Location is good, and room is a good size. - They made our stay very welcoming by giving us a special surprise for our wedding anniversary, including a complimentary bottle of Spumante. The stay was comfortable and the basic amenities were provided which was appreciated (soaps and breakfast). Location is also ideal! The distance from the port to the property isn’t far but with luggage it’s not the easiest walk in the sun. A free ride provided from and to the port would have been much appreciated and wouldn’t be such a burden to the accommodation provider. Also we were in a rush to check out but for the bike rental charge they could only take cash, luckily we had the money on us.

• Stephan (10/5): Eine wunderschöne Anlage mit tollem Frühstücksbuffet, abseits gelegen aber mit den Fahrrädern alles schnell erreichbar. - Alles, die Lage, das Personal, der wunderschöne Garten und der Service. Leider kam es am vorletzten Tag bei uns zu einem Missverständnis. Wir hatten eine Nacht verlängert und dies wurde nicht ordentlich kommuniziert, so dass unsere persönlichen Sachen willkürlich gepackt wurden. Es gab seitens dem Personal eine Entschuldigung.

They have in house transfer service as well. Maybe they could add a bench or something to the room under the window to be able to sit down. Some of the local bicycles should be repaired.

• Maselko (9/5): Bardzo dobre miejsce na wypoczynek - Wyśmienite miejsce na odpoczynek, domki skierowane frontem do ogrodu, miejsce ciche i do wypoczynku. Kilka minut piechotą do plaż, sklepu, restauracji. Śniadanie bardzo dobre i wystarczające, codziennie coś zmieniają aby było różnorodne. Można zamówić kolację. W pokoju lodówka, czajnik, kubki i szklanki. Przestronne pokoje i łazienka. Taras z wygodnymi fotelami. .
• Adina (8/5): Nice stay - Good location, very close to ferry by foot or bike. Bike can be rented directly from the accommodation. Breakfast is basic, but is good. Room was very clean and comfortable. The Superior room is not 50 m²; it is closer to 25–30 m², so do not expect 50 m². There was no bidet or bed nest in our room. This was not a problem for us, but do not expect the same as shown in the pictures. Some improvements could be made to the furniture, as there is no chair, table, or clothes hanger in the room. Also, in the bathroom there was only one small hook for towels and no soap dish.

Chickens and turtle walking around, breakfast is very good! The staff is nice, friendly and helpful, thanks a lot!!! We enjoyed our stay. A lot of mosquitos, but it is because of the location near the forest, not a hotel problem 🦟
• Will (8/5): - Bicycle hire was very useful and easy. The gardens were lovely and even had a resident giant tortoise. The staff were very friendly. The air-conditioning wouldn't run when you're out of the room which meant coming back to a very sweaty room after a day out. It's a good walk into the town but the bike hire solves this. Breakfast wasn't great aside from the omelette.

• Radoslav (9/5): - The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The hosts were kind and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was very relaxing. The only small downside was that it was a bit far from the beach if you're walking — but since everyone on La Digue gets around by bicycle, it wasn’t a real problem once I rented one. Overall, a great place to stay and good value for the island.
• Daniela (8/5): Das Omelette beim Frühstück war klasse, das Zimmer ok - Das Zimmer selbst war groß und das Badezimmer im Verhältnis sehr groß. Wir hatten einen kleinen Kühlschrank, der schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen war. Dazu gab es Utensilien für Kaffee, die wir gerne genutzt haben. Für zwei Nächte war die Unterkunft OK und wir wussten, dass wir keine Küchenzeile dabei hatten. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt würden wir unbedingt mit Küchenzeile buchen. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Sehr freundlich und herzlich war das Personal und das Frühstück war super. Sogar mein vegan lebender man hat ausreichend Speisen gefunden. Und mir hat das frisch zubereitete Omelette "mit allem" hervorragend geschmeckt, das war ein echtes Highlight an beiden Morgen. Vielen Dank dafür! 😊 Wir konnten über die Unterkunft auch Räder buchen. Sie haben uns recht gut gepasst, obwohl wir beide mit 2m und 1,92m sehr groß sind. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit auf la Digue.

Abbiamo apprezzato la formula di mezze pensione, la pulizia, la cortesia del personale , in particolar modo di Santochi che ogni giorno ha servito deliziose colazioni e cene con il sorriso ed una professionale gentilezza.
• Laura (10/5): Amazing stay - Me and my boyfriend really liked our stay at Chalet Bamboo Vert. The room was really nice and clean and the breakfast was good and rich. We particularly appreciated the kindness and sympathy of the staff. At our arrival at the reception they explained us the island and gave us some suggestions. During our stay it was my birthday and in accordance with my boyfriend, Santoshi (really nice girl of the staff) prepared a surprise for me. She made a beautiful flower composition on our bed with sparkling wine. It was beautiful! Also the gardener Clivers was really kind, he gave us some fruit from the trees and explained the local fruits and more about Seychelles. We also used the bike rental service and everything was okay with it; the bikes are not so new, but they do their job!

