reviews op onaardig personeel maar dat viel best mee!
• Christopher (8/5): Worth the money - Convenient - at the beach, steps away from the ferry dock. Great breaskfast options except for the really long queue for coffee as yhere is only one coffee machine for real coffee asidde from instant. Next to the walking - all in all good place.

• Josephine (6/5): Bra läge, stor pool - Fräsch rum, skön säng, fin stor pool. Ligger precis vid pattayabeach dit man kommer med båten och precis vid walking street men ej högljutt, bra läge! Gott med thai pannkakor (Roti) till frukost. Fanns mycket att välja på till frukost (thai och västerländskt) men tråkig miljö, skolmatsalskänsla med hårdplasttallrikar och muggar. Jättelångsamt kaffemaskin (fanns bara 1), var alltid kö dit, jag valde pulverkaffe.. Snålt att man måste betala 50 baht per timme för lekrummet. Såg ina andra än vi som var där och lekte under dessa 5 dagar. Lite skräpigt på området (skräp som låg kvar under alla 5 dagar vi var där). Mycket tog lång tid, tex när jag skulle betala för lekrummet så tog det lång tid att få växeln (betalade 100 baht), lång tid att checka ut. Som helhet en bra vistelse men finns saker som de kan jobba på.
• Ilmari (4/5): Alusta loppuun melko karmea kokemus - Halusimmekin viettää suunniteltua useamman päivän kauniila Koh Lipellä, joten varasimme hintahaitariimme osuvan hotellin aivan piikkipaikalta Pattaya beachiltä. Saavuttuamme hotelliin, karu totuus majapaikasta lävähti silmille. Palvelu respassa oli karmeaa, sekä hotellin aula-alue oli suoraan sanoen painajaismainen😅 Yllätykseksemme joku aulapojista viittoi meidät golf-kärryyn, joka kurvasi meidät läpi kasaan kuivuneen ja likaisen puutarha-alueen perimmäiseen nurkkaan nuhjuisen pienkerrostalon pihaan, jonka pihapiiri oli kuin rakennustyömaa ilman rakentamista. Kaveri saattoi meidät ylempään kerrokseen muovituolirykelmän läpi. Huoneemme oli kuitenkin siisti, ja ilmeisesti äskettäin ehkä remontoitu. Kylpyhuone ei ollut, mutta tarvittavat asiat eli suihku, wc ja käsienpesuallas löytyivät. Huoneessa ei ollut jääkaappia eikä roskakoria. Sängyn lakanat olivat sänkyyn liian pienet. Ilmastointi huoneessa oli, ja se toimikin moitteetta. Aamupala oli kuin hankalasta komediasta. Kiitos kun saatiin käydä, jatkossa menemme kuitenkin muualle😁

• Verified traveler (8/5): Hyggeligt familie sted - God placering af hotellet. Fint med pool af en Ok størrelse, lige ved stranden. Fine små hytter med hvad man skal bruge. Hyggeligt stille hotel område. Der mangler (der er ingen) sol stole på stranden, og parasoller ved poolen.

• Rury (8/5): - This is our third time or maybe fourth time at Varin Beach Resort we always come back here for the good price, excellent location, friendly and helpful staff. Areas of improvement is the food which they lack a bit of western dishes, they do try but still a long way to go, but they're super friendly so it goes a long way in making us feel welcome. We will definitely come back to Varin Beach hopefully end of the year

Завтраки на любой вкус- поострее, диетические, сладости и арбуз с ананасом. Бассейн просто шикарный. Не хватало холодильника. Нет wi-fi в номере. В обшем и целом- рекомендуем

