Guest Reviews
- Sarah (10/5): - Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Lorraine the owner is lovely and welcoming. Breakfast bought to our room which was lovely. Highly recommend a stay here.
- Jaylene (10/5): - Beautiful property, lovingly kept up. Host was informative and helpful. We found plenty to do and see within walking distance.
- Thomas (10/5): - Loved, loved, loved this place! It was like stepping back in time. Rooms are huge and very well decorated! Lorraine, our host was so considerate. Breakfast was very good and it was unique being served in our room. The morning we left, we were departing prior to breakfast being serve and she offered to send us with a lunch. We told her that it wasn’t necessary and she still brought us bagged cookies to take with us. She had good suggestions for places to eat and things to do. I would definitely want to come back here and stay longer. Two nights was not enough.
- C (10/5): - The amenities at 15 Glasgow, from a welcoming host (Thanks, Lorraine!) to made-to-order breakfast, make as stay at this little jewel an absolute joy!
- Edward (10/5): - The place is absolutely one of cleanest place we have ever traveled; I would rate it 10/10; the owner is very friendly and helpful; breakfast was fantastic and well organized. Very quiet neighbourhood and easy access to great dinning place and Glasgow city centre. The only small downside would be very weak WIFI if you are travelling for leisure then who-care but if need to do business then you will have Challenge!
- Paul (10/5): - Very friendly owner, beautiful room and house. Wonderful area of Glasgow. Highly recommend!!
- Paul (10/5): - Excellent B&B would definitely recommend and will look to stay in future. Thanks very much for looking after us.
- Lynn (10/5): - This was such a gem of a bed and breakfast. Lorraine is kind and helpful and serves a delicious breakfast.
- Carol (10/5): - A lovely room with a great breakfast. The host was extremely helpful with suggestions of what to see and where to dine.
- Mary (10/5): - We were made to feel welcome immediately. Our room was simply stunning, well appointed, and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious.
- Rui (10/5): - Lorraine is a brilliant host. The accommodation is beautiful. This is Lorraine’s home so she does have rules (shoes off at the door for example) but that’s fair enough - it wouldn’t be as stunning otherwise. A wonderful stay and Lorraine is so knowledgeable about the area too.
- Alexander (10/5): - We had a very pleasant stay at this charming B&B. The room was very pretty and had a nice modern bath. The breakfast was delicious.
- Nicholas Steven (10/5): - Lorraine was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. She greets you the minute you arrive and gives a rundown on how everything goes. She gave us a map with some recommendations of things to do and places to eat. She also makes breakfast every morning and you have more than enough options so you can get something different every day. We will be staying here every chance we get.
- sarah (10/5): - We have returned to this lovely house several times now and it never disappoints. The room is spacious, elegant and always immaculate. The breakfast is delicious and the location is calm and beautiful whilst being close to many locations in Glasgow. Very highly recommend!
- Howard (10/5): - Highly recommended. A beautiful b and b, and the host Lorraine thinks of everything. Right across the street from a park, just a few minutes walk from Kelvingrove Park, museum and many restaurants. Free parking. Large room, very comfy bed, very clean and fresh, safe, quiet. Delicious breakfast. Delightful.
- Eric (10/5): - Beuatif
- Pia Pauliina (10/5): - Great property and host.
- Sarah (10/5): - We stayed with our dog and it was lovely! Lorraine was really accommodating and the place was really great. It was a nice location - a quiet street and close to parks, as well as access to a private garden. Breakfast was great, bed was comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend staying here.
- julie (10/5): A Gem of a hotel - We had the pleasure of staying 2 nights in this first class hotel. We were given the CRM room which had a Charles Rennie McIntosh theme to it.
When I say a room it was more like a suite in size. There was a huge comfortable bed, and great sitting area with a TV, a table and chairs to eat breakfast and a great sized ensuite shower room.
The bed was super comfortable, with a nice firm mattress. We slept great both nights.