• Elmira (8/5): Very good value and welcoming hosts! - It was great value for money, excellent location, very sweet hosts, cozy, spacious rooms, bicycles available for rent, yummy breakfast with fruits, yogurt and a eggs, good big bathroom and the shower. Overall we had a great stay! Very hard mattress, no blankets (only bedsheet). There are lovely tortoises in the garden- but they are kept in a tiny enclosure. It was sad seeing how desperately it tried to climb out of there. I don’t know why they’re kept there, but if it is for no good reason and just for entertainment, then it looks very unethical to me. Free the tortoises! 🐢

• frederic (8/5): - Troisième séjour à Praslin, mais premier séjour au Bamboo. Nous n’avons pas tous les mêmes attentes quand nous voyageons. The Guesthouse est un très bon établissement, avec une excellente situation géographique : proche du ferry, proche d’Anse Source d’Argent, du take-away… même si, sur l’île de La Digue, il est vrai qu’il n’y a quasiment pas de « mauvaise » localisation tant l’île est petite. Il s’agit d’un grand guesthouse familial, organisé autour d’une vaste cour centrale, bordée de petites maisons abritant chacune deux chambres. L’accueil est chaleureux, et la location de vélos y est proposée à des tarifs attractifs. Le petit-déjeuner est correct. La seule réserve que j’ai concerne **la promiscuité** et **le vis-à-vis** très marqué. Il est difficile de se sentir vraiment chez soi : impossible, par exemple, de sortir nu de la douche dans la chambre sans être exposé directement sur la cour. Pour ceux qui restent dehors du matin au soir, cela reste peut-être acceptable. Mais même le soir, profiter de sa chambre rideaux ouverts n’est pas réellement possible. Toutes les chambres sont conçues selon la même logique : même le chemin menant au bungalow le plus isolé vous amène, en passant, à avoir une vue directe sur la chambre d’un autre. En résumé : un très bon guesthouse, bien placé et bien tenu, mais peu adapté à ceux qui recherchent de l’intimité. --- Le vis à vis

• Dinka (8/5): It was fine, but a pool is missing. - Our room was nice, but it had one technical issue, so we were moved to a large and beautiful beachfront apartment, MT Seaside Apartment. The owners and staff are very friendly, especially the young man named Sajith. The breakfast was excellent. We stayed only one night in Chalet Bamboo Vert, but we can say that the room was perfectly fine. We did not like the area for the turtles; it seemed that one of them had died, as it did not move at all while we were there. Also, our breakfast was served in that same area. MT Seaside Apartment – Although the beach is not ideal for swimming, it is pleasant for a quick refreshment when the sea is not pulled back. The chairs are comfortable, but the low wall at eye level blocks the beautiful sea view. There was quite a bit of broken glass on the beach, which we noticed only when the tide went out. It’s a miracle we didn’t cut ourselves. We believe the owners should take better care of the beach for the safety of their guests. A pool is also missing. Unfortunately, La Digue does not have many nice beaches.

Ce qui est inacceptable : prendre des décharges électriques dès que vous touchez à la robinetterie. Malgré nos complaintes, pour seule réponse et conseil : « gardez vos chaussures sous la douche et prenez une serviette pour actionner le robinet … » DANGER…

Pane burro uova, frutta marmellata, yogurt, tortina, noodles Non mi e’ piaciuto il fatto che sono stata un giorno su tre senza acqua! Io e mia figlia tornate da una giornata di mare ci siamo dovute lavare nella fontanella fuori con pochissima acqua. Visto l’accaduto potevano quantomeno “regalarmi” l’affitto delle biciclette… invece hanno voluto comunque i soldi (contanti pure) ! Per noi e’ stato un giorno di disagio, e fortunatamente non avevamo i capelli da lavare! Per quello che uno paga queste cose non dovrebbero accadere, o se accadono almeno lo staff deve venirci incontro in qualche modo

• Ziva (10/5): - Spacious and clean chalets, with a nice terrace to hang out on. The rooms are cleaned daily. The location is peaceful, around 10min to the jetty terminal by foot. You can rent bikes there for a fair price. Also, there is a really nicely kept garden on the property which you can enjoy. For breakfast there is enough to choose from every day. For dinner, there is usually a set menu (one evening we had a buffet) and the food is really tasty & plentiful (fish + meat + different side dishes). Drinks at dinner are not included but they’re not too expensive so we didn’t mind. The staff are always really nice and smiling which makes the stay even better. We would definitely come back if we ever get the chance to visit La Digue again :)

We were welcomed so warmly — the atmosphere was incredibly friendly and heartwarming from the very first moment. The breakfasts and dinners were simply delicious, full of fresh and tasty dishes. Our room was beautifully decorated for our honeymoon — such a thoughtful and romantic surprise! Everything was perfect, and we truly loved every moment of our stay. If we ever come back to Ladik Island, we will definitely stay in the same place again. Highly recommended!

