• McEvoy (8/5): We had a lovely stay in this very central hotel with sizeable rooms and great features - The location was excellent being very central to all major sites and a short distance to most. Our room was a good size, very clean and the bonus was a sizeable balcony. Breakfast was very good with a great choice available. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We had breakfast on the roof terrace which was lovely but accessible to seagulls who were very eager to sample the food too. Perhaps consideration should be given to some form of bird deterrents.

Special thanks to Agatha for her exceptional help . Location is ideal . Daily breakfast and rooftop venue is phenomenal. Single room was somewhat basic but rest of facility made up for it.

• Linda (7/5): - The hotel has an excellent location — taxis can drop you off directly at the entrance, which is very convenient for Rome. It is perfectly situated in the middle of everything worth visiting, with most attractions only a 10–15 minute walk away. Our room was very comfortable and extremely clean, but the terrace was definitely the highlight of the room. The bed was also very comfortable, and overall we really enjoyed the stay. The rooftop terrace was probably one of the best we visited in Rome. We spent a lovely evening there having drinks, and there was even a live singer performing in the square below, which made the atmosphere feel very special. The evening staff and waiters had amazing energy and made the experience even better. The only small thing was that the cocktails were a bit too strong for our taste. Breakfast was okay, however I did not enjoy the interaction with one of the morning waiters, who unfortunately seemed quite unfriendly toward me from the moment I arrived. That was the only thing that slightly affected my overall impression, otherwise we had a very nice stay.

The room had everything we could have wanted including complimentary toiletries, fridge, safe, dressing gown, slippers - even a bottle opener. Breakfast on the roof terrace overlooking the buildings of Rome was a delight. The central location. We would stay here again if visiting Rome. It was quiet yet in the heart of things. We were able to walk almost everywhere we went. Nothing, but it would be helpful to have a little more drawer space.

• Malcolm (10/5): - We had a wonderful three day stay at the Otivm! Our room was nicely appointed with a comfortable bed, nice big towels, and plenty of hangers in the closet (important!). The roof bar is quite lovely for breakfast or an aperitif. The staff are all very friendly, knowledgeable, and Lucca the manager is a wonderful guy who has great recommendations. Plus the location is excellent, especially for a first-time visit to the Eternal City. Highly recommended!

Говорят, все дороги ведут в Рим, добавлю, а в Риме - все дороги ведут к этому отелю. Согласитесь - это очень удобно и приятно. Что касается персонала, то, как большинство римлян, они жизнерадостны, приветливы и простодушны. Общение с ними - одно сплошное удовольствие. Очень хорош управляющий Лука, который сможет ответить на любой ваш исторический, философский или бытовой вопрос, его молодые и симпатичные помощники тоже на высшем уровне. И ведь когда очаровательная девушка вдруг начинает говорить с вами по-русски - это что-то да значит! А завтрак на веранде - это что-то невероятное! Это настоящий театр на крыше. Это спектакль одного актера - имя его Джоржо. Он так артистично вас обслуживает, что возникает ощущение, будто вы участвуете в итальянской комедии Дель Арте. Но не только Джорджо и не только парящие над вами чайки, но и сам вид с веранды - сделают ваше утро в Риме незабываемым! А проведенное в отеле время - превосходным! Otivm - отель в который хочется вернуться!

Some things in the hotel and the rooms are a bit dated (the decor, the drains in the shower fill up), but it’s an older building in a great location, so perhaps to be expected

• Kay (9/5): Tipptopp - Sehr zentral gelegenes Hotel. Wir hatten ein ruhiges und großes Zimmer mit komfortablem Bett. Sauberkeit, Service und Frühstück waren ebenso sehr gut, einziges Manko, was der Lage und den örtlichen Gegebenheiten geschuldet ist, daß es bei Regen oder Kälte nur eine eingeschränkte Anzahl an geschützten Sitzplätzen zum Frühstücken gibt. Das wird aber mehr als aufgewogen durch ein Frühstück bei schönem Wetter auf der Dachterrasse.

Ojo con dejar comida sin vigilat ya que las gaviotas tienen por costumbre robar alimentos en los platos que ven solos encima de las mesas. Talvez le falte algo de personalidad en la decoración.

A little different setup than most rooms we lived in. People sharing the room need to be comfortable seeing each other showering with transparent class shower set up.

