- Linda (8/5): Hôtel très mignon - Hôtel très mignon, vous êtes au dessus d’un café super ! Le personnel est adorable. Les lits étaient très confortables. Légèrement bruyant avec la Clim mais nous n’avons pas entendu la rue car nous étions du bon côté. Le vrai plus est le petit déjeuner que vous pouvez prendre au café d’en dessous. L’hôtel fourni d’ailleurs des petites gourmandises faites par celui ci dans la chambre ! Salle de bain un peu vétuste mais très correct pour une ou deux nuit
- Leander (7/5): Solides Hotel für einen Kurztrip nach Krabi, ohne WLAN!! - Sehr schönes Hotelzimmer in der Stadt Krabi, besser wenn man etwas mehr Ruhe haben will als in Ao Nang. Zimmer wahr sehr schön gestaltet, hat an nichts gefehlt, Bett war bequem. Frühstück nicht im Hotel buchen sondern direkt unter im Restaurant bezahlen, wir hatten morgens einen Bowl für 180 Bath, das Hotel wollte 350 Bath pro Person für das Frühstück haben. Man ist ein wenig ab vom Schuss, man kann aber mit dem Boot alles erreichen und bis zum Boot sind es auch nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Tipp: Abends ins Ruean Phae Restaurant am Hafen gehen, sehr lecker alles und auch gut besucht von den Locals, Preislich auch sehr günstig Klimaanlage war sehr laut, sodas wir diese Nachts ausschalten mussten um zu schlafen, Zimmertüren sind sehr hellhörig sodass wir immer unsere Zimmernachbarn sehr deutlich gehört haben, wenn diese gekommen oder gegangen sind. Zudem auch immer mal Geräusche von außerhalb wahrnehmbar, aber das ist eher normal in der Stadt. Zudem ist das Zimmer sehr feucht, Handtücher trocken nicht wirklich, sie werden aber auch jeden Tag getauscht, daher ist das nur ein Problem für die eigenen Klamotten. Kein WLAN im Zimmer, am ersten Abend wurde es neu gestartet, dann ging es 1h und dann nie wieder. Weiß leider nicht, wie man dass in dem Land geschafft hat, man hat eigentlich ja überall WLAN.

Bad smell in the room and reception. Very high humidity and mold around the AC-opening. Very thin walls to our neighboor guests.

- ibrahim emre (10/5): - Tesis merkezi bir konumda, tertemiz ve güzel dekore edilmiş. Çok güzel bir kafenin üzerinde yer alıyor. Daha önce yaşamadığım bir deneyim olarak kafenin içerisinden giriş çıkış yapılıyor. Hatta kafe kapandıktan sonra hiç kimsenin olmadığı bomboş kafeden geçiliyor. Ne güzel bir deneyim. Odada bir dripper ve kahve çekirdekleri vardı. Kendi kahvenizi yapabilirsiniz. El yapımı kurabiyeler vardı ve bir kavanoz dolusu. Hepsi otelin ikramı. Ayrıca akşam kapımızın önüne tatlı bir sepette bir kek ve sütler koymuşlar. Muhteşem bir hizmet vardı. İnşaat kaynaklı 2 kere kısa süreli su kesintisi oldu ama hemen çözüldü. Önemli bir şey değil.

- Dina (10/5): Excellent stay in a lovely hotel. - Everything. Location was convenient to everything. Walking distance to night market and river walk and lots of restaurants. Lovely special touches in the room - snacks, water and grind your own coffee. Staff is lovely and the cafe downstairs awesome! Beds are very very comfortable & high quality linens & towels & toiletries. Nothing. But we have no problem with spiral stairs. There might be an elevator , but that wouldn’t be an option after 6 pm so if you have mobility issues be aware.
- Romina (9/5): Super Stop Over für eine Nacht - Wie schon öfter erwähnt: Kaffee auf dem Zimmer hervorragend, Gebäck im Zimmer mit Milch bei der Ankunft und Cookies im Zimmer. Hier steckt viel Liebe im Detail! Zudem sehr freundliches Personal, dass beim Gepäck hilft-schon gut, da kein Aufzug! Auch mit Baby war es super, wir konnten den Kinderwagen im Café im EG stehen lassen! Die Duscharmaturen gehören dringend erneuert, rosten schon.
- DAVID (8/5): Very good - Lovely rooms and staff very helpful A member of your staff at Reception recommended a bike rental shop which we went to .We had a very bad experience there with us ending up being stranded due to a slow puncture on the bike and the proprietor charging us for this .It doesn't look good on your hotel recommending them .A different member of your staff was very very helpful and even came with us to the bike shop to sort it out..My attached picture shows the bike shop directions from hotel .Please anyone reading this avoid the bike shop they will scam you

