- Lai (7/5): I will still come back here because of the excellent location. - Great location. It was my first visit to the Golden Triangle and to be able to look out from the room at the Monument was a happy moment. Walk across to the temple and a short hike took me up to the viewpoint of the confluence of Burma, Laos and Thailand. We also booked a cruise up and down the Mekong at 6.00pm to view the developments on both sides of the river .. an eye opening experience as the Laos side is now very well developed. Beautiful weather for a cruise at this time of the year Hardly any service as the Reception is unmanned although the Staff appears when you ring the bell. Rooftop was under renovation.

Breakfast was only toast and spread; perhaps some more options would be good. We didn’t mind, but be aware it can be noisy from the river at night.

Great location which is located at the Golden Triangle tourist spot. The bathroom should have separate dry and wet area. The entire bathroom become wet after shower.

- Romy (9/5): Would recommend - Location is perfect. The view was beautiful. You can even see the Mekong River while laying in bed. Wats, Food stalls and restaurants are within walking distance. You’ll find a 7-Eleven just next to the hotel. -
- Stephen (7/5): Just the job for a one or two night stay in the area. - The location is excellent for the Golden Triangle town. It's a short walk to the Mekong and the Triangle and just across the road from the Museum on the Opium Trade. The room was comfortable and of a good size, if a little dated and in need of a spruce. There was some bread, jam and a toaster at the end of the hall for breakfast. There's a lovely roof terrace which you have access too and looks like it has been used for breakfasts or a restaurant area in the past, shame it's no longer in use.

Though the hotel has aged, the design and upkeep was good As it was located right opposite the Golden Triangle overlooking Mekong river, there were many traders. Few were blasting music very loud. Maybe it was right after 12am new year, there was a group of youngsters, drunk and probably high on drugs blasting music from 2 vans until 4am in the morning. The room sound proof was very poor.

- Verified traveler (4/5): - Nobody at reception when we arrived. The room was small, I booked a superior room if that was superior I don't know what the regular must be like. Breakfast was a toaster and bread and jam,cook your own in the hallway. Location noisy .Would not recommend this hotel
- Richard (10/5): Good deal in a great location, upgrade to balcony. - Great hotel for price. Make sure you pay the little bit extra for balcony and river view. My travel mate didn’t and had a sub par experience as his room was not updated and had no balcony or view.
