- David (10/5): - I was a tourist from the US. This hotel was spacious and clean. The staff was very helpful. I needed to add an extra night to my stay and they were very helpful and accommodating. One of the staff workers, Nabil, was nice and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here. The rooms were big comfortable and the price was great. They offered transportation services as well if need be.

Bonne situation, un conseil, partir à pied pour découvrir Amman et revenir en taxi 2 dinars. Très bonne prise en charge pour retour à l'aéroport. (pour info possibilité location auto) Tout était parfait, on a terminé notre circuit en beauté

The site indicates that laundry is possible, but only large family rooms have washing machines. The area is quiet though quite lively not far. Decent breakfast. Overall maybe a bit pricy?

- Rachael (8/5): - We only stayed here 1 night, and it ended up only being for a few hours rest before we got up for our 430am flight but the property was great. The guy at the front desk was so accommodating and helpful, he set us up with a taxi to the airport at 2am, a wake up call to be sure we didn’t miss it and even help us print off a document we need to travel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It’s a little further out from the main area of Amman but it seemed like it wouldn’t be too far of a walk to get anywhere. It was a little noisy because of the location being so close to a mosque but it would be hard to find a quiet place to sleep in Amman haha. It was just what we needed and a pleasant stay

There are many places to walk to right next to the hotel. The front desk is always very helpful and there is always someone there. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also good.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - Shams was a good place to layover for the night coming back from Wadi Rum to fly back to the U.S. the next day. Cleanliness could have been a bit better. There was a faint scent of cigarette smoke in the 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in. I am very sensitive to smoke, so this was quite noticeable. We did not enjoy the continental breakfast in the morning, but it was enough for us to make it to the flight. Overall, we still would recommend Sham al Weibdeh for a night or two while you are laying over in Amman. The apartments are spacious, and clean enough.

The only thing i didn't like was my booking had breakfast included however they tried to charge me for it saying it wasn't included... However they waived it. Customer service is awesome at this place hands down.
- Victoria (10/5): Excellent apartment - Huge apartment in a good location, you could walk to Rainbow street within around 20 mins, the historical sites within around 40 mins. Lots of restaurants within 5-10 mins walk. The pool is much smaller than it seems in the photographs, nevertheless, it was very refreshing in the summer heat. The area around the pool is well maintained with lots of shade and places to sit.

Example we only had 1 mug so asked for another, asked for coffee in room, asked for TV to be mended and non of these were followed through. On the upside they were happy to organise taxi for days out and to coach station, also breakfast was good and if you asked chef he would fry egg or omelette for breakfast

- mathieu (8/5): nice appartment hotel near downtown - i booked this hotel because the toledo was not available at the time i came back from petra ; the appartments are really big and you have plenty of space, they are very clean with everything inside if you want to cook. Great wifi connection. location is near jett station if you want to go to Petra. the only bad point is the lack of breakfast, but there are shops nearby and the toledo hotel also, located 5 mn away.

- Katharine R (10/5): Great neighborhood, spacious rooms! - We only stayed one night and since we arrived around dinnertime and had an early flight the next morning we didn't have much time to explore the neighborhood, but the hotel was within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We felt completely safe walking around the neighborhood with our two young children. Our room was very spacious, with a small kitchenette and dining area, a sitting area with TV, two bathrooms and two bedrooms. Our bedrooms had a lovely view of the closest mosque. Parking was a bit tough with the SUV we rented, but we were happy to have a parking lot to park in so we didn't have to find a spot on the street! It was a short but very nice stay, and we'd definitely stay here again for a future (longer) trip to Amman! My only complaint is that the pillows were very thick. As a stomach sleeper I prefer flatter pillows, but that's just my personal preference. I used a couch pillow instead and it worked fine. A very minor "complaint" for an otherwise great stay!

Our room was a complete apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room and kitchenette. zone with nice restaurants around. Little far to walk to downtown but in a quiet zone. Very close to the King Abdallah (Blue) Mosque and to Abdali zone.
