- Patricia (10/5): Amazing stay in Tlaquepaque - Absolutely wonderful hotel in Tlaquepaque. Good location, comfortable rooms, super beautiful decorations, tasteful breakfast and friendly staff! I can recommend and will return if there will be a next occasion. A little fridge would have been nice to have.
- Jennifer (7/5): I enjoyed my stay but would likely look for different accommodations if/when I return to Tlaquepaque. - Very pretty the way the property is decorated, and just a short walk to the center of town. In consideration of the rate I paid, there are some small amenities that I believe should have been made available, such as wash cloths, conditioner, Kleenex. The tv in the room did not have a reliable signal and there were a couple other odds and ends that needed fixing in the room.
I believe the rate I paid may have been a bit inflated on Booking.com, as compared to that of other guests, it did include breakfast but also raised my expectations. A couple of creative ideas that would have elevated my experience regarding breakfast is to offer fresh juice/agua fresca and fresh jam in place of processed juice and jam. That type of attention to detail would have made the accommodation more special.
- Sandra (6/5): OK - Very quaint Mexican feel. Colorful. Very good breakfast and lovely helpful staff. We stayed in a room near the garden, below ground level. Room was smelly from bathroom. Shower stall had that moldy feel. No window in bathroom so hard to ventilate. Room was also very cold, fortunately there was a heater in the room. The other room we had was next to reception, Large but noisy due to location. Street on one side and reception/breakfast area on the other.
- Utschig (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lin (4/5): Disappointing -
- Janet (10/5): Super cute place, LOVED the traditional Mexican deco/vibe! - Great location, close vicinity to shopping area, in walking distance to everything. Loved the traditional Mexican decor/vibe. Our room was spacious, bed very comfortable, shower had nice water pressure and got hot quickly. Staff was awesome, very nice and attentive. I would definitely stay here again! Nothing
- Päivi (10/5): Cute, neat and convenient - This is a great Mexican style posada with very convenient localization just a few blocks aways from the pedestrian Independence street. Our room was very spacious and had a lovely traditional decoration, comfy beds and smart tv with (good!) internet connection. Room was ready and available without extra fee even if we arrived before checking hours - That's what I call hospitality and it really makes a different when choosing between hotels, guesthouses and vacation rentals. We would definitely stay here again! All good, nothing to complain about.
- Marion (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tony (9/5): Superb -

- Nishant (10/5): Exceptional Stay - Nice Property with Exceptional Customer Service - Staff. Exceptional customer service. Every single person working here is just amazing. We got to intract with two different staff at the reception and both are exceptional and good with english, especially Sofia (she speaks Italian too). They go out of their way to help you. Feels like home away from home.
Breakfast is truely Mexican and a great feast esespecially for someone who is vegetarian. Plenty of options to try and each one of them taste so good. Its kind of 3 course meal, and you get to try a number of Mexican dishes with amazing Mexican Coffee.
Pool is small but very nice and clean.
They have parking available inside the property which makes it very safe for the cars parked overnight.
Reception is 24*7 and always there to assit you any time of the day/night.
Property as well as the rooms are nice and clean. Decor of the property is something very Mexican and amazing.
Main attractions are 2 blocks away and very safe even late night.
One suggestion- Staff in Mexico generally survive on Tips, so plz try to be generous with your tips. No complaints.

The breakfast was delicious! It's in a perfect location with plenty to do and eat. I can't say enough great things about this place. Everything was perfect! No complaints.
- Joshua (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kirk (9/5): Beautiful and affordable hotel for Tlaquepaque visit! - Lovely Mexican decor and color. Very hospitable staff. Nice, relaxing pool area. Near the Jardin Hidalgo. Room smelled a little musty. No coffee maker or fridge in room.
- Curt (10/5): Exceptional - Staff was great, location is perfect, decor is beautiful, breakfast chef's amazing salsa. We only stayed one night.
- Kehn (7/5): Good - Location and staff
- Kehn (6/5): It was fine - Location and the staff

- Perla (9/5): Very welcoming! Would definitely come back. - Loved the aesthetic of the property! Staff was all very friendly and quick to help with any of our needs! Wish the breakfast would be served a bit earlier so we could’ve had the chance to eat there.
- Raul (10/5): Great stay and super friendly staff. - The area was centrally located by downtown Tlaqupaque. Walking distance to taco stands, and churros. Various kinds of dining. Breakfast provided by the property. Mosquitos so take your spray. That is just the whole city.
- Sheila (10/5): A charming and quiet hotel in a safe area close to the action. - Delicious breakfast and charming decor.
- Anil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (10/5): Great location and helpful staff - The location was excellent, just a couple blocks from the tourist area. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The breakfast was very good and had many options to choose from. We would totally stay here again.
- Paula (10/5): I’m looking forward to coming back to Tlaquepaque and staying here! - The place is gorgeous and every aspect is such a wonderful feeling. Also, Karina is the nicest person you’ll ever meet. She was caring, attentive, and so lovely.