• Verified traveler (2/5): Dålig säkerhet - Vi hade under vår vistelse inbrott i vår bungalow med uppenbar avsikt att skrämma oss vilket tyvärr förändrade vår syn på servicenivån. Vi bad om kontakt med ansvarig på plats för att få hjälp och även att få kontakt med hotellansvarig, men personalen visade ingen sympati utan hanterade situationen med att skratta åt oss och sedan gömma sig i personalutrymme bakom receptionen. Det fanns vid tillfället andra gäster som även dem behövde hjälp av personal men som också blev ignorerade. Detta förstörde tyvärr hela upplevelsen för resorten, jag rekommenderar verkligen inte att boka där. Uppenbar brist på säkerhet och extremt dålig kundservice.
• DO YEON (6/5): 실망스러운 바린 비치 리조트 방갈로 - 방갈로 타입은 정말 비추천입니다. 특히 에어컨 없는 방갈로는 마치 사우나실과 같으며 이런 방을 판다는것 자체가 호텔에 실망하게 만든 원인입니다. 꼬리뻬 체크인/아웃 카운터와 가까운점과 워킹스트리트와 인접해 있다는 것 외에는 전혀 메리트가 없으며 추가 요금을 내고 옮긴 방은 냉장고가 없어서 냉장고가 있는 방으로 옮기기 위해 2번이나 요금을 지불해야 했습니다. 방에 놓여있는 물병중 하나는 오픈이 되어있는 상태였으며 숙박기간동안 샤워타월은 말하지 않는한 바꿔주지 않는점과 주변에서 풍기는 정화조 냄새가 머리를 아프게 했습니다. 꼬리뻬에 간다면 재방문의 의사는 없습니다.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Trivdes bra här! - Vi bodde i ett hotellrum (och inte bungalow) vilket vi tyckte var bra. Helt ok fräscht, tyst och bra läge på ön precis vid Walking street och väldigt nära där båten släpper av dig. Minus för personalen i receptionen. Vi fick stå i kö i över en timme för att checka in då det var strul med ett sällskap längst fram i kön. En serviceinriktad personal skulle ju ha tagit detta sällskap åt sidan och hjälpt oss andra men så var inte fallet och deras attityd kan helt klart förbättras liksom deras engelskakunskaper.
• Zackary (2/5): Not recommended - The resort itself is fine - good location, nice pool area, nice lobby. But the "deluxe" room was horribly uncomfortable, with the hardest bed I have slept on in Asia. I ended the trip here halfway through and moved to another hotel - that is how bad the bed was. Three nights of sleeping on that "mattress" and my neck hurt so badly I could barely move. When I checked out 3 days early, the staff did not even bother to ask why. The resort has some nice amenities, but the beds in their deluxe rooms are so bad that it ruined the experience.
• Henrik (8/5): Nice place on beach and Walking Street - I recommend you choose Air Twin Cottage. I stayed in Air Standard Room. All nice and clean but you will like an air conditioned cottage better with your own porch.
• Frances (6/5): Okay stay given the entire island is expensive - Positives: - room looked like pictures for most part - big enough room - pool area was nice - big breakfast selection Negatives: - check in and out was incredibly slow - staff seemed slightly rude and it wasn’t a language barrier - when we arrived at the hotel before we were even allowed to step in to the lobby we were hassled by a staff member wanting to see our email to confirm booking before. - pool area could have had some more sun loungers given the size of the resort
• Rolf (8/5): Bra fräscht boende - Fräsct o prisvärt boende precis vid Pattaya beasch Omständig in o utcheckning , engelskan kunde vara bättre. Wi-fi bra. Mysfaktor 0 vad gäller frukostmatsalen, kändes som slamrig skolmatsal, frukost ok men bestod till 80% av asiatisk mat.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Varin pattaya beach bungalow con ventilatore - Koh lipe è un piccolo paradiso per i fondali e le spiagge. Il varin è direttamente sulla spiaggia ha una piscina e offre la colazione. È molto grande e vi sono molte tipologie di camere. La scorsa volta ho scelto una camera con aria condizionata e volevo provarne una piu economica. La stanza con ventilatore è spaziosa cosi come il suo bagno. Il letto è comodo. I problemi nascono quando fa molto caldo...se non si sopporta è praticamente impossibile stare in camera. In piu il ventilatore è sul tetto e lo si può controllare solo in intensità e non in direzione e solo dal muro. In piu quando si fa la doccia il bagno si allaga tutto visto che la doccia è da un capo del bagno e la pendenza fa andare l'acqua dappertutto. In ultimo non cè lo sciacquone...si si...avete capito bene. Bisogna buttare l'acqua nella tazza dopo aver espletato i propri bisogni...totalmente anti igenico... Non cè il frigo e la tv è a tubo catodico, ma questo lo sapevo. Se sopportate tutto questo è la camera per voi.

Also, breakfast only until 10 is not good for people who like to sleep long and checkout until 10 is also too early in my opinion. Room was good, staff friendly and helpful and the pool is also nice.
• Jhonna (8/5): Smidigt besök o boende. - Låg nära/på stranden. Hjälpsam personal men många saknade ett leende och såg istället ut som man störde dem. Bra rum, frukosten okej, enkelt och smidigt.
• MOHD HAFIZ (8/5): Comfort - Very nice hotel. Location is very near the Walking Street. However, there's no kettle at the room. So if you travel with baby, is not really recommended. Or perhaps need to choose other type of room instead. Overall its a comfort stay.
• George (8/5): Price over rated for what you get at the resort. - The resort looks new but the inside of the rooms is not new and bed was not comfortable and looks old for a new place . Aircon was not working well , also looks like an old one and wifi is not working in the rooms , only at the reception.
• Verified traveler (4/5): - 처음에 모르고 선풍기방으로 선택했는데 선풍기방은 늘 창문을 열어놓아서인지 방안에 엄청난 먼지가 쌓여 있어서 결국은 에어컨방으로 바꾸었음 화장실이 별로 깨끗하진 않았지만 그냥 잘 만했음 모기가 엄청 많으므로 들어가기 전에 반드시 약 뿌려달라고하고 뿌리고 한 참 후에 들어가야 잠을 잘 수 있음 직원이 끝까지 친절하게 우리의 불만에 대응을 잘 해줌 하지만 선택의 여지없이 돈을 5백밧을 더 내야만 에어컨방으로 옮길수있었음 선착장과 나이트마켓이 가까운것이 제일 맘에 듬

