- Meagan (2/5): - DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS PROPERTY We left before we need stayed due to poor facilities, everything was breaking or not working. We were expected to fix ourselves and let strangers walk through our room. Leaving open bottles of draino in the bathroom with our young children around. Called to discuss the refund we didn’t get and I was yelled at by the old owner and completely disrespected when I called to kindly discuss. Absolutely disgusting service to give.

If you don't mind a dated unit, which nevertheless has everything you need, you will love this place! It was a great pleasure and a privilege to meet Blossom, who is a local icon!

She also came down and offered board games for our son which was a lovely touch. Curtain dividers in family rooms were also a brilliant surprise. I don't know why all hotels don't have these? Some kitchen appliances could use updating, and some of the sunbeds out front. We would stay again. Beautiful place run by a beautiful lady.

Grass so gree, well maintained, gorgeous frangipani trees, tables and umbrellas everywhere right on the beach. Literally right on the beach, just like the image. Kids loved it too. Lots of shells at low tide. Met some lovely other people. People staying at the same time and best of all, Blossom. Blossom (the host) is amazing, very warm, welcoming and passionate full of lots kindness. Also, the lovely other lady whom maintains the rooms after folks have left (so sorry, i forget tour name!!!), fantastic to talk to locals. Property is 10-15 minutes walk from main area and lagoon. Beautiful, hidden area. Highly recommended. Just what we needed!! Not a big apartment up on a high building, but realistically nice and low straight on to the beach!!

- Joanne (8/5): - The owner Blossom and staff were very friendly and helpful. The unit was on the top floor and the views amazing. the flow through air was great. We just used the fans with open windows and door and it was cool enough even in November. I wasn't able to talk to the owner directly to book when I was looking, as she was out at the time and by the tie she called back I already booked through Wot if. But would have booked directly if I could because a lot of money is taken from the rental amount from outside companies.

NOT what a disappointment No one there to greet us, eventually found instruction the key is under the mat on the vacancy board It is like going back in time to my childhood days of staying in a batch in NZ where you had to sit at dinning room table to watch small tv Fluorescent light in bedroom didn’t work and hair dryer didn’t have safety guard so my hair got caught in it my husband had to cut it out Not the nicest beach either. We travelled from Cairns and stayed in really excellent hotels, paying $20 more for luxury compared to this property. Put a real damper on our trip Would not recommend this place to anybody
- Nikki (10/5): - Beautiful absolute beachfront location. Bliss. Where else can you make a cup of tea and step out your front door onto the beach to drink it.
- Pete (10/5): - What an amazing location. Sue and I were unexpectanly upgraded into the renovated "Old beach house". Sleeps 8 and a baby cot. Has two toilets and bathroom. Along with a self contained full kitchen. The beach house has amazing uninterrupted sea views right on the beach. The grass area in the beach forefront with beach lounges was a wonderful touch. Self contained amenities were amazing with nothing lacking. The Owner/Manager is a very welcoming host who provides old style service and hospitality. Something missed today in this very business driven world. We can highly recommend this place if you looking for a quiet relaxing place to spend a holiday to unwind and refresh while stepping back in time with modern and classic furnishings. 5 star for cleanliness and location views.

Why did the owners of this valuable property choose to style it and furnish in line with the dark ages of continental Europe, I am at a loss to understand. It was unbearably over furnished and cluttered, dark and dingy with the precious ocean views so concealed by small windows and obstructive antique furniture. If you feel like stepping hundreds of years into the past, it is the place to be.
