- Julie (8/5): Disappointed ☹️ - We were initially in a smaller apartment and upgraded to a larger apartment at additional cost. Facilities were good. Central location. Was advised that we would have to pay security deposit - no issue with this. Were unable to pay the £200 by card as they requested it in cash (Colm). We upgraded to a larger apartment on the second day at an additional £20 each for the 8 of us. They took this out of the £200 deposit. Have tried in vain to get the remaining £40 to be refunded - no communication from the apartment. Have tried through booking.com too. Very disappointed. The apartment was left spotless. I am a frequent traveller who pays deposits for lots of accommodation when I stay. This is my first experience of this happening!!

- Bradley (10/5): Absolutely amazing -

- Williams (8/5): Did the job for one night, close to the pubs and train station - The location Small kitchen for 6 people
- Neesha (4/5): Overall, while there were some positives, the lack of communication, poor arrival experience, and un - The staff we interacted with were friendly, polite, and helpful once they were available. We were also given an upgraded room, which we appreciated, and at first glance the room itself looked clean and nicely presented. Unfortunately, our arrival experience was extremely stressful. There was no one at the property to let us in and no access code had been provided, leaving us waiting outside in the rain with three children, including a toddler, for over an hour. With no immediate support, we were forced to book a non-refundable room at a Premier Inn, meaning we ended up paying for two accommodations.
Although someone eventually contacted us, the delay caused significant inconvenience. We were also told a manager would follow up with us, but we never received that call. Additionally, while the room looked good on the surface, there were clear signs of wear and tear, and basic amenities such as soap in the shower were missing.
To make matters worse, we have already raised a dispute with Booking.com and have not received any response, which has added to our disappointment
- Kierstin (5/5): - The bed is soft.. but not that clean. Very dusty.
The reception guy is really friendly. 5/5 for him The location is loud. The rooms are more for group of friends and not family friendly.

- Joanie (6/5): Great stay - Colin was brilliant he really looked after us and kept us safe . Lydia was lovely all in all we had a great time . The first room they offered us up change us straight away
- Millie (1/5): This stay was ruined as it was for my birthday. - Nothing I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the extremely poor and unhygienic conditions I encountered during my recent stay at your hotel on the 19th July 2025 at the Elenor Rigby Hotel.
Specifically, I experienced the following serious issues:
Silverfish in the Bed – I was extremely disturbed to find silverfish insects in the bed. This is a clear sign of poor cleanliness and pest control, and it made the sleeping conditions both uncomfortable and unsanitary. This mean we was unable to stay at our hotel.
Damaged Walls – The room had multiple visible dents and holes in the walls, creating an overall appearance of neglect and lack of proper maintenance.
Dirty Cutlery – The cutlery provided in the room was unclean and appeared to have not been properly washed, which is unacceptable in any hospitality setting.
Upon arrival, I noticed the room was dusty and generally unclean. Surfaces had visible layers of dust, and the room appeared not to have been properly cleaned before my check-in. In addition, there was an overall mess that made the space feel neglected and unhygienic.
This falls well below the standard I expected and made my stay uncomfortable. I urge you to review your cleaning procedures to ensure that future guests do not face the same issue.
These conditions not only fell far short of the basic standards one would expect from a hotel but also raised serious concerns about hygiene and guest safety.
I request an immediate investigation into this matter and appropriate compensation for the unacceptable state of the room. Please also confirm that steps are being taken to ensure no other guest is subjected to these conditions.
- Chelsea (10/5): - Right in the city centre next to Matthew street which is great for party groups, the staff were so helpful and the room was clean and exactly as described. I would definitely stay here again! :)
- John (10/5): The staff were excellent looked after my whole group made sure we were all okay & safe. couldn’t ask for any more th - apartment really clean great location facilities perfect, would highly recommend anyone to stay there on a trip to Liverpool. Nothing, it was all perfect
- Nadine (5/5): - The staff were constantly knocking on trying to access to apartment for a “head count “ . This continued all through the night and early hours of the morning . DO NOT PAY THE DAMAGE DEPOSIT. We’ve been promised the deposit back on multiple occasions , there was no damage whatsoever on the property and they keep saying they are “sending it back” but still haven’t received it back. We’ve rang multiple times which they are ignoring the call, we then rang on a different phone number and they answered the phone to that one so clearly they are ignoring us
- Sam (7/5): Good except not gettin deposit back - Everything but getting my deposit back getting my deposit back
- livia (7/5): -
- mckenzie (10/5): -
- Janine (1/5): disappointed- booked for 50th birthday , this is a actually a hostel room. - closeness to the town room we got was not the room advertised.
6 flights of stairs up, no lift. beds like coffins, bathroom sick wouldn't drain leaving dirty water to sit, toilet seat 2 cracks and no hot water.
no staff available to complain to that's why send you codes via email.

