Marta (10/5): Hostel in a great location - Hostel located in the heart of the Stone Town. Very nice staff, kind and helpful. The breakfast was great as for the hostel! Eggs, sausages, fresh fruits, toast bread, jam, tee or coffee. Each bed has got the electrical power, own light and curtains so allows for privacy and comfort. Really good value for money.

Regarding room selection on the website, some rooms clearly state 'shared bathroom', while others were categorised as standard double room or basic double room. It should be noted that all rooms have 'shared bathroom' and this should be more clearly advertised to avoid other expectations.
Verified traveler (4/5): - Not very organized. Reserved three nights, but through a mistake in their system I was only able to stay 2. Weren't really apologetic about it. The room has a/c, but the rest of the hostel is hot and humid. Ok bathrooms and showers.

Experienced noise in the morning from people/staff sitting on the balcony outside the room windows (which could be accessed from the kitchen), which disturbed any efforts of trying to sleep after 8am.

Down fall is people can smoke in the balcany, which goes right into your room. You have to keep windows open because it gets too hot otherwise.
