- P927VUjohnr (8/5): Warm and friendly - Our main impression was the friendliness of the staff here, they even made sure we had not left anything when checking out. The rooms are also lovely with character, the en-suite shower room and toilet was excellent. The hotel has two lovely pools (water is clean) and is right next to the beach on to the South China Sea. Some plastic pollution but not that much, and that’s the world we live in. Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of food and drink, and the restaurant building was attractive. Overall, yes we could come back again.

- Beatrix (10/5): Relaxing and joyful - It was my birthday during my stay at Viva. The staff went above and beyond for it, even making me a birthday cake! I felt very well taken care of.
- Max (9/5): Fantastic, luxurious and affordable. - The staff were the friendliest, most professional and welcoming people we have met. They were classy and polite. The place itself is gorgeous, with a fantastic sunset / sunrise view. The pool makes up for the beach when the tide comes in. The room itself was comfortable and luxurious and the balcony offers a fantastic view of the mountains behind. Minor issues such as a wobbly balcony bannister that could be a health and safety risk, as well as a wobbly pool ladder. Overall it would benefit from a small upgrade but in general it is fantastic value.

Outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi. Several restaurants and small shops nearby. When leaving, the person at the reception arranged for the bus to pick us up from there, so there was no need for a taxi.

Plenty of nearby restaurants to eat at. Unfortunately the rooms advertised aren't what we received. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and the showers leaked. Some of our own food/drink was binned during the day we can only presume when the rooms were cleaned which was strange. Sunbeds could do with an update as they are just wooden with no comfort. No a good value for money unfortunately.

- Sofia (7/5): Great for relaxing but the sewage smell put it down - The poolside sunbeds facing the sea were by far the best! Breakfast wasn’t great, and it smelt like sewage in certain areas like by the pool and in the bathroom. So that wasn’t very pleasant.
- Wolfe (7/5): Good - The room was clean with a large bathroom and very comfortable and they sent housekeeping in everyday. The picture's very misleading because there is no beach in front of the hotel. The ocean washes up against a seawall and it's difficult to get in the water. Staying on the third floor means going up three flights of stairs which for me was not a big deal but I can imagine for an elderly person it would be a little much seen as there's no elevator option

It was dark and a bit musty. However once I spoke to staff they changed us to room that we had booked. There were a lot of stairs to climb but that was fine for us. It would be great if there were cushions on the sun lounges by the pool.

- Charline (7/5): This hotel is adequate. - The hotel is very clean, the bathroom was nice. The staff are very helpful and nice. the pool area is lovely. The bed was rock hard, like sleeping on a board. The sunbeds are also hard has just wooden slats, need some cushions. The breakfast area was all long tables, I felt like I was in a school dinner hall. The breakfast very limited choice. Some health and safety issues need to be addressed, the balcony railing in our top floor room unfixed at one end, stair railing also very loose.

Noise from both hotel guests and staff. The round-the-clock industrial noise from air conditioners, ventilation, fan system, etc. was especially disturbing. The pool is small and, as it seemed, with not very clean water. The sea is dirty, and there is no safe descent to the sea. Breakfast was too poor.

- Elizabeth (7/5): Good - Clean rooms, nice staff. Beautiful pool area. Bumping bass dance music all night until 3 am a couple doors away- not the resorts fault. Pillows were uncomfortable. I thought this had a sandy beach but there was a sea wall and apparently this area the beach is gone. There was sandy beach approximately a half mile south of here.

- Derek (8/5): Perfectly good seaside budget hotel with some nice extras like good service and decent breakfast - The staff were excellent. When we had a travel issue on the day of our departure they helped sort it out. Whilst we were there every need was attended to. They moved us to the correct room at the end of the first evening. The pool area is peaceful. The breakfast, while limited, was absolutely fine and safe and freshly cooked options like eggs to order and fresh noodle soup were good. Good value for money. Whilst staff work hard on maintenance, the property looks in need of a refresh and has an older feel to it.

I wouldn’t say this hotel has a beach access. Theoretically, there are stairs down to the very narrow beach or straight to the sea depending on the tide.

There's direct access to the beach right from the hotel, but swimming isn't always convenient since the waves hit the hotel walls like they do on cliffs, often causing the beach to disappear. However, it's a great spot to watch the waves and listen to them crashing—it’s really soothing. During my stay, I did encounter two large cockroaches, so be cautious. Also, don’t open the doors after dark, as insects swarm inside instantly. The hotel looks a bit worn, likely due to its proximity to the sea—the salt has taken its toll on the property. Breakfast is simple and probably not for everyone: typical Vietnamese coffee, bread, jam, an option for fried eggs, plus some fruits and other dishes—a standard Vietnamese breakfast. The staff are polite, which is a plus. Note that there's no elevator in this three-story hotel. The mattress is thin, but surprisingly, we slept very well, lulled by the sound of the waves. For the stunning view and the sound of the ocean, I’d give it an 8 out of 10.

- Ng (10/5): Come and try. - The breakfast was great, we are just expecting a simple breakfast but what we had was complete full meal 👌☺️❤️ to wit, bread, pho, juice, coffee, fruits, jam, butter, yogurt not to mention that the hotel rate is so cheap. Clean and fresh smell linen. I highly recommend this hotel to all tourists. Near this hotel is a seafood restaurant "Hong Phat", kind owner who gives us discount and free dessert. Nothing that i would not like in this hotel. Superb service, nice and friendly staff, very accommodating. The receptionist can understand a little English, anyway, we have translation now a day.

- Raymond (6/5): Pleasant - The Staff were very helpful and nice, Breakfast was good, the weather was nice, The Sat TV was very good with American and English Films. The Rock Hard Sun Beds around the pool, so uncomfortable, the Pool area needs painting with the repaired Safety Rails which are Broken, this Hotel has uncomfortable Beds, no Bedside Lamps, the only person who understands some English is the nice Receptionist, all other Staff only speak and understand Vietnamese. I would certainly not return to this Hotel which is very Basic and uncomfortable.

Secondly, rooms are clean and the room were we stayed had an amazing view. Thirdly, the hotel itself is very beautiful, especially the pool area. However, pay attention that there is no beach. Fair price, good breakfast, would highly recommend! :)