- Mary-Jane (10/5): Loved it! - perfect for groups, great location & welcoming and helpful staff
- Fiona (9/5): Lydia and Colin hosts extraordinaire. - Lydia the host was absolutely fantastic. So helpful, accommodating and humorous. Colin on reception was such a caring gent. He went out of his way to make us feel safe in his lovely city. Going beyond what we expected which was so appreciated. (Family of 4 all female) Colin showed us personally where The Cavern Club was an example of nothing was too much trouble to him. Lydia and Colin made our trip, thank-you both. Couldn't get the TV in room to work ( room 6) but we weren't there to watch tv 😆
Couldn't get the shower to run hot.....but we weren't bothered as were from up north and had a flannel 😂😂😂😂😂

- Sewell (10/5): Great - Fit a lot of people in a room, good location and clean and modern Beds were a little bit uncomfortable
- Leighton (1/5): - Bloke came in and checked the room in the morning said it was clean.we left nothing in there. There was moldy food that was still in the microwave that was left by the people who stay there before us god knows how long it’s been in there for And still I didn’t get my deposit back. And the rooms were dirty all over, uncomfortable beds definitely wouldn’t recommend
- Jose Antonio (8/5): -

Great location Nothing
- Courtney (1/5): -
- Deborah (9/5): Excellent value fantastic location. - Lovely lady on check in and excellent man on night duty. Room was clean and beds very comfortable. Basic needs all covered .would stay here again .Good location for Caven Street. Car park only a short walk for a q park location. On top floor would have liked a lower floor.
- Steven (10/5): -
- Szymon (10/5): -
- Nicky (6/5): 50th birthday celebrations - The location was great
Staff couldn't do enough for you, very helpful & friendly The room was very small for 6 guests. We did get upgraded on the last night, so thank you 😊
Room not stocked up with mugs and basics. Staff did get these as soon as we reported it.
- Domínguez Casasola (5/5): Muy ruidoso de juerga y gaviotas. Pequeño para 4. Poco transpirable. Literas sarcófagos - La ubicación Muchísimo ruido a todas horas.
- Jamie (10/5): -
- Singh (10/5): - The location is really good and staff is really good and helpful Nothing
- Anj (7/5): Good -
- Angela (10/5): Exceptional - Location great
Check in easy.
Communication spot on.
- Lewis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tim (9/5): Superb -
- Jeanne (7/5): Misleading photos on the listing - Great location as it was right by the bars and especially handy for the Cavern if you're a fan of the Beatles!
The beds were quite comfy as well.
Have rated 7 mainly for the location. The photos were a bit misleading as we all thought we were going to get a huge apartment but instead, it was just one room containing the beds, sitting area and kitchen. I don't remember seeing a photo of what our apartment would actually look like, only of the big one. The glasses in the cupboard were dirty as well.
- David (8/5): Eleanor apartments - Decent apartment right in the mix of the city nightlife, staff were helpful, would recommend Very hot in apartment as was a hot day , only one window that opens a little but overall decent as the 4 of us only slept there
- Olivia (9/5): Superb -
- Sharon (10/5): Exceptional - Everything the open space how convenient it was to everywhere
- Rachel (10/5): Brilliant for stag do - Really clean and modern, great location Nothing
- Phil (1/5): Watch you personal items !! - Good central location During our stay at Eleanor Rigby Apartments, Stanley Street, Liverpool from Saturday 21st June to Sunday 22nd June, a hotel staff member entered our room uninvited at approximately 9:00 PM. He appeared to believe the room was unoccupied. When challenged, his explanation was that he “wanted to use our toilet.” This is completely unacceptable, and frankly, not believable.
We were staying on the top floor of the property, making his excuse even more implausible—there is absolutely no logical reason why a hotel employee would bypass any staff or public facilities to attempt to use a guest’s private bathroom, especially at 9PM, long after any reasonable cleaning or maintenance hours.
Furthermore, Mike, a member of our group, was in the room at the time and was undressed. This adds an even more serious layer to the violation—his privacy was invaded in what should have been a completely secure and private space.
To add to our concern, this same staff member had been seen earlier in the evening ogling young female guests as they were leaving the premises, behaviour that was both inappropriate and concerning. It raises very real suspicions about his true intentions and whether he may have attempted similar unauthorised access to other guests’ rooms.
We believe this was an intentional act—an attempt to enter the room while he thought it was empty, potentially to snoop or steal. If there is any doubt about our claims, we urge you to review the hotel’s CCTV footage from that evening, which should clearly confirm the staff member’s presence on our floor and near our room at the time we’ve specified.
This was not just poor service—it was a gross violation of our privacy, a serious breach of trust, and left us feeling extremely unsafe for the remainder of our stay. It is beyond unacceptable.
- Conor (5/5): Place dead on, had to pay a deposit when got there as usual but never got it back, no reason why it shouldn’t have been, -
- Sarah (8/5): Girls weekend - The location was excellent. the apartment was lovely, beds very, very comfortable. Tom, the guy who works there, was fab and so helpful. This may seem like a moan, but more like, advise. There was nowhere to put anything! As a group of 10 girls for 2 nights, we had to live out of our suitcases/bags, only 4 chairs to sit on, our luggage was scattered all over apartment. There is only 1 large mirror in the room for getting ready. There are not enough glasses or cups for us all, so we had to have hot drinks on a rota.
Just some minor tweaks would make it amazing.
- Katie (7/5): Lovely stay with friends - How close it was to everything. Perfect apartment for a trip with your friends, it felt like we were having a massive sleep over with the bunk beds! Beds were comfy and staff were lovely and friendly. There were a few things broken e.g lights in the bunk beds did not work, blind strings and toilet seat was coming off. We couldn’t figure out how to connect to the Bluetooth (however that was probably a problem on our end)
