- Jan (2/5): Terrible experience - After our arrival to Male we called the hotel from information desk at the airport. After that we were met by hotel representative. We were informed that hotel was full and they had no rooms for us. We were offered to stay in another hotel (City Grand). Unfortunately we had no other option - it was 10:30 pm and we were travelling with children. We booked our stay more than 2 months in advance, we ordered family room and expected good standard based on hotel review. Finally we had to spent a night in another hotel in two smelling rooms with the mold on walls and ceilings (especially in bathrooms) for higher price. On top of that, they refused paying by credit cards (sorry, the machine is not working...). Luckilly, I had some cash in USD.... I did not get any receipt as well. Except of standard continental breakfast, it was terrible expericence.....
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We arrived earlier than check in and waited for about 30 minutes before finally going to find someone who worked there. The front desk was empty as they were cleaning the rooms. After finding someone to assist us we allowed to check in early which was nice as we had been traveling. No issues after that. We enjoyed our stay.
