• Michał (1/5): - My stay at this hotel turned into a nightmare. The room was infested with bed bugs, and I was severely bitten during my stay. The situation was so serious that I unknowingly brought them back with me to Poland, and now I have to undergo treatment and cover additional costs for disinfection and getting rid of the infestation. What is even more outrageous is the hotel’s behavior after I reported the issue — despite filing a complaint and fully describing the situation, the hotel has completely ignored my messages and has not even bothered to respond. This shows a total lack of responsibility, professionalism, and respect for guests. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this hotel unless they want to risk their health and face major problems after returning home.

Around the hotel and in the room itself it was very dirty! The shower cabin and the toilet were very dirty, with traces of previous guests. The room is very small. The sofa bed is uncomfortable. The room was stuffy. Slippers are not provided. We often stay in Barcelona, and this is the worst hotel we have stayed in. It is more of a hostel than a hotel!

Από καθαριότητα ήταν οκέι! Γενικά δεν αξίζει σαν κατάλυμα καθώς είναι πολύ υπερεκτιμημένο και σίγουρα δεν αξίζει τα χρήματα του!

• Hannah (10/5): Superb location - Superb location for exploring Barcelona and near to metro/ bus stops. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Rooftop terrace had fantastic views of the city skyline, we enjoyed the free live music. The buffet breakfast was very good. We would definitely stay again. Tea, coffee, milk and sugar were not replaced daily. However, staff were happy to provide extra at reception on request.

• Jakub (10/5): - Hotel is located right next to Arc de Triomf, only a 5-minute walk to Via Laietana (where you can get lost in the charming streets of Barcelona), 10 minutes to Plaça Catalunya, and around 20 minutes to Barceloneta. The hotel offers an impressive view from the top floor, where you can enjoy breakfast. We stayed in a superior room with a huge and very comfortable bed. The staff were very nice and helpful. Absolutely recommend this hotel.

Acredito que um ponto a observar é que o corredor que da acesso aos quartos não era refrigerado e no caso estava quente. Apenas isso.

• Tobias (8/5): Ein schönes zentrales Hotel - ohne Pool! - Sehr freundliches und kompetentes Personal! Modern und sauber und wirklich zentral gelegen! Einen Fussbecken von 4,5 x 2 m und 70 cm Wassertiefe als Pool zu bezeichnen finde ich wirklich lächerlich - außerdem lag er mitten im Frühstücksbereich! An Schwimmen war nicht zu denken und der Pool war einer der Auswahlkriterien - und das war lachhaft! Schade!

• adrianwO495RV (10/5): A Perfect Adults-Only Escape in Barcelona with Stunning Rooftop Views - We had an amazing stay at Hotel REC in Barcelona and could not recommend it more highly. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. One of the absolute highlights was the rooftop bar — the views were stunning and made for the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the city. It really added something special to our stay. We were also pleasantly surprised by the free wine and beer tasting sessions. It’s such a unique touch, and the fact that they were conducted in English made it even more enjoyable. A special mention goes to Carlos, who hosted the tasting — he was fantastic, engaging, and made the whole experience fun and memorable. The location was another big plus. Being so close to Arc de Triomf made it easy to get to all the main tourist attractions, while still being in an area that wasn’t too busy or overcrowded. We also really appreciated that the hotel is adults-only, which made for a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere throughout our stay. Overall, an incredible experience with thoughtful extras that made our trip even better. We would definitely stay here again!