Their is a quirkiness that I wasn't quite sure about before I arrived. No shoes on was requested (so we took our own slippers - but there were plenty to borrow). I actually liked this as there was no disturbing other people with heavy shoes or high heels on the wooden floors.
And breakfast was served to your room each morning. You pick a time and choose your selection the day before and it's was spot on. Go back for another snooze if you want to.
Really couldn't fault this hotel. It's in a fantastic part of Glasgow with lots to see and do on the doorstep
- Eilish (10/5): - Lovely stay in a beautiful guesthouse - loved the breakfast in our room option. Very helpful host.
- Andrew (10/5): - An excellent stay. A very comfortable huge room with excellent service. Great breakfasts!! Love staying in this area which is close to everything but on a quiet street. I would certainly stay again.
- Ian (10/5): - Lovely stay at 15Glasgow, our first time properly visiting Glasgow and we couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay, easy access to shopping areas and a short walk to Kelvingrove museum. I don’t think I have ever had such a quiet nights sleep, I couldn’t hear any other guests doors banging or loud conversations it was very peaceful ,the host was very helpful and the breakfast was delicious also!
- Corrine (10/5): - Lorraine’s place is perfect. Off the beaten path, sometimes quiet. But so easy to walk to central places or to transport by bus or train. The rooms was spacious with everything we needed, and her service was outstanding. Breakfast was delicious, so spoiled being served to your room each morning.
- Cindy (10/5): - This is beautiful property. Close to alot of great restaurants. You have to try Five March! The owner is a delight. She was so knowledgeable and helpful. The service was excellent. We have the most amazing cooked to breakfast each morning. Our room has everything we needed. Loraine had thought of everything. Such an amazing host! I highly recommend this property!!!
- Caron (10/5): - We stayed in the CRM suite which was absolutely beautiful looking out to the park opposite. The room was huge and had absolutely everything needed for a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was adequate in quantity and delicious. Even the berries on the yoghurt were fresh not like the wet defrosted slush you'll get at one of the big hotels. Hot cooked was different to the norm and served alongside good orange juice, toast and a large cafetiere of coffee.
The use of the large fridge in the communal lounge for our wine/beer was a nice touch where you will also find chilled water/milk etc. Some visitors take exception to the slippers only approach but when you have such a beautiful property one can understand why. Lorraine was a wonderful host and on hand for any advice or assistance. Couldn't recommend highly enough.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Highly Recommend - Lorraine was an amazing host. Breakfast was excellent and room was immaculate. Highly recommend!
- Neal (10/5): - All pk
- Joseph (10/5): - Lorraine was wonderful! If you want a bed-and-breakfast that is centered in Glasgow this is where you want to stay! A true Scottish breakfast was brought to your door every morning. Lorraine would bring a tray of cold items first. You returned the tray to outside your door and then she would bring your hots next. Of all the five hotels we stayed in this 15 Glasgow was our most favorite! Cleanliness, you take your shoes off at the door and she has slippers for you to use to go to your room. Note, this is an Old elegant bed-and-breakfast. Don’t miss the opportunity, if in Glasgow to stay in this beautiful bed-and-breakfast Thank you, Miss Lorraine we will be back!
- Susan (10/5): - A lovely property with very thoughtful extras. Good location, quiet and privacy. Quality all around.
- M (10/5): Spacious, quiet and luxurious. - I stayed in the Charles Rennie Mackintosh Suite. was amazed at the size of the room. Located in a really quiet part of Glasgow. Private park opposite. There's no dining room, so breakfast was brought up to my room (the room had a dining table). Owner really friendly and accommodating. The shower room has something that most hotel bathrooms don't usually have - shelves! Towels were nice and fluffy too! There's a lounge off the entrance hall where there's tourist info and a large fridge for your food and drinks.
- Gabrielle (10/5): - It was an extremely spacious room with a very comfortable bed and a fabulous bathroom with a separate shower and bath. Lorraine is an exceptional host, always happy to help, who provided the best breakfasts we have had on our travels.
- Yariffe (10/5): - Everything was great! The breakfast was delicious, it was all taken care of down to the smallest detail. The room was very spacious and with all you can need during a trip.