• Izabella (10/5): Amazing staff and beautiful honeymoon surprise - We had a wonderful stay! The staff was extremely helpful and kind – they assisted us with everything we needed. It was also the only hotel (out of the five we stayed at) that prepared a beautiful honeymoon decoration and a lovely gift for us, which made our stay truly special. The location is perfect, close to everything. The breakfasts were very good and varied, with plenty of tasty options to choose from. We also highly recommend renting bikes from the hotel – great quality for a very good price. The bungalows look even nicer in real life than in the pictures. Thank you for making our honeymoon unforgettable!

• nglazkov (9/5): - The room is clean and nice. Location is okay, you can quickly go to any place by bicycle (recommend you to book it in the hotel). Staff is very friendly and everybody on kitchen is very helpful. Room equipped with AC and small fridge. The breakfast is nice and will let you start your day with full belly. Dinner is okay, the food is very tasty, but overpriced, drinks are not included. La Digue island is heavily exploited by tourism and prices are very inflated everywhere. I would say that for convenience, dinning in the place is your best option, but if you want to save money or try everyday different places and probably pay less for the food and drinks, I would recommend you to book without dinner and just reserve dinner in the hotel for when you feel lazy. Just for your information you can get some takeaway food around the island for one person around 6 euros and dinner in the hotel is around 25 euros (drinks pay aside)

We encountered several issues with the accommodation. The chalet was supposed to have a mosquito net and a bidet, but both were missing.
• marta (9/5): Fenomenal - La plantilla y su manager son excepcionales.Tuvimos un problema con el colchon puesto que era muy rigido y tengo una lesion y nos lo solucionaron. 3l lugar es muy bonito,t tanto ñas habitaciines que son amplias y muy limpias como las comunes donde se sirve el desayuno. • jorge (8/5): - El personal muy amable, sitio acogedor y habitación amplia y limpia con suficiente agua a presión. En las fotos aparecía una mosquitera en la habitación pero al llegar no había. La ventana del baño es muy baja y no está tintada, de manera que no hay privacidad. Depende del día la cena es menú o buffet, la bebida (incluida agua) va con precio a parte, no teníamos constancia de ello, podría estar más detallado.

So at the end they make you pay and take the money from the deposit. In 3 days they never changes our towels. Really bad cleaning service.

Das sSchilkrätengehege war leider viel zu klein, die Tiere leben in ihrem eigenen Dreck... Das Personal war extrem hilfsbereit. Die Bungalows sind in einem tollen Früchtegarten. • Nikita (10/5): Amazing place on La Digue - The hotel is located within walking distance from the port. If desired, you can walk to the north of the island to the beach Anse Patates. We really liked the hotel, the room was spacious, every day there was cleaning, there was a separate terrace for evening relaxation. The hotel has a large private territory with beautiful avocado and bread trees, there are turtles. In the morning there were very tasty and hearty breakfasts. The hotel also provides bicycles for 75 rupees, which is much cheaper than renting on the street. I would like to say a special thank you to the staff, they are always ready to help and were very kind. Thank you very much for this wonderful holiday on La Digue. -
• Isabel (8/5): very good - Spacious room, always very clean. Towels were changed every two days. Breakfast was complete, with fruit and eggs. Just one detail – it only starts at 8 a.m. The staff is very friendly and helpful, always smiling and kind. Good location – about a 10-minute walk from the port. The gardens are all very well maintained. Bicycles are available for rent – 75 rupees. I didn’t like seeing two giant tortoises kept in a small enclosure, where they can barely move, in the middle of the property – I didn’t understand the reason, but it feels cruel.
• Richard (10/5): Exceptional - We booked an option with dinner and it was very good idea. Food was amazing and there was plenty of it. The bed was very comfortable and surrounding is very peaceful and quiet. The staff is super nice and always helpful, they made our stay much nicer. It would be nice to know in advance that beverages are not included in the price of dinner, we found out during check out. It''s still fine, but would be better to be aware beforehand.
• Elena (8/5): Stayed three nights here, and was ok, but would not return because the beach is far. - Rooms are comfortable and big. Has breakfast and dinner, but not really thrilled with the food. Would not book it again. Property is far from the beach.
• Franciszek (10/5): Great place to stay on La Digue! - Very welcoming staff. Place is close to everything, yet a little bit away- so you can rest :)
• Petar (10/5): Excellent. - Location was great, you can easily walk to ferry spot, nearby restaurants, bakery, diving center if you want…very spacious room and bathroom. Nice breakfast, I even forgot it was included in price, hehe. Our room was on the corner so it was kind of separated fully from other rooms, with very nice balcony and garden. We also rented bikes here with price of 75 and not charged for the last day when our ferry was at 1.30pm. Kept our laguage on reception after check-out… Missing this place. Staff was also very nice and polite.
• Parind (8/5): Very good - Very helpful staff with great rooms and very comfortable. Location is a bit off from the main road with very few street lights making it difficult to walk. A blanket would have been good for the room.
• Cátia (5/5): Ok for a night but not much comfort - Lady that does the cleaning and serves at breakfast and dinner is very nice, lovely! The best thing about the place. Always trying to accommodate. Bikes to rent at a very good price. Family owned style place Generally a well located place to stay on a budget No covers or duvet for the bed , only a sheet. The fridge makes a lot of noise so had to switch off to sleep. AC is noisy. Breakfast quite poor. Dinner food only a set menu. Sometimes good sometimes not so good, but ok, just limited.