• Feride (1/5): Unsafe and disappointing - Nothing Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I booked this hotel for 3 nights, but had to leave the same day. As soon as I entered the room, there was a strong, unpleasant chemical smell. It was obvious they were using chemicals to mask another odor — without informing guests. After just 15 minutes in the room, my sister had an allergic reaction (swelling and a severe headache), so we were forced to check out immediately. We stayed less than 2 hours. The receptionist initially admitted that they were aware of the smell and that the rooms are regularly treated with chemicals, and that there was nothing they could do about it. However, later the management completely denied any issue. They refused to provide a proper refund despite the health risk and the fact that we could not stay in the room. To make matters worse, I did not receive any refund from the hotel at all. The only compensation I received was a small partial refund from Booking.com, not from the property. After I left an honest review about this situation, the hotel publicly responded by calling me a liar. They falsely claimed that I simply didn’t like the hotel and chose to leave, which is not true. They also falsely stated that I had been refunded, which is completely untrue. This is not just poor service — this is a complete disregard for guests’ health and safety, combined with dishonest and unprofessional behavior. Worst hotel, worst service, and absolutely unacceptable attitude towards customers. Avoid this place

• Sandra (10/5): - Die Lage ist sehr zentral für Besichtigungen und ein Busbahnhof (z.B. regelmäßige Busse Richtung Bahnhof Termini) sowie ein kleiner Supermarkt und gute Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir haben bei der Ausstattung des Zimmers und beim Frühstück nichts vermisst und alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und bemüht.

• Maps216093 (10/5): Great room in a great spot - The Otium is in a great location. One can see the Capitaline Museum and the Victor Emmanuel monument from the roof top. The roof is also the dining area with just wonderful views all around. The room (king bed) was clean and relatively spacious. In a past trip we stayed in a room with a balcony which was nicer than the king room (more room and a separate sitting area). Would stay there when we visit Rome again.

Центр Рима-круглосуточный шум,окно открыть нельзя!Мы попали в период когда включить кондиционер на холод было еще невозможно из-за невысокой температуры на улице.Без кондиционера тяжело.Неудобные подушки,но это субъективно.

• Aimee (10/5): Das Zuhause in Rom - Stilvoll eingerichtetes Hotel an bester Lage mit sympathischem und aufmerksamen Personal. Zimmer und Bad waren toll, und inbesondere auch die Betten sehr komfortabel - wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Ebenfalls grosses Plus: Sehr gut isolierende Fenster. Man ist mitten in Rom, Gehdistanz zu zahlreichen Attraktionen, und hat doch absolute Ruhe. Gerne wieder.

• Pascal (10/5): Super Kurzurlaub - Sehr freundliches Personal, besonders Georgio, er hat uns Café und Cappucino auf die Dachterasse gebracht obwohl dies eigentlich mitte März noch geschlossen war. Super Lage im Zentrum, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig bequem erreichbar. -

Nous ne devions pas être assez jeunes pour eux .

Luca and all of his staff were very kind, helpful, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. This made our stay extra special. This was our third visit and again it did not disappoint. We would certainly recommend the Otivm hotel and we will definitely return again. Thanks again to Luca and everyone from reception staff, breakfast staff and cleaners. • Monika (10/5): Hervorragend - Wir waren vor ein paar Tagen für sechs Nächte in diesem wunderschönen Hotel in Rom und sind absolut begeistert. Die Lage ist einfach perfekt – sehr zentral, sodass man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten bequem zu Fuß erreichen kann. Das Hotel selbst ist eher klein, aber genau das macht seinen besonderen Charme aus. Alles wirkt sehr gemütlich und persönlich.Ich habe noch nie in einem Hotel so gut geschlafen wie hier. Das gesamte Team ist außergewöhnlich freundlich und bemüht, sodass man sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen fühlt. Auch der Inhaber ist sehr aufmerksam und kümmert sich herzlich um seine Gäste – das merkt man sofort. Ein weiteres Highlight ist die wunderschöne Rooftop-Bar. Dort kann man den Tag perfekt ausklingen lassen und die Atmosphäre über den Dächern von Rom genießen. Für uns war der Aufenthalt rundum gelungen

• Éva (6/5): Szép szálloda, de ár értékarányban nekem nem jött be - Szálloda elhelyezkedése kiváló, a szobák tiszták, reggeli bőséges. Superior szobánkban sötét volt, mert kb 4 méterre volt egy másik háznak az erkélye. A fürdőszobában hideg volt.