- Katrin (7/5): - Uns hat es gut gefallen .Personal sehr freundlich, Lage super. Leider hatten wir ein sehr feuchtes Zimmer, welches extrem nach Schimmel gerochen hat. Dadurch waren wir froh, nach 2 Tagen wieder abzureisen.

Etwas ungewöhnlicher und mit Koffer komplizierter Eingang über eine schmale Wendeltreppe durch das Café. Leider kein Frühstück inklusive.

- Peter (4/5): Leider das falsche Hotel gebucht! - Das Zimmer war sauber. Eigentlich nur für Backpacker geeignet oder für junge Leute mit leichtem Gepäck! Das Hotel ist nicht wie beschrieben nur in den „oberen Stockwerken nur mit Treppen“ zu erreichen. Das GANZE Hotel ist nur über Treppen zu erreichen! Der Empfang liegt im 1.OG. Dorthin führt eine extrem enge, steile Wendeltreppe mit sehr schmalen Stufen. Bei Check-in nach 17:00h ist dann keiner mehr da, der einem Hilft, große, schwere Koffer nach oben zu bringen! Für ältere Leute unzumutbar!!! Die Suite, die angeblich aus separaten Wohn- und Schlafzimmern besteht, ist ein einziger großer Raum ohne die geringste Trennung! Dysfunktional eingerichtet, ohne Ablagemöglichkeiten neben dem Bett, im Doppelzimmer nur ein Stuhl, kein Sessel, „Sofamatraze“ auf Boden, Waschbecken im Schlafzimmer statt im Bad, TV channel mal empfangbar, im nächsten Moment wieder nicht. Der Balkon gleicht eher einem Taubenkäfig als einem Balkon! Personal teils seeehr höflich, teils extrem Arrogant und frech!

Only 250ml water per day provided, requests for more were denied by afternoon staff on second night, who was quite dismissive and probably not a great fit for hospitality work. Some mould issues in shower need addressing.

Lots of stairs to get to the room. Difficult to carry heavy bags, particularly since the first stair case was spiral. It would be very difficult for people with limited mobility and strength
- Amos (8/5): - Freundlicher Empfang, hilfreiches Personal, modern eingerichtetes Zimmer, und praktisch ist, dass ein Café direkt im Erdgeschoss ist. Beim Check-in warten im Zimmer super leckere Cookies und es gibt morgens eine süße Überraschung vor der Tür. Lage in Krabi Town zentral und in der Nähe des Night Market und der Geschäfte und Restaurants. Angenehm weit weg von dem von uns als grauenhaft empfundenen Ao Nang. Die Klimaanlage ist leider sehr laut und beim Schlafen echt störend, sodass wir sie nachts ausschalten mussten, wodurch es dann aber rasch sehr warm wurde. Wenn dieser Punkt verbessert werden würde, würde ich 10/10 Punkte geben.

- Nadine (2/5): Schimmel im Zimmer und kein geldwerter Ausgleich. - Der Stil des Hotels war sehr schön. Das Personal sehr nett und bemüht. Wir hatten extremen Schimmelgeruch im Zimmer. Das wurde auch nach der ersten Nacht beim Personal angesprochen welches daraufhin das Zimmer gecheckt und gelüftet hat. Am zweiten Abend haben wir dann durch Zufall den massiven Schimmel gefunden unterm Waschbecken. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen das dies nicht bekannt war. Das war sicherlich Gesundheitsgefährdent für uns. Hätten wir den Schimmel früher gefunden hätten wir dort nicht genächtigt.alles was offen im zimmer lag hat so extrem nach schimmel gerochen, wir mussten erstmal alles durchwaschen und mein reisekissen habe ich direkt entsorgen müssen. Es war auch etwas schimmel in der dusche. Sollte also auch mal renoviert werden. Auf die Nachfrage eines geldtechnischen entgegenkommens wurde bis heute nicht reagiert. Sehr schade. Daher keine Empfehlung unsererseits.