- Petra (10/5): - Truly a home away from home. It was the perfect place to stay. Very clean, comfortable, spacious and well cared for room on a quiet street across a park in walking distance to May attractions and great restaurants. The owner is very attentive. Highly recommend.
- Nichole (10/5): I'd stay here again! - What a delightful place and host. Thank you!
- Pauline (10/5): Lovely B&B - Lorraine was a friendly, welcoming host. Room and en-suite were comfortable and spacious. In quiet area close to the park.
- Julie (10/5): - We really like the hotel very nice Georgian house with spacious comfortable rooms.
- Fiona (10/5): 15 Glasgow - Lovely big room and tastefully decorated. Enjoyed breakfast in our room. Nothing was too much trouble for Lorraine.
Parking was free and was only a 15 minute walk from The Hydro.
- Lori (10/5): Absolutely wonderful stay! - 15Glasgow was the best stay we had on our whole trip through the UK. The room itself was huge and gorgeous, the bed was comfortable, and the location was great. Breakfast was made to order, huge, and brought to our door each morning. Lorraine is a warm and thoughtful host. We were truly grateful to have chosen to stay here and will definitely stay again if we come back to Glasgow. Thank you, Lorraine, for your lovely hospitality!
- Cameron (10/5): Stunning Stay - Lorraine is such a fantastic host, with added amenities and freedom within the house if wanted - rooms were stunning with beautiful design and so well kept!
Can’t wait to visit again
- Robert (10/5): Victorian Gentleman - Very relaxing unusual hotel...ideal for a victorian gentlemen...quality, quite, relaxing
- Simon (10/5): - Great accommodation and location
- Sarah (10/5): - A repeat visit for us and just as good as last time!
- Charles (10/5): A great location, hotel with exceptional service. - A great location, hotel with exceptional service. I would stay again
- Colin (10/5): Excellent - What an amazing B&B.
I was a little apprehensive before we arrived as we had a disappointing experience with the hotel that we had chosen in Edinburgh. However, as soon as we arrived any concerns or doubts were soon extinguished.
Lorraine has established an absolutely amazing B&B, that she obviously takes a lot of pride in. Her personality, friendliness and attention to detail made our stay here one of the best we have ever had in a B&B.
We stayed in Heather Room on the top floor, a lot of stairs to get there but once there, Wow! An immaculately furnished spacious room, that’s more like a suite, with a stunning bathroom to match. Tea, coffee, chocolate, biscuits with a supply of fresh milk and water in the fridge downstairs and a view of the car parked in the free parking spaces at the back.
I was unsure as to how I would feel about breakfast served in our room, but once again I needn’t have worried as Lorraine has everything down to a tee. You choose what you would like the day before and the choice is fab. Lorraine would then deliver it to your door. We had OJ, Coffee, Yoghurt with fresh fruit and Muesli, followed by Scrambled Eggs, Mushrooms, Spinach, Tomatoes and Toast all cooked to perfection.
To add to the excellence of this place it is situated on the edge of the city and close to the west end and so there are plenty to places to grab a meal or just a drink.
All in all, we could not have wished for a better place to stay in Glasgow.
- Clara (10/5): - What a wonderful place to stay! We stayed in the Blue Room, which was very spacious and felt like a real escape. The decor, facilities and breakfast were all perfect. Thanks so much Lorraine.
- Guanghui (10/5): - Lorraine is such a wondérful host. You have to see it to believe the house and how beautifully appointed it is. Every little detail is paid attention to. The room was palacial. 15mins walk to the shopping mall. Would stay again when in Glasgow.
- Thomas (10/5): - Lorraine was a wonderful and kind host. She went over and above what you would expect in several situations. And the room was great and the breakfast delicious!
- Gerald (10/5): - Excellent stay. Lorraine runs a great operation. Well appointed. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
- Wendi (8/5): - The rooms are very lovely and the host is very attentive! I had some wifi problems - not enough strength to allow me to easily look up things online. But everything else was fantastic!
