• Richard (10/5): Lovely home to stay in while visiting Rome - This was our first visit to Rome, so I was trying to figure out a good location for our lodging. I can highly recommend this apartment in Trastevere. It's in a lovely neighborhood, not too busy and not too touristy, but plenty of restaurants and activity. And it's very close to several bridges across the Tiber River that in a few minutes walk will take you into the Heart of Rome or, walking north, to the Vatican. The Coliseum, Forum, etc, are further away, but you can still walk there in about 30 minutes. The apartment itself is in a historic building, but has an updated kitchen and bath and comfortable beds. It's very large, and perfect for a family of four. And I can't say enough good things about Paola. She was so helpful every step of the way, from advising us on transportation options from Roma Termini to the apartment, meeting us with the keys, giving us an overview of what to do in Rome and where to eat, and helping us get to the airport when it was time to leave. Plus, she provided plenty of breakfast items, coffee, and wine for us! You won't regret staying here! If you are taking public transportation, it will most likely involve transferring from subway to bus or two bus lines. We mainly walked everywhere, and occasionally took a taxi home from distant destinations, and it was not an issue for us.
• Helen (10/5): Clean, comfortable, stylish apartment in interesting, vibrant area just off the beaten track. - The apartment had a lovely traditional Italian character, I loved the terracotta tiled floors, the antique furniture, the artwork and the lace curtains. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean.
• José Antonio (9/5): - Si lugar a dudas destacaría la amabilidad y disponibilidad de Paola (nos recibió a las 9 de la mañana y pudimos recoger las llaves, dejar las maletas y disfrutar de Roma desde el minuto uno), la limpieza del apartamento y la ubicación, ya que está lo suficientemente cerca/lejos de todos los lugares importantes como para no tener que coger un autobús en los cuatro días que estuvimos. No esperábamos tener a nuestra disposición nada para desayunar, así que agradecimos el detalle de que nos dejaran pan de molde, mantequilla, mermelada, infusiones y café. Un buen detalle, la verdad. Igual que la botella de vino. Por otra parte, el apartamento está abastecido con todo lo necesario en cuanto a electrodomésticos, productos de limpieza, menaje, etc.. con lo cual, no echamos nada en falta durante las vacaciones. Hemos recomendado la casa a amigos que tienen previsto viajar próximamente y, sin duda, si volviéramos a Roma nos alojaríamos aquí.

Paola was easily accessible to us through the messaging on booking app. She gave us detailed directions on how to get to the apartment from the airport. She then met us at the street and gave us keys and showed us around the place. She was available to us the entirety of our stay and helped with several questions we had. The location was great...in trastevere but a little away from the busier sections.

Struggled with feeling comfortable in the apartment due to lack of air conditioning. Lack of natural light in lounge area gave it a dreary feel, more lamps would easily improve.

Temperatur war im Zimmer dennoch in Ordnung, könnte bei höheren Außentemperaturen aber deutlich steigen

She made sure our arrival was smooth and explained everything so carefully. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed. Our host even made sure we had a bottle of wine chilled in the fridge. Location was absolutely perfect to get to all major sights and so close to many restaurants, food markets and supermarkets. Excellent all round and was so happy there. Thank you Paolo - you made Rome a wonderful experience! Clean and bed very comfortable. Had washing machines and dishwasher and all the essentials for cooking and cleaning.

• Justin (10/5): A restful comforting space in a great area of Rome - It felt like we were renting a home, not just an apartment. It was very functional, warm and comfortable. The owner provided so many extras including a nice bottle of wine but also very practical things that made our time there very easy. We liked the high ceilings and large windows, the location was excellent and so close to the vibrant atmosphere of the Trastavere night life that we could dip in and out at our leisure. It was a pleasure to return to this home each time and we slept very well after our days sightseeing. Nothing.

The beds were really comfortable even the single beds. Paola the host was so lovely and helpful. She works hard to keep the place immaculate.. It was one of our favorite places to stay in italy. We loved the large windows, personal decorations and other little touches. Paola was an amazing host - she went above and beyond and even ordered us a taxi for the airport. We were very happy she had left some breakfast items to eat while we waited out a rain storm. The wifi was down, but the TV worked and we had our data plan so it worked out fine.

It was great to be able to use the washing machine as the weather was hot. It was easy to find somewhere good to eat out, but equally the kitchen was well equipped for dining in. It was pretty much all good. One lamp seemed to have a faulty connection.

• Los4bs (10/5): When in Rome, stay at Casa in Trastevere - Paola's elegant Casa in Trastevere was our introduction to Rome. The apartment is spacious, fully furnished, and well appointed. We stayed only two nights, but felt like we could live there for years! We were a bit worried that the lack of air conditioning would be an issue for our summer visit but with windows open and fans on the summer temperature cooled for a pleasant sleep. While bustling the Trastevere restaurants and nightlife are a short walk away, the apartment is far enough that noise levels are mellow. In a true heat wave the the lack of AC could be an issue.

The house was spotless and comfortable for our family of 4. Paola was readily available to help with anything and called a cab to the airport for us the morning of our departure. We loved the home’s location in the vibrant Trastevere neighborhood and the ease to access other areas of Rome.

The property is in a central Rome location close to the wonderful restaurants of Trastevere. The Casa is located on the first floor, (lift if required), spacious and homely and has everything you need and definitely book again.