- Mallo_Pahanen (10/5): A Unique and Cozy "Nest" Above the City – Highly Recommended! - The Family Tree Hotel is a hidden gem in Krabi Town. The location is excellent, right in the heart of everything, making it easy to explore the town. It can be a bit tricky to find at first since it’s located above a café, but once you arrive, it feels like climbing into your own cozy nest in a home tree. You simply won't find this kind of enchanting atmosphere in big hotel chains. The Room: The room was incredibly spacious and felt like home. I loved the clever layout where the washbasins were integrated into the living area. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great, and there was plenty of storage space. Also, the air conditioning was well-placed (not blowing directly on the bed) and the fridge was impressively powerful. The Experience: The common areas are very inviting for relaxing. Breakfast is served in the café downstairs with plenty of delicious options to choose from. A lovely personal touch was the little snacks left outside our door occasionally – so thoughtful! If you want a functional, stylish, and heartwarming stay in a perfect location, this is the place to pick.

- jane (3/5): Would not recommend - Responded to our communication prior to arrival and able to check in early. Good location, fairly peaceful. Good communal area with books available. Jars of biscuits in room on arrival and daily water. Did not have a problem with the access via spiral staircase in coffee shop. At first thought the information booklet in the room explaining facilities and procedures was good. There was only one chair and no table on the balcony even though plenty of space. No glasses for long drinks were provided. There was one power socket by the bed which we used for the mosquito machine and one which was difficult to access behind the TV. We used this for chargers. There was nothing for the kettle. The hairdryer did not sound safe so did not use. The booklet stated laundry service available from the hotel but on taking a bag to reception was told not possible. The booklet stated that to conserve water they would only change towels if left on the bathroom floor. We appreciated this but each day all towels (not on the floor) were changed. Our main concern was security, we arrived back early afternoon to find a key card outside our room. It opened the door. On entering our bed had been stripped but not remade. (Booklet stated bed linen changed every third day unless requested, this was day 2)On expressing concern I was just asked if it was OK to continue to clean room. Any one could have accessed the room, the cleaners were on a different floor. Every day we turned the air con off as we left, each time we returned it was back on. The WiFi was very poor in the room and rarely worked on the balcony.

- Andreas (8/5): - Fantastische und hilfsbereite Mitarbeitende. Auch das Gepäck wurde transportiert. Auf dem Zimmer gab es immer frische Kaffeebohnen zur Kaffeezubereitung und Kekse aus der eigenen Bäckerei. Das Badezimmer war nicht perfekt sauber und die Fenster sind nicht wirklich schallisoliert.
- Essi (9/5): - Staff was lovely and booked us a taxi ready for our early morning check-out. The hotel is located along a smaller street, in the upstairs of a cafe. Room was quiet and we couldn’t hear any traffic or noise from the street. Amenities in the room were well thought-of and and the room and common areas were very cozy. They had even prepared a small complimentary breakfast tray for us because of our early check-out. We could have stayed longer and really enjoyed our stay! Not really a negative, but worth to note for those with mobility issues that there is no elevator and the staircase from the cafe to the hotel is quite narrow.

- Andrew (9/5): An ideal stay before any boat trip from Krabi. - This is an excellent hotel which sits just above an amazing bakery/lunch place. The room is modern yet comfortable.

- Campbell (9/5): The hotel was perfect for our needs and in a great location. Nice big room which was very clean and comfortable. Excelle - Great location, very clean, nice big room, great staff, lovely coffee shop right downstairs The only minor gripe is that reception is on the first floor and you have to access it through the coffee shop via quite a tight spiral staircase. Having said this, staff took our bags up for us via a service stair so it wasn’t too bad.