- Cimatti (9/5): Superb - The hotel staff are so, so, so nice and welcoming.
Rooms and facilities are well kept, tidy and clean.
The room was big and comfortable.
The hotel is quiet but very close to the centro of Tlaquepaque. I picked the hotel partly because of the pool, unfortunately it was quite murky while I was there, so I was not able to go for a swim.
- Jackson (9/5): Good breakfast. Quick and hot food. Quiet location. - Great staff. Vicky is,super helpful.
- Angel (9/5): Superb - Breakfast was very good
- Alina (8/5): Very good -
- William (9/5): We loved it and would highly recommend! - We loved the bright and inviting decor of this hotel, so many beautiful nooks and corners and decorative elements everywhere. The room was spacious, and so was the bathroom. We loved interacting with the staff, Sofia went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and advised us on some places to check out. It was a bit noisy in the night. Our room was facing the courtyard and we could hear all the comings and goings, people talking in the reception, the bell ringing, etc.
- Rosa (9/5): Everything was great during the first four days. We explored our stay one more day. The fifth day we were not happy. The - Loved the decorative ambiance Pool, rooms and location.
- Lisbeth (10/5): Exceptional - Posada Las Margaritas exceeded our expectations. Excellent attention from the reception staff, especially from Victoria who guided us regarding the tours, restaurants and places to visit, which were excellent. A la carte breakfast, which was also more than we expected. Excellent location, with easy walking access to the most attractive tourist areas in the area.
- Daniel (8/5): Very good - The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The Booking.com post was confusing to me: the size of room was posted twice for the same price, I chose the one which included breakfast. I had selected this hotel over another because of the breakfast, but when I received the confirmation on my arrival day it said that breakfast was not available. It was too late to cancel and take the other hotel.
- Dominic (9/5): A quirky and delightful little oasis where you would not expect it. - This hotel is close to the lively center of town, yet far away enough to provide a quiet retreat. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The room and bathroom is incredibly spacious and the decor and is over the top throughout (in a good way 😊). Unfortunately, the pool was rather murky during our stay, so we didn’t go for a swim. The staff was working on the problem, but not in time for our short stay. At least the pool chairs provided a nice hangout spot.
- Jennifer (10/5): Everything you expect of a classic Mexican posada, thank you! - Colourful and charming, well located and great breakfast
- Ana (8/5): Enjoyable accommodation and great location! - Beds and shower were comfortable. Parking inside the property was very convenient. Our room door didn’t have a lock and the doorbell was a little loud for our room.
- Anna (8/5): Lovely hotel in great location. - Amazing location, 2 blocks from all the action. Very nice staff, and such a colorful hotel. Room was colorful and clean! Very quiet for being so close to everything. Breakfast was great! Secure parking. Pet friendly! Bed was not as comfortable as we would have hoped for the price. A little hard. Pillows were too high and stiff. Pool was cloudy, so chose not to use it.
- William (10/5): What a gem of a small, typical Mexican hotel, so close to all the things, tourists like to see! - Entering through the metal gate, into a beautiful Mexican courtyard was fantastic! What a joy and made my day before going any further. Beautiful colors and decorations, would have liked to stay longer but our itinerary didn't allow it. Also, this small hotel is very close to the main shopping areas and very walkable! All was great.
- Theresa (10/5): Exceptional - Quaint, clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The garden in the back was a lovely space to wind down in the evening. Breakfast was very satisfying. Not a thing.
- Syra (8/5): A beautiful mini hacienda - I stayed with my mom and daughter only one night and I must say the location was perfect, walking a few streets up you hit calle indipendencia where all the cute art shops are and restaurants. The hotel itself is secure behind a large gate and there was a receptionist that welcomed my family and I because we arrived very late. I requested a room on the ground floor because my mother is incapable of walking up steps and we were accommodated which I absolutely loved. The staff at Posada Margarita are excellent, the young lady that welcomed us and in the morning Victoria who served us breakfast and checked us out made my stay exceptional. The only thing I noticed was the AC was not working properly,at night and in the evenings it gets pretty warm and coming in late from our flight it got annoying going to reception 2x times to let her know the AC was not working(maintenance needs to check up these machines regularly) because she thought it was the remote and it wasn't. Also maybe spray pesticide every so often because there was a cockroach my mom saw.
- Lindsay (10/5): Exceptional - All of the staff were relaxed and kind, service was impecable. The property is absolutely lovely and my room was spacious and comfortable. The pool was wonderful and breakfast was delicious! 10/10 would book again! Gracias por todo!
- Daniel (10/5): Great boutique hotel in the heart of Tlequepaque! - Wonderful boutique hotel, and a great neighborhood. The design and aesthetic is especially appealing. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We highly enjoyed the breakfast, garden, and swimming pool.
- Daniela (8/5): Excellent location and CLEAN!!!! - I loved how clean the rooms are. The staff is very attentive. The breakfast is great. The rooms have AC air conditioner, however it is not very strong. This is a bed and breakfast, but the breakfast is not included.