• Tracy (8/5): - Lovely little oasis set back from the coastal strip. Nice and quiet. Bathroom was surprisingly large and I loved the big shower. Easy bike hire from chalet and not far into town.
• Žan (10/5): A lovely stay. Would recommend. - It was a lovely experience. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were nice. Bikes and transportation were provided with reasonable prices. The toilet was making annoying noises all night. It was a bit hard to cool down the room, because you can’t leave the AC running when the key is not in the room. We understand why and it was not too bad. But still a bit annoying.
• Mikaelaj (10/5): Like home away from home - Atmosphere: There are only a few places where you can feel so at home. Chalet Bamboo Vert's personnel goes above and beyond what is expected. Their friendliness and availability is incredible. Thank you all for making our vacation so great! The food: It was simply great. We chose the halfboard not to be obliged to go out every night. And boy did we make the right choice! Breakfast consists of coffee/tea, juices, yoghurt, an assortment of fruits, toast w. toppings, pastry, a choice of eggs made in different ways and crepes. It is more than adequate to get you going for the day. Different coffees can be ordered on the side. The dinner was often a combination of salad, rice, fish cooked in different ways, meat or seafood + desert. The drinks are ordered on the side and are not included in halfboard. The food is delicious! Thank you chef Salinda for your excellent work! We could not have been happier with the food! This setup allowed us to try different creole tastes. The octopus was one of the best ones we've ever had. Another reason to smile is certainly Santoshi. You made our stay even more special, making us feel so at home. There is something so special about you, and we wish everyone could experience the kind of hospitality you offer. We cannot thank you enough ❤️ Bicycles: So easy to rent on spot. Great quality and if not, it's super easy to switch to another. We rented ours for 100 rupees/day/bike having them for 9 days. Location: Very good location, a 10 minute walk or 3 minute bicycle ride to the main street and the jetty. Quite a few smaller grocery shops within a few hundred meters, and the biggest one on the island less than 1.5 km away. Garden: A beautiful and well-kept garden with the bungalows scattered around. There are giant tortoises, roosters, chicken, cats and dogs on the premises, making the soundscape resembling that of a farm. We loved it! We could have made use of a second beside table. This has to do with the Seychelles, not the hotel per se: There is a big risk of getting mosquito bites and other insects bites. Prepare for that. And otherwise there is a pharmacy close by.
• Silvia (9/5): Nice and confortable place | - Spacious and very clean bungalows in a beautiful garden. Ideally located in La Passe, you can reach the jetty with a 10 mins walk. The staff is very kind and always available. Breakfast essential but with everything you may need. the bikes they provide ( not free of charge) could be better

• Adam (9/5): Great experience - Great place to stay on La Digue. Delicious dinners - various local meals each evening. Helpful staff. Location is pretty fine. Bed is quite short. I'm not a tall person, but i had the feeling that my feets are out of bed each night.

Big room...clean bedding and towels... coffee tea and sugar left each day Staff were super helpful Hired bikes from them cheaper than anywhere else The location was perfect Super chilled out and peaceful birds chirping ..local Cockerell every morning... Nothing