- Gavin (10/5): Beautiful boutique B&B - Pristine condition throughout & very well equipped with nice little touches such as provision of wine glasses & corkscrew (we brought our own just in case!) as well as dressing gowns & slippers. Very friendly owner & some off-street parking. Fantastic, quiet location for city centre and west end. Highly recommend!!!
- Allison (10/5): - Lorrainne is a wonderful host and has a lovely accommodation! 10/10 would recommend again
- John (10/5): A Tennie Macintosh haven - Lovely themed room. The host is extremely helpful, has very high standards and great enthusiasm
- Robert (10/5): You’ll love it here! - We stayed in Scotland for a total of 9 days and our 2 nights at this property were an absolute highlight. It is immaculately clean and our room was huge! I had actually forgot that breakfast was included, so being able to pick what we wanted from a menu was delightful. Each morning our food was placed in front of our door and it was so lovingly prepared and delicious! We were also given wonderful recommendations as soon as we checked in. Glasgow is so charming and we loved walking everywhere! Highly recommend this wonderful b&b!
- Lauryn (10/5): - My partner and I had another lovely stay at 15 Glasgow with our wee doggo Rufus. Lorraine is really kind and helpful, nothing is too much and you’re left in peace which is exactly the way we like it. The room was really clean and a good size. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. We will be back!
- Lisa (10/5): Friendly and comfortable - Great location, friendly service, very comfortable room and a great choice for breakfast.

- anthony (10/5): - Just fab will defo stay again
- Nicole (10/5): - Stayed here for 3 nights at the tail end of a week-long road trip of the Isle of Skye and northern Highlands. We were given the Blue Room, a stunning suite, beautifully appointed, sumptuous and comfortable, including the best bed and tub of the entire trip. A most gracious hostess, very knowledgeable about the area, and an excellent cook, made this a place we will happily return to often and recommend highly. Walking distance to Kelvingrove Park and Museum, as well as several decent pubs and restaurants, it was the perfect place to return to after a hard day's sightseeing. A short bus ride or brisk walk up Sauchiehall Street takes you straight to city centre and all the action. Great location.
- Matthew (10/5): - Fabulous accommodations! Location is central to many of the attractions in Glasgow. Room was stunningly furnished and decorated. We felt like we were royalty staying in a castle or a royal estate. Lorraine was so helpful, kind, and accommodating. High marks in every area. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in Glasgow!!

- Sarah (10/5): - This luxury B&B is a real oasis right in the centre of Glasgow. The bed is ridiculously comfortable, the bathrooms are modern and luxurious and the breakfast is beautifully cooked and presented. The area is quiet and attractive but with lovely places to eat within a 2 minute walk. This was our second stay but we will definitely return.
- colin (10/5): - Good location, room and amenities very good while host was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast included in price was very good too.
The host has also taken time to mitigate covid with well thought out arrangements.
Nothing to fault, will go back again.
- Suzanne (10/5): - Gorgeous historic townhouse elegantly converted into B&B! Conveniently located in the west end adjacent to the park and easy walking distance to the University, Kelvingrove museum, botanical gardens, restaurants, and shops. Lorraine provides a delicious made-to-order breakfast to your door and has thought of everything to make 15 Glasgow the perfect accommodation. We received excellent communication in advance, coordinated our arrival where we could drop off our luggage (we arrived early morning well before 3pm check in). She cheerfully stowed our luggage, provided a map with activity and dining recommendations, and had our luggage waiting for us in our spacious suite when we returned later! Another day we were leaving for a day tour earlier than breakfast hours. We returned late the evening prior to find that Lorraine had prepared breakfast and snacks ‘to go’ for us and left them with a note in the fridge! So thoughtful and lovely! Highly recommend as the perfect place to stay!
- Adrianne (10/5): - Beautiful facility. Lovely hosts.
- Wendy (8/5): - Breakfast excellent, very comfortable bed.

- Alan (10/5): Very well organised and an excellent stay. - Although we were at the Hotel for one night, as we were here for the Coldplay Concert; it was an excellent stay. Comfortable, well managed and notwithstanding never having it before, breakfast in the room was a boon.
