The tv was a smart TV so I could watch any movies via screencast on my phone We loved it. It's sooo cheap. Honestly best hotel hands down in Auckland!!!! The air con tops it off. • Alex (3/5): Unkept and insect prone but good location - It was in a good central location close to the shopping centre On our first evening we found 6 cockroaches that were coming from the corner of the room. There were also smaller ants coming from the seams in the fridge. One of the bed lamps was broken upon arrival but the staff upon enquiry did offer to fix. The shower also leaks and floods the whole bathroom every time it’s used. Also single pane windows so noises from outside can be heard easily

• Robertino (9/5): Fantastic price for location - Location walking distance to Newmarket and a bus stop practically across the property to the city every few minutes. The train station is also a 10-15min walk. There were several hairs from previous guests on the bathroom walls when we arrived. It is also not clear on the Booking.com page what to do if you arrive after reception closes at 8pm. Also, the mobile # to contact reception after hours is on a sign at the reception desk, not on the door that is security locked. Fortunately we had a guest kindly let us in as no one was responding to the door bell when we arrived at approx 8.30pm, which we updated via the Booking.com app and received an approved reply but no late check in instructions.

It is because we trust Booking.com to keep us safe and to ensure the accommodation and amenities are great. I have to think twice about trusting Booking.com recommendations. The place smelt damp and .musty. I would not go back for all the tea in China. You go at your own risk.

Thanks The down pipes outside the building at the back of building were rusted and could be a hazzard if there was a strong wind. there was no sign on the door in the corridor to say where the lift was. I saw the stairs through the window but did not see or know that the lift was through a door.

It was close to the hospital for the morning check in, had everything that I required and was comfortable. The staff were able to accommodate an early check in which meant that i was in a private space to have a phone consult with the anesthetist pre surgery. No complaints from me

• Ayla (1/5): Cockroach Hotel - There was a heater All of it. The beds were gross and unwashed (there were solid stains on my sheets) there were COCKROACHES EVERYWHERE. On the beds, the walls, the bathrooms- it was nasty. The staff was unwelcoming and it was all dingy. Even the toilet paper was cheap... so not worth the money because for an extra $20 I could've stayed somewhere closer to where I wanted to be and I could've been comfortable! Besides that, the hotel is awful, smells bad and is in no way Neurodivergent friendly. Also, the windows don't lock or close properly! Worst hotel I've stayed in so far...

• Kirsty (7/5): A good location and large room - This was in a great location, with a very large room and separate bedroom, which is what we needed. It was great having our own outdoor private space. The internet was good and the mattresses were comfy. Awesome shower pressure and the temperature was really nice. A dairy and sushi shop are right next door, with the mall just a few minutes' walk away. Thank you for a very nice stay. We needed some wash cloths and tea towels in the room. The shower floods the bathroom a little, so have to lay a towel down to soak up the water. Also, the main bed is on wheels on a wooden floor and kept moving around a bit. Needs locks on the wheels.

The shower floor wasn't raised so when we showered the entire bathroom floor would be wet meaning we'd have to put on our shoes to go to the toilet. 'Double bed' was 2 singles put together. The corridor and room smelt very odd.

• David (9/5): Small but adequate. - The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. The room was clean. Difficulty parking with lots of manouvering needed. Parking for my partner was a distant walk. The room was not the one I saw online. I had wrongly assumed the queen studio meant a queen bed, but it was only a double. When I went back and checked the booking, I saw the double bed was listed, my mistake. The outside patio area was bare. The patio one online showed lovely vegetation, however the one attached to the room had trees that were cut into a high standard so not as pleasant out there. The towels were too thin, there were no face cloths and only one sachet of shampoo/conditioner for each of us, so none for the morning shower. Shampoo wth a separate conditioner would be preferred as dual shampoo/conditioner products do not condition hair properly.

• Danièle (8/5): We do stay here frequently and despite the points I’ve mentioned we will continue to stay here and recommend it to frien - Its proximity to the airport while being close enough to town for other needs. The room we had did not have bed lights. Also it would be better if glasses were supplied as well as the plates and cups.