- Carola (6/5): Tolles Stadthotel , aber lieber ohne Frühstück buchen - Das Stadthotel liegt perfekt , Nahe am Pier für Bootsausflüge. Nahe an der Stadtmitte , um Essen zu gehen und zu shoppen. Der wunderschöne Tempel liegt nur 5 Gehminuten entfernt . Das Zimmer ist wunderschön eingerichtet , hat ein bequemes Bett , alles mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Kostenloses Wasser täglich, Kekse in 3 verschiedenen Geschmäckern . Jeden Morgen standen vor der Tür ein Gebäckstück und 2 Milch . Der Punktabzug ist leider für die viel zu laute Klimaanlage , die auch noch genau auf das Bett bläst . Sie lies sich auch leider nicht regulieren . Die Zimmertüren sind extrem laut beim Schließen, man hört ausserdem jedes Gespräch vor den Zimmern . Aber was am meisten gestört hat war unser Frühstück welches inklusive war . Man bekam eine Karte , die 350 THB Wert hatte und durfte sich ein Hauptgericht, ein Getränk und einen Nachtisch aussuchen . Zum Frühstücken sehr wenig Auswahl, die Mangobowl gab es nicht an einem Tag, ebenso wenig den Thai Tee . Das Brot für die Eier Benedikt waren nicht geliefert, da wurde ein Croissant als Lösung angeboten . Wir hätten gerne einen Bananen Kuchen statt dem angebotenen, welcher auch noch preiswerter war, geht nicht . Das ist schade , also lieber ohne Frühstück buchen .

- Pascal (5/5): Es geht und für eine Nacht, aber mehr nicht! - Hotelzimmer sind zwar so auf den Bildern zu sehen. Aber das Hotel hat im Erdgeschoss ein separates Kaffee … dies ist Mega. Leider ist das Personal nicht sehr hilfsbereit und die Lage des Hotels fanden wir nicht so gut. Auch der Balkon war sehr verschmutzt und durch die Klimaanlage sehr warm und läd 0 zum Sitzen ein.

- Sara (8/5): Very nice cozy, cute stay, but not convenient for everyone - The hotel itself is nice and the cafe under it is amazing, expensive but very nice, they have super nice coffee in the room and little treats and it’s a very nice experience, the common areas are so cute, the rooms are cute I don’t know if I have missed this and it was highlighted somewhere but the hotel is actually on the second floor and the access is with a spiral wooden stairs, so definitely not super convenient for like bigger luggage and more suitcases kinda travelers, and while we where there for almost like 4 hours the water wasn’t working which was an issue out of their control

- Benjamin (8/5): Good value stopover - cafe downstairs is great - Decent option for staying the night after a late night flight into krabi. Hotel arranged a taxi which was waiting for us. Room comfortable for the price. Breakfast and coffee in cafe downstairs was great but a bit annoying they don’t take cards. There is no lift and staircase a little precarious if you were older. Hotel staff did carry one of our suitcases up but prob not best if limited mobility.

- Eman (3/5): I wouldn’t go there again, unclean, inconvenient with luggage and kids, view from the room was very bad. - Location was good, right in the middle of the city and next to the night markets. The coffee shop chain right in the hotel. The smell was bad to the point I couldn’t sleep at night, the view of the room was in the alley where there’s mold, dirt and fungi everywhere. The stairs up the room were tricky while carrying the luggage if you arrive after 6pm, there’s no one to help.

- Alain (6/5): Mauvais rapport qualité prix. - La petite histoire familiale de l’établissement. L’établissement est loin des plages et en plein centre de Krabi ville. Les chambres sont accessibles à l’étage par un escalier en collations très peu pratique et au rez-de-chaussée se trouve un coffee Shop par lequel il faut rentrer dans l’hôtel. Pas de climatisation dans les espaces communs et une climatisation très bruyante dans la chambre. Le wi-fi est très instable. Enfin, ce qui est le plus dommageable, c’est le manque de propreté de l’établissement : les fauteuils et coussins sont tachés, les vitres ne sont pas faites, le balcon avait des fientes d’oiseaux qui n’ont jamais été nettoyées.En fait le ménage est très sommaire. De plus lors de notre séjour, il y avait des travaux dans le coffee Shop, et nous avons eu droit à des bruits de marteau tard le soir et tôt le matin. Bref, nous avons été très déçus et le prix n’est pas du tout justifié.
