• Sebastian (7/5): Tolle Villa, Probleme mit der Bezahlung, alkoholisierter Vermieter - Die Villa ist riesig und die Innenausstattung ist traumhaft. Auch die Küche ist an Kochutensilien vollständig eingerichtet. Solch eine gute Ausstattung haben wir noch nicht in Asien vorgefunden. Kaffee, Tee und frisches Obst waren beim Einzug vorhanden und die Obstschalen sehr vielfältig. Lediglich eine spülmaschine fehlte in der Villa. Die Zimmer und Badezimmer sind sehr groß und ebenfalls sehr gut eingerichtet. Lediglich in einem Badezimmer läuft das Wasser weg vom Abfluss der Dusche in Richtung Abfluss neben der Toilette und flutet das gesamte Badezimmer. Es befinden sich in allen Zimmern zahlreiche Steckdosen. Der Salzwasser Pool war super und das Wasser brennt auch nicht in den Augen. Man hat den gesamten Vormittag Sonne am Pool. Hinter dem Haus kann man abends spielen oder gemütlich beisammensitzen und zwei Ventilatoren machen den aufenhalt erträglich. Eine Woche vor der Anreise fragte der Vermieter per WhatsApp an, ob wir die Bezahlung bereits tätigen könnten. Ich bat an, dass ich wie in der Buchung angegeben per KreditKarte sofort bezahlen könnte. Der Vermeiter äußete jedoch, dass Kreditkartenzahlung nicht möglich sei. Dies führte später zu unangenehmen Situationen. Beim Bezug nahm uns die thailändische Ehefrau des Vermieters freundlich in Empfang. Plötzlich tauchte der Vermieter (vermutlich Brite) auf und schaute sie böse an, woraufhin sie ging. Die Führung durch das Haus dauerte 1,5h und der Vermieter war sichtlich und merklich alkoholisiert und erzählte zum Teil Geschichten mehrfach und dass, obwohl wir ihm erzählten, dass zwei aus unserer Gruppe sich am Vorabend eine Lebensmittelvergiftung zugezogen hatten und etwas Ruhe bräuchten. Dies hat bereits bei und vor der Anreise die Vorfreude getrübt. Er erzählte dreimal, dass er von seinem Anwalt käme und er dort mit diesem dessen Geburtstag gefeiert und einigen Alkohol getrunken hatte. Während unseres Aufenthalts stand dann mehrfach das Thema der Bezahlung im Raum. Einen Abend bekamen wir ungehaltene, unfreundliche, fordernde Nachrichten und es machte den Eindruck, dass diese Nachrichten ebenfalls alkoholisiert verfasst wurden. Eine Bezahlung wie angegeben über Booking wollte er nicht, bat jedoch an die Wechselgebühren zu übernehmen. Dennoch haben wir sowas wie den Empfang durch eine alkoholisierte Person oder die Probleme mit dem Bezahlen oder unfreundliche Nachrichten noch nie in Asien erlebt und es hat unsere Stimmung zum Teil sehr negativ beeinflusst. Der Überlauf vom Pool ist von Algen bereits grün verfärbt.

• denise (10/5): Beautiful relaxing family time - All the little touches such as fruit,milk,honey when we arrived as well as beautifully presented rooms. Villa is isolated and extremely quiet which was heaven for us come from London. Plenty of space in villa with everything you need. Stephen was exceptionally helpful with recommendations and guidance. You need a car or scooters or rely on taxis (which are very reliable). We used taxi and scooter company recommended by Stephen (host). The isolation didn't phase us, it's what we needed but may be a bit quiet for some. Also bring plenty of bite cream...not so much mosquitos but something else bitie BUT you are in the middle of a jungle, we just wasn't prepared.

• Debbie (10/5): Exceptional - Pics don’t do this place justice, it’s large, rooms are large, all rooms have modern en-suites. Book shelves, games, Attention to detail all on point. Hosts available if needed and happy to arrange trips. Nothing.

• Jon (9/5): Excellent property and base to see the south of the island, close to some of the best beaches and sunsets - Amazing luxurious space, really nicely equipped downstairs and huge bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs. Tastefully styled with nice finishing touches - and a really good coffee machine. Nice care package of bread, fruits, jams etc Personally, was a shame some of the gym equipment didn’t work, but the host explained the issue. Also, we all found the beds a little hard and unstable feeling.
