Guest Reviews

- timothy (8/5): - Great location close to local shops and services. Had their own car park. Nice outside space for drinks / food. Comfy bed. Bathroom all fine, Couple of times went to bar and no one serving, as it turns out they were helping with something else in the hotel, II waited a few minutes and left to go next door instead.
One day when room was cleaned, yes, rubbish bag was taken away, but no coffee or milks were replenished, seemed a rushed 'cleaning' effort. Room a bit dated, I thought a little pricey for what you got. Can't comment on the food, as didn't eat there.
- Prashant (10/5): -

- Muhammad Umar (7/5): Fantastic location, great staff but I expected a better room - Staff was fantastic It was expensive. They gave me different toom to which I had paid for and it was like a hall. Thanks to staff who changed it eventually but that room's lock was broken.
They said they changed the room initially as I indicated my child wants pet-free space. But, they should have contacted and offered me different option instead of putting us in a hall.
I had better expectations after spending that much money
- Manit (7/5): - Car park, bed, Cleaning, furniture, wall paper, curtain

- Sarah (7/5): Great location and easy to access. Could have been over cost-effective/ cleanliness - Our overall stay was fine, easy to locate when travelling by bus. Good location for day hikes around the area. The breakfast price should have been included in the total cost and not having an additional charge. Wish there was a more amenities in the room such a a small fridge or microwave would have been very handy. There were visible stains on the carpet and brownish/green grime in the shower. Felt like the shower and toilet was not cleaned properly.
- Aoife Marie (10/5): Lovely hotel - The location was excellent. Very warm cozy room. They also left our baby a sleep sack which was so thoughtful N/A
- Kannan (9/5): - The staff is the friendliest staff I've come across. Really helpful throughout our stay. David is such a kind and approachable person with immense knowledge of Llanberis
The place itself is super lively with a sports bar in the building and a restaurant that is usually busy. The whole place is dog friendly.
The location can't get better than this, especially if you are going there to hike to Snowdonia. Definitely recommended! The room was a bit cold the first night but upon informing the staff, this was promptly fixed the second day. So nothing that we didn't like in general.

The room was spotless, the shower room was quirky and the pressure was great. The food down stairs is a tad expensive but it was online with other local eateries.

- Jack (10/5): -
- Rochelle (5/5): Not worth the price at all - Location is the only good part of you don’t mind compromising on the type of stay The cleanliness was not great, the place gave a dungeon feel, the room was dark n gloomy. The vibe was a bit off for the place. The hospitality of the staff could be better
- Anna (9/5): - Great location,very good food,car park

- Kwankhao (10/5): Excellent - The location is great! I was very comfortable during my 3 nights there. The room was very clean and has everything you might need. The staffs were friendly and helpful. The diner was also very good as well, I had dinner there everyday.
- Kathy (10/5): Family friendly, reasonably priced with great location - The staff gave a warm welcome and were so friendly and helpful. Dave and Callum in particular were great (they all were but don’t know names) and Dave was also a mountain guide who we hired to guide my son up Yr Wyddfa/Snowden on our first day.
- Christian (9/5): I was there for a long weekend to go hiking up crib goch and a few others - Breakfast was delicious, both cold and hot options were available and great. They had lovely showers which was necessary after a wet and muddy day I liked my time there, so I can't think of anything.

Überteuert
- Michelle (7/5): Good for the location and for one night - Location is perfect. The food excellent and staff helpful The rooms are very dated / rundown especially considering what we paid for one night
- Michale (10/5): -
- Bednarska (10/5): - It is really good place to stay, very close to the pubs and restaurants
- Sammi (7/5): - The hotel receptionist is very nice. Location is good for taking Snowdon Mountain Railway and all other local attractions. Staff also allow us park our car at the hotel until late on the check out day. The room is not as spacious as shown in the picture. We booked a family room with bulk bed. But bulk bed is in another very small room which is very warm.
- Hayley (8/5): Great little find to explore Snowdon from - Lovely location to climb Snowdon. Rooms were clean & the dog welcome pack was lovely!
Staff were friendly & so helpful & great with our little dog! Only issue we had was that the room was so warm we couldn’t sleep. Fan in room which didn’t work
- Fleur (10/5): -
- AKSHAR GAURANGBHAI (1/5): Everything was stressful, unhygienic, and unacceptable — would never return or recommend. - Only the location near the steam train — that’s the reason we booked. Very disappointed with Padarn Hotel. Upon arrival, the shower was not draining properly. When we reported this, the manager refused to offer another room and instead told us to use a public shower despite us paying £170 per night and travelling with a 2-month-old baby. At 11 PM, staff even suggested we leave if we weren’t happy but where can we possibly go with a baby at that time of night? The room also had bugs flying around, making the stay uncomfortable and unhygienic. The owner was not helpful at all, and Booking.com provided no support when we raised the complaint.
- Julie (5/5): -
- Lisa (7/5): On the whole UTs a very pleasant stay. Staff were extremely helpful and polite which makes up for it . Set in beautiful - The property is in good location and by the river/ lake . Got nice restaurant’s nearby and good place for a walk and stroll We like the property but find price a bit beyond our price range . We did it as a one off only . Will not book it as a regular basis. For that price , we would have expected for breakfast to be included but UTs not so we’d rather drive to Pothmadog and have Costa instead - haha. But UTs not so we’d big deal.
- Mary (9/5): Great location and friendly staff - The staff and location were excellent. Good base for hiking Snowdon. The hotel restaurant serves a good breakfast and lunch. They are dog friendly as well. The rooms are a little dated. But it was comfortable and was good for what we needed.
- Paula (7/5): - Basic, friendly, comfy beds, excellent location
- Janiek (8/5): -
- J (3/5): -
- Kate (5/5): Let down by dirtiness - The location is brilliant and the food (breakfast and dinner) was good. However, our family room was dirty and dusty. The children's bedsheets had all sorts of dirt and hair on them. We did not realise this until late at night when it was too late to ask the cleaner to come and sort it so we all squished into the adults bed together as that seemed ok. The TV remote control looked like it had never been cleaned, shower tray was dirty, and there was thick dust visible by the desk.
The sheer curtain in the bathroom is inadequate if you're using the bathroom after dark. Passers-by could see in.
We paid a lot for the room, plus extra for the breakfast so were not impressed by the lack of cleanliness. It was a convenient but not very comfortable stay...
- Ian (9/5): -
- Alan (8/5): Callum looked after us very well and even tried to contact us when he realised it was late and we still hadn’t checked i - The room we had was a large room that accommodated all our travel and hiking equipment. The hotel is well located just a short walk from the bottom of the Llanberris path up Snowden ( or the train station), so great spot It was unusually warm whilst we were there and even though they had already put a fan in the room and we could leave the window open… the duvet was a very warm one
- Samuel (9/5): - Helpful staff, good location, reasonable price , no complaints
- Alex (9/5): -
- Victoria (9/5): Last minute night away and was the only place left which took dogs but it exceeded our expectations - Great location, nice beer garden, great food. Shower could be a bit cleaner
- Tracy (6/5): Great location. The rooms needs freshen up - Location was great.
It was clean and comfortable.
Free parking.
Breakfast was reasonably priced and a good voice.
Lots of towels, complimentary soaps, shower get etc. It was a little outdated.
Luckily we spent our time visiting during a heatwave and we didn’t need a hot shower, we could only get lukewarm water.
- Shannen (9/5): Good vibes ! - Staff lovely, good vibe, excellent location for exploring this part of North Wales
- Arturo Carlos (10/5): -
