The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of New Digha Railway Station, Jagannath Temple, the sea beach, and the SBSTC bus depot, making travel and sightseeing easy. The property offers useful amenities such as a children’s play area, a well-maintained rooftop swimming pool, and parking facilities. Cleanliness and overall maintenance were commendable. The staff were courteous, helpful, and added greatly to the comfort of the stay. Rooms are equipped with essential facilities like a TV, refrigerator, and electric kettle. However, the room size, particularly the washroom, felt a bit compact. Overall, Hotel Le Roi offers a comfortable stay with excellent service and a prime location.

Food price is on higher side in comparison to taste and quality. Limited options available as per menu card. Room spaces are quite clumsy in certain rooms which is not good. Staff behaviour and response is good. So it is ok for 2 days stay maximum.

• aniketk285 (6/5): Everything ok but a lingering bad smell in the room - Everything was fine with respect to other hotels in Digha. It is difficult to find clean really 3 star hotels. However, they have some huge problem with the ventilation and the room was full of smell as if it came from the toilet. Once you go out and come back, first thing you need to do is to open the door of the verandah and the door of the room for full ventilation and then only the bad smell would go away. After some time it will come back again slowly as you close them but you may get used to it. Use of room freshener was a temporary solution.White bed sheets were ok. AC worked. The cable TV had the required channels for my parents. Mostly the tv is a useless one in most hotels.Toilet was not spotless but ok. Hot water was available. The staff were caring and good. The staff in the kitchen helped me a lot in providing some special help for my mother. The hotel has a good parking space. EV charging is there. Location is excellent. There are other restaurants around where also you can have your dinner or lunch. The food in the leroi hotel is also good. I did not opt for the buffet breakfast as the menu was limited because of cooking gas unavailability issue but the cost remained same as in the normal times. I had breakfast of Uttappam. It was good and fulfilling. Overall it was a good experience however the smell in the room from the start will make me think twice if I ever visit again. I am not sure if it was a one off case or not. We had 2 rooms , one was much better with respect to the smell.

I spoke to reception previous night confirming my arrival in the morning while checking in found my booking cancelled despite night duty staff!s mssg for the morning staff. No contact before cancellation and when asked should I go to other hotels, he expressed happily.

The Digha railway station is just beside the hotel along with New Digha bus stand a 2 min walk. The beach is around 10 minutes walk. The rooms are small in size however well maintained with clean washroom. The food quality is great with slightly high priced. Few items are unavailable due to cylinder issues recently faced. The breakfast spread is good and the rooftop swimming pool is awesome.

• Partha (8/5): - The room was comfortable, clean, and very well maintained though bit small. The staff were courteous and helpful, which made the stay pleasant. One thing to note is that the hotel does not offer a sea view. The beach is about a 10 to 15 -minute walk.However if you go by train and you get delayed due to late running of train,this is the best hotel to stay as it's just beside the railway station.It will take max a minute to reach the hotel from the railway station. The room is a bit small and needs bit adjustment to accommodate 3 members including the child.However good for two members.

• 921anupk (8/5): Deluxe Room with Family of 3. - Overall, everything is good here. Service is quite fast. Check-In was also quite hassle free. I booked the Hotel as a walk-in guest and got the rates lesser than online reservations. In house restaurant is way better than other restaurants in New Digha. Also, there is a kids play area in the garden and my 10 year old child made many friends there. It is much better stay than other costly options in New Digha. I'm giving 1 star less only because the bathroom is quite small, and a bit of here and there issues (but they can be ignored). I'll recommend this hotel to anyone coming here.

Also the Jagannath Dham gate no. 2 is just 2 to 3 mins walk from the hotel. The rooms are very good with a big balcony. A swimming pool is also present at the roof where one can spend quality time with BBQ food option and also a sea view. The Jagannath dham can also be seen clearly from the stairs of the roof. The food tasted very good and was of good quality. The housekeeping service, restaurant service and all other amenities are also very good. Definitely one can try this hotel for a peaceful stay with Jagannath Dham visit without any hassle.

The room we booked was double delux for each family.The rooms are spacious and more importantly all rooms has balcony.The hotel has a play ground with some amenities. the staffs were friendly and delivers all items as required.The food seems costly but there are many restaurants nearby. Only odd i found is dur to very close to the station, if you are unlucky train honking may disturb your sleep.

The room and bathroom were clean. But the exhaust fan inside the bathroom is noisy as we were hearing it's noise in our room which shouldn't be the case. Rooms are very clean and amenities are provided as advertised. The noise level is very low. The service is prompt and cordial.
• pro000 (2/5): Terrible Stay and Experience - This was our third stay in Le Roi and we expected a good experience but unfortunately at the very first day we discovered the washroom lock was not working and water tap was broken which we had to ask them to fix two times. Besides, the kettle handle was broken as well. We travelled from Kolkata to relax not to fix the things in the hotel room. Hotel staff should have checked the room properly before allocating it to a guest. We ordered steak at first night. Though we instruct the restaurant person thoroughly but the food was not up to the mark. The mashed potato was bland with no herbs & butter, sauteed veggies & chicken were not boiled and seasoned properly. We expected an excellent experience with good food from Le Roi but it turned out the worst experience.

Due to train late I reached hotel night 12 o clock, I felt like all staff are waiting for me and within few seconds my check in formalities completed and I reached to my room. During my stay also I got all service with hassle free and prompt. Thanks to all management and housekeeping staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

It's just next to the railway station. Since it's beside the temple the atmosphere is peaceful. Room was good however the room size was bit small. Not noisy. Amenities present.