- Tony (10/5): Beautiful spacious building - Very large and clean room and bathroom, beautifully decorated. Breakfast was served discreetly in our room and very nicely prepared. Would definitely stay again
- DaveandDianne (10/5): Great B&B! - Our room was large and comfortable. Beautiful architecture outside and inside the building and our room. The delivered-to-your room breakfasts were delicious, generous, and on time. Nice big shower.
- Paul (10/5): - Stunning accommodation; so relaxing & tranquil, with a lovely view over the park.
- Angus (10/5): Overnight stay - Place was excellent, our only criticism was that for us personally the bed was too firm. Room was huge, very clean and we were given some excellent tips for sight seeing and drinks etc. Don’t know about eco-friendliness
- Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect Place to Stay in the West End - 15 Glasgow far exceeded our expectations. The service was better than any other place we stayed during our 13 days in Scotland. What hotel makes up your room everyday? What hotel carries your bags up to the third floor? How often do you get a hot breakfast delivered to your door at a specified time? Our host provided a map of the area and recommendations for restaurants, etc. The location was perfect for walking to the Hunterian Art Museum and Mackintosh House, the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, the Botanical Gardens, and lots of shops and restaurants (loved Five March). The Georgian row house has been completely updated and is scrupulously clean. Our room included a large king sized bed and a large sitting area with a breakfast table. Light snacks, wine glasses and a cork screw, and provisions for making tea were just some of the amenities. The rooms are spread over three floors and there is no elevator but that did not present a problem.
- Ned (10/5): - This gorgeous property was a great find! Lovely room, fabulous house, quiet street, comfortable bed, great breakfast, terrific host--the list could go on and on! If one is coming to Glasgow, this is the place to stay!
- Alison (10/5): - Lovely place to stay, the room was very comfortable and clean, good location. Lorraine was a lovely host, breakfast was well organised and tasty. Would definitely recommend and stay again on our next visit.
- Nathan (10/5): - Very welcoming with lovely rooms. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Felt spoiled! Would recommend to anyone.
- Sam (10/5): - Very nice property. Host was extremely helpful. Several dining locations and pubs in walking distance.
- Tony (8/5): - A really lovely house in the West End of Glasgow, easy walking distance to Kelvingrove and many fashionable restaurants. Large rooms with comfy king size beds, complimentary drinks and a nice breakfast, served in the room.
- john (8/5): - We were very disappointed that we could not get into our room before 3 PM since we arrived at 11 AM and were very tired.
The breakfasts very well done and very good.
- Marianne (10/5): - Lovely clean B&B . Good location. Breakfast was good .
Owner was very friendly and helpful
- Ruth (10/5): - After a long day of travel delays, 15 Glasgow was an elegant respite for rejuvenation before continuing our journey to the Hebrides. We would love to return for a longer stay!
- David (10/5): A touch of Scots class. - 15Glasgow is full of character and charm. The rooms are impeccable(and huge) and spotlessly clean. Located in quiet terrace a short distance from the West End and Finnieston district with pubs and eateries for all tastes. The city centre is a couple of miles away but suggest you take the sightseeing tour bus and hop on/off all day! We had a fantastic 3 days in Glasgow and Lorraine the proprietor is extremely welcoming and rightly so, very proud of her establishment. Return visit almost certain!
- Christina (10/5): - Lorraine was very attentive. Let us drop our bags off early and gave us loads of recommendations for places to go. The house I beautiful!
- RAVI (10/5): As good as it looks! - Absolutely stunning room, fantastic location and lovely host Lorraine. Very tastefully decorated, rooms huge, pictures don't do it justice. Bed very comfortable and facilities, property clean - Lorraine and her team go to great lengths to keep this way. 1000% recommended and we will definitely return. Didn't take advantage of the nightcap complimentary whisky however breakfast was very good! Thank you for your lovely hospitality.
- Heather (10/5): Loved it - Very fine welcome at number15. Parking was easy