Mais franchement il est vraiment moyen. C'est rustique mais pour quelques jours c'est acceptable mais ne pas s'attendre a un bungalow Deluxe comme son nom devrait l'indiquer Le plus : le piscine avec les tobaggans pour les enfants et petit déjeuner copieux Proche de la walking street et du débarcadère (car rouler avec sa valise dans le sable c'est pas le top) Mais sinon bon rapport qualite/prix pour moyen budget et quelques jours uniquement Acces Wifi pas evident

Lugnt område trots att det ligger precis i närheten av pattaya beach och walking street . Frukosten lämnar dock en hel del att önska . Stort urval om man gillar asiatisk frukost. Ingen trevlig frukostmijö lite skolmatsal över det hela . Det kalla var inte riktigt kallt och det som borde vara varmt hade ingen värme av något slag ... men det är bara frukosten som jag har något negativt att säga och man har ju alltid möjligheten att äta frukost någon annanstans . Annars supernöjd

• Bethany (8/5): Budget wonderful Bungalow with excellent pool! - I booked the Deluxe Villa, but most important to me is location so I’ll start with that. It has the perfect location for you to get anywhere. The island isn’t big, but a 15 min walk to walking street can get annoying after a few days. This hotel is right next to immigration when you get to the island, and the first resort on the beach next to the beginning of walking street. The Deluxe Villa has AC, a cute setup out front. Table and chairs, towel rack etc. the showers are a bit dated but they are just fine for a bungalow! The pool is excellent and nice change from salt water if you like that. Also open at night! There are many kids during the day, but no noise at night. The only thing is I felt uncomfortable at check in, every time I tried to speak with them they would say something to each other and start laughing. After bwing in Thailand for a month, I realize this is the way when they don’t understand you, and let’s be honest I should know their language if I’m in their country.... but it would have been nice to have some way to communicate. Google translate didn’t work for them either.

• Thomas (8/5): Koh Lipe - I have stayed here before. It’s a great location right on the beach, but a bit of a walk if in a back building. It’s a large complex. If you want a minibar you need to pay a 300 baht upgrade so cold beer off property. There’s still only Thai channels on TV, but with the beautiful beach who cares.

• Wayne (8/5): - Great location, right on the beach and next to walking street. Room was in new standard block at rear and was large, bright, clean and quiet. Strangely, especially for location, no bar or restaurant ! Only negatives are no tea/coffee making in room or black out blinds which were both advertised on website and no sunbeds on beach, which all other hotels of this type had. Would stop here again though because of location and price.

Staff nice and friendly especially a beautiful young girl sorry I forgot name but have SUN IN HER NAME. She should be the teacher for reception as she greeted with true Thai hospitality.

The room is clean, comfy and suitable for couples but not for family since the space is too small. We enjoyed our 2 nights at there. Breakfast is served with delicious local food. Overall, we are very happy with the location and services.
• WENG KOOI (4/5): Lousy hotel in koh lipe - No coffee at all in room.. how to survive? Just a few cents coffee packs cant give! No way named a hotel.. breakiees was like market.. never feel like going back.
• Amber (6/5): OK Hotel, but nothing special - This is a very basic, bare bones hotel. I wouldn't bother waking up for breakfast. It's really not very good unless you just want watermelon and pineapple and nescafe. I originally had a bunglaow with a fan but the bathroom smelled pretty bad, it's a bucket flush toilet which is no big deal but I opted to upgrade to a room with AC. The design of the mid range bunglaows is pretty terrible. Random furniture, the dresser was a werid entertainment center with drawers that didn't really open and a closet that was so small I couldn't fit my suitcase inside. No Side tables next to the bed. So i asked to upgrade a switch to a premium King Bungalow which was much better but still very basic. The location is super convenient to the walking street. The pool was nice and clean. I had to work and Wifi in the rooms (All 3 that I had during my 5 night stay) was hit or miss. You really had to go to the lobby if you needed a decent connection. All in all it was OK... not great but mediocre so if you get the room on sale, I'd say decent value.