The host, Paola makes our stay in Rome so memorable. She is very kind and waiting for us to help with the luggage both before check-in & check-out. She calls Taxi for airport and ensure we pay fixed price. The apartment is very spacious, two room and full eqipped kitchen with stock Paolo prepared for us, wine, beer, yogurt & bread. Eventhough there is a restaurant below apartment and my husband is very light sleeper, there's some noise but we managed to close the window shutter and it worked so well for us. We have very good sleep. So, no problem even with a light sleeper like us. The location is in center of Trastevere with loads of restaurants & bars but quiet enough to have peaceful nights. Will def come back if we come back to Rome again. None
• Michael (10/5): Charming location, will definitely return - Excellent location, slightly away from the tourist crowds, yet just a few steps from the abundance of restaurants in Trastevere. Most of Rome's attractions are within walking distance, but it's most convenient to reach the apartment by taxi since there is no public transportation nearby. A taxi from the airport costs 50 euros, and from the train station, it's 20 euros. The apartment is very spacious with a cozy, old-fashioned atmosphere. The beds are very comfortable, and the quality of the linens is excellent. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, including a dishwasher and washing machine with laundry essentials provided. The apartment's host, Paola, is very hospitable and helpful. She bought breakfast supplies for us and even special Easter treats. She also helped us a lot with choosing local restaurants and making reservations. If it weren't for Paola, our vacation in Rome wouldn't have been so wonderful! As many have already mentioned, the window soundproofing is not very good. However, this didn't bother us because there usually isn't a large flow of tourists passing by during the night and evening
• Gottesman (9/5): Spacious, clean and comfortable apartment in Trestevere - The location was terrific, a 3-minute walk from the center of Trestevere but quiet enough to avoid much of the nighttime noise. Paola the host was lovely and took care of the cleaning in advance of our visit. She also allowed us to store our luggage in the apartment ahead of check-in. The apartment is very homey, not just a sterile corporate place. Close to lots of great restaurants and public spaces. Easy walking distance to the major sights.

• Ram (10/5): Gem in Trastavere - We greatly enjoyed our stay at The Casa in Trastavere. Paola, the host, met us at the property to check us in and orient us with the amenities at the apartment. She even had Xmas cake and Prosecco waiting for us. The kitchen has all the essentials like coffee, etc. so one can get their day going. The washing machine was super handy after 7 days on the road. The living room was nicely furnished with a Smart TV which allowed us to stream Netflix. The 2 bedrooms were roomy and the beds were comfortable. The duvet was heavenly and kept us warm and toasty during those winter nights in Rome. The Casa is ideally located with all the attractions of Trastavere within a 10 minute walk. We enjoyed strolling down Via Scala to the many restaurants and cafes which were lively with people well into the night. There is a cafe in the building itself serving coffee, pastries and lunch. There is also a restaurant next door although we did not try it. Getting to the sites in Rome was very easy. We could call a cab (using TaxiNow app) and get to the station or the Colosseum or Vatican in 15 minutes. We even walked to the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona and the Vatican stopping along the way to sample the market at Campo Fiore. On Xmas day we walked up to Jianluca hill which is right behind the Casa for lovely view of Rome. I highly recommend the Casa for your stay in Rome. And Paola is a terrific host. Everything was perfect

• Kelly (10/5): Beauty in fantastic Trastavere. - The location was in the heart of Trastavere with many cafes, restaurants and authentic buildings. Easy to reach all the tourist locations. The apartment was beautiful and had the full ambience of Italy. Everything to make the visit comfortable was in the apartment. Paola was wonderful and always available if needed. It was a little noisy from the street, this is to be expected in the great location. We would happily stay here again.

• Minttu (10/5): Perfect place in Trastevere - The apartment was perfect! Spotlessly clean and much bigger than what it looks like in the pictures. Location was great, not in the busy part of Trastevere but close enough. Very good local restaurant downstairs, botanical garden right next door. The apartment had every facility one would need. Beds were comfortable and had many pillows too. It was perfect for a couple and two single people, since we could move the other single bed to the livingroom so everyone had their own space. Paola was very helpful, flexible and kind. I would definitely stay here again. -
• Andrew (10/5): My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. Fabulous place. - Amazing location, very close to the city centre with easy access to Trastavere. Light sleepers might struggle because the bedrooms face the street and there’s a restaurant on the ground floor.

• Grgboss (10/5): Exceptional - Big Space. Room for everyone. Kitchen well equiped. Paola was very nice and helpful. The apartment is well located next to everything in a good neighborhood with plenty of good quality restaurants. well located with a walking distance to all the tourist sites. Thank you and we enjoyed our stay.
• Karen (10/5): Great! - The property is clearly well-kept and there was pride of ownership. Paola was excellent to interact with. She kindly left some bread and jam for us for breakfast, and had other little additions that were much appreciated, including a decent hairdryer! She also arranged a taxi for us. The bedding was very comfortable, and she thoughtfully provided different pillow options which we much-appreciated. You can hear some noise from the restaurant below but it didn’t go late and did not disturb us. The space is bigger than the pictures suggest, although the shower is a bit tight. would have liked an additional top sheet (pure preference - one of us runs hot and the other runs cold, so would have appreciated one of us having a lighter option than a duvet.