- Kerry (9/5): Beautiful oasis in Tlaquepaque Centro - Beautiful grounds. It was like walking into an oasis when you entered from the street. I loved sitting in the garden area, listening to the birds. This hotel is super convenient to Tlaquepaque Centro (5 minute walk) but is very peaceful and very well-secured. The breakfast is awesome - made to order. The room was comfortable and clean, with AC and flat screen TV. Would 100% recommend. Nothing. It might be nice to have an espresso/cappuccino machine but that’s just me haha
- Patricia (9/5): This will be the hotel we will stay at always. Great location. Great Staff, Great rooms. - Great breakfast, the menu gives many selections. Excellent service from the staff. Had a septic smell from the drain in the bathroom. The staff attended to it immediately. The pool needs to be kept clean or a net available.
- Camilla (10/5): Exceptional - Breakfast awesome Nada
- Stephanie (10/5): A welcoming environment with a Hispanic cultural view. - Beautiful cultural and bright colors. Peaceful and well secured location. It provides Spa at good prices and warm breakfast. Plus it's walking distance to the attractions of Tlaquepaque.
- Deanna (9/5): Posada las Margaritas is a wonderful little hotel and I would not hesitate to recommend it! - On arrival, the unassuming gate/ front door of Posada las Margaritas leads to a cheery plant & art lined courtyard, pool area and garden. The lobby and dining area are filled with an array of plants and art. The garden features several areas with wrought iron furnishings where guests can gather. We took advantage of the amenity to enjoyed a bottle of wine and snacks one afternoon of our stay.
Our room was comfortable and spacious enough.
The location is a short walk to all the action right in the center of town.
The outstanding staff made our trip.
Sofia, the concierge on our arrival was personable, knowledgeable and extremely helpful in our request for restaurant/food selection…in a word, amazing. She directed us to several very authentic restaurants where our meals were not only very good but very reasonably priced. We had the opportunity to taste dishes that we had not experienced.
Victoria, the morning staff was warm, friendly and our server at breakfast. If I was nitpicking, our shower was small and doorless so water sprayed out onto the bathroom floor and unfortunately, the pool is located beneath trees that were constantly shedding buds & leaves into the water and onto the deck seating area.
- Thomas (10/5): favorite place in tlaquepaque - great internet, location, staff, facility bed too soft, i prefer a firm mattress, not a big deal
- Elisabeth (9/5): Excellent stay walking distance from everything! - Excellent location, close to everything, could walk to all the restaurants, stores etc.
Great breakfast and the staff was really friendly and welcoming! All great!
- Sharon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mary (10/5): It was the perfect place for us, loved the decor! - We loved everything about it! Location was great, staff super sweet, grounds beautiful, clean and safe. Close to action. Bed was comfortable and it was quiet at night. Will definitely go back! Zero!
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional -
- Georgette (10/5): Beautiful property with private parking and pet friendly in the heart of Tlaquepaque - Pet policies and protected parking and garden and decor. Sofia made a great recommendation for dinner restaurant. Property is lovely. We were warmly welcomed and felt at home right away. Breakfast nook/lobby warm and fresh Breakfast not as advertised. Higher prices than advertised. Breakfast was not as fresh and fun as it could have been. No orange juice. A refill on coffee would have been nice.
- David (10/5): Easy to find and access. A short walk to everything. Very helpful, knowledgeable staff. We will stay there again when we -
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Love the staff. So happy. The most beautifully colorful place we have stayed in Mexico. The bed was first class. Linens were great. LOVED the location, 2 short blocks to the main shopping and restaurants in Tlaquepaque, a flat and gentle walk. Good affordable breakfast.
SECURE PARKING FOR OUR CAR. Liked everything
- Lopez (9/5): We will definitely stay here again. - Really good Breakfast. Staff was all friendly especially Victoria.
We liked how secured the location was . The bathroom had a stuffy smell and all though they have a air freshener release it didn't really help. Other than that we loved the place and decor ❤️
- Benjamin (9/5): Tlaquepaque is beautiful - Beautiful Oasis in Tlaquepaque
- Tudi (8/5): Very Mexican & lovely spot! - The people we so nice! Wish there had been a refrigerator in the room
- Paul (6/5): Beautiful place, comfortable bed, good location, but for the money the key and TV should have worked - Key to room did not work
TV did not work
- Wilson (8/5): Very good -
- Armando (4/5): Disappointing - Breakfast Room was mediocre and the bed had mites.
- Georgina (7/5): Good - Great location. Great breakfast. Room was nice. Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely property with plenty of outdoor space. Had some complications during checkin but they sorted it out. We were there in December and it was unusually cold therefore rooms were quite cold.
- Robert (10/5): Great stay - Property was beautiful, well kept and close to main square. Staff were absolutely amazing and very helpful. Would most definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to visit Tlaquepaque
