- Max (10/5): Peaceful, uninterrupted, serene, 10/10 would recommend. - Rustic and minimalistic, surrounded by animals. Definitely like staying on a farm. Beautiful scenery, the mango orchard is glorious to walk through. Nothing.
- Andrew (10/5): Country Life at a great price! - It was exactly what we were looking for! Middle of nowhere, just the countryside and the sounds of the wildlife. The cow just wandering around was cool. And the pigs were super friendly! Nothing
- Kylie (10/5): Glad we picked this place, loved it so much - The owner is so lovely and did anything to make the stay memorable. It was so peaceful and we loved the animals, the property was only 25min from Gympie and the view was so beautiful sitting on the deck, I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting some time out, it’s worth the stay. The cottage was so neat and tidy, the bed was so comfortable, even the lounge was a good spot for a nap. All the things you need in the kitchen, was perfect. Everything was perfect
- Juliet (10/5): Peaceful and relaxing..perfect! - The peace and quiet was what we were looking for, strolling around the property and getting to pat the sheep, pigs, cows and goats was amazing. Sitting on the veranda watching the incredible sunset was perfect!
- Daniel (8/5): Very good -
- Samuel (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Nothing
- Mark (10/5): - fantastic place to stay, it was a last minute booking whilst travelling for work, the town of Gympie was fully booked out.
- Colin (6/5): Pleasant -
- Alison (9/5): Superb -
- Sean (8/5): Very good -
- Evan (7/5): Good - More soap required. No washers, shampoo or conditioner provided.
- Gary (10/5): - cottage was great and owner was very friendly and helpful, wish we had more time and not actually on a work trip.
- Donna (10/5): - We had a great overnight stay as we were working in Gympie, really wish it was personal trip and could have stayed longer. Great cottage and great owner. Thoroughly recommend.
- Bianca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karlita (10/5): Exceptional - Great hospitality, beautiful area. There's nothing not to like
- Lee (10/5): - It was an amazing stay and I would highly recommend staying here. Brian was so welcoming and another great part of the whole experience. I will definitely be coming back.
- Alison (8/5): Very good -
- Jacqueline (10/5): - Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The cabins were so comfortable and well appointed with crockery and cutlery. We loved lying on the grass and watching the stars at night. It’s a short drive from Gympie and Rainbow Beach. Sensational sunsets. Loved feeding the pigs and sheep. Perfect for a peaceful stay on a farm with a lovely view of the forest. If you want to chill can strongly recommend. Will definitely return.
- Heather (9/5): Superb -
- Hella (10/5): Exceptional - The setting is just beautiful. Remote and peaceful. Thoughtfully and nicely equipped. No Wifi
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Darren (5/5): This accommodation is good for short stays. Don’t book for more than a week. - The accommodation was comfortable and good inside. It is good as a base to get to surrounding places like Noosa, Tin Can Bay, Rainbow Beach and Harvey Bay. It is also quiet with good views. Remote location not much to do. This accommodation is good if you have kids to see farm animals and wildlife (wallabies mainly). Even then don’t book a long stay as it is very remote and although peaceful it gets dull after a while. To be honest, we booked this accommodation because we left booking too late and this was the last accommodation available that had the two separate rooms and was relatively close to Noosa and other places.
Incidentally there’s no Spa pool, so the description is a little misleading and needs to be updated.
- Gascoyne (6/5): Beautiful views but Substandard overall - The scenery was beautiful, the walks were nice. No value for what we paid. Washing machine not working, fridge not closing and not cold. Leaking tap in kitchen. Mould in shower walls. Inside cupboards not clean, dishes weren't washed properly. The owner was lovely, but as we arrived after 2 pm, he was still preparing our cottage. The guy on the end cottage was rude and his young kid would drive around our cottage with his toy at 7 am in the morning and would continue during the day, Got annoying. The place is very run down with only the owner doing all himself.
- Wade (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emma (4/5): - The cottage that we stayed in needs a very good clean. Dust and mould all around cottage. Cobwebs off roof and on all windows. Cockroaches in bathroom. Hard to sleep due to dust. Doonas dirty with stains.
- Kerrie (10/5): - great service, quiet place to stay, cabin very clean & spacious
- sally (8/5): - It was a very peaceful stay, loved the outlook and all the animals around. Brian was very helpful. My only thing that i found was the bed was a bit uncomfortable
- Chelsea (10/5): - What a great time away with the family. Feeding pigs, watching cows, patting chickens! Brian (host) was available but non invasive. The kids loved the pool :)
- Anthony (10/5): - Graham was great - checks you in and out with a smile and is otherwise not seen - loved that. Privacy is not really there on the deck but the sunsets are fabulous.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely peaceful setting with spacious cabins.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This place is so quiet and peaceful. Loved being greeted by Sheepy (the resident sheep) on arrival.
Very comfortable with all the amenities needed for a great stay and I particularly liked being able to feed my leftover salad vegetables to the resident pigs (under control in their pen)
- Marley (10/5): - Welcoming, peaceful, and beautiful location.
Amazing self contained cottages, with comfortable beds.
Great for a soul searching getaway on your own, but looking forward to taking the kids!
- Karen (8/5): - Peaceful and quiet , walked around the mango trees, around the lake, many cows and wildlife. BBQ facilities, pool. Said hello to the friendly pigs.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Wonderful owner, very welcoming. Cottage had everything you needed. Would stay again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I loved picking the fresh mango from the tree . Lovely peaceful place.
- Krissy (8/5): - Quite, peaceful and relax environment.
The owner is friendly and accommodating.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - This is in a great location, perfectly tucked away from the world but still close enough (about 30mins drive) to everything. Could have done with a bit of a clean up outside - think dust, moth eggs, spider webs - and a bit more communication on arrival ... like what we can do, what we should do around the cabin, animal names, etc.
- Jade (10/5): Highly recommend for peaceful escape - Very comfortable and well serviced
- Verified traveler (10/5): country cabins in restful surroundings - Booked in for 2 nights but extended our stay for 1 more night it was so peaceful. Owner very helpful and accommodating . Central enough to do day trips to Tin Can Bay, Rainbow Beach and Gympie.
