- ELISA (10/5): - Hotel molto carino a due passi dalla bikini beach dell’isola. Servizio di transfer molto utile per chi arriva da Male e anche pick-up all’porto di Maafushi. Struttura pulita e ordinata con staff gentilissimo, abbiamo potuto lasciare i bagagli in struttura dopo il check out e usufruito della possibilità di farci una doccia prima della nostra partenza la sera.

- wa nakhlue (8/5): - It was very nice stay for us for 4 nights. Room was clean and well managed everything. Staff were very nice especially gimashi, the lady at the service desk was very friendly and co-operative all times. Also kumari, the lady from excursion centre also very helpful and guided us about all the watet activities. All the boys from the room service and the restaurent also amazing. We did snorkelling from sunrise where they booked from ocean vista. It was too good to imagine. The Indian guy name- Md Ali also very helpful throughout our snorkelling journey. Must recommended. Apart from couple of bad things it was very good in terms of price and service. Location is good as well, very near to the bikini beach and night market. Food is okay but not that great. Though didn’t try from there actual menu. Buffet items are pretty much similar on everyday. We took breakfast and dinner included in our booking, but we had to do dinner twice from outside. Overall okay. Also wifi is too bad throughout the days, not sure about other side of the room. When I am in the room wifi connection is very low, if I go in the balcony the restaurant wifi connected that time as their restaurant was just near to our room. So not sure about other side or room of the hotel. It might be our room wasn’t close enough to the wifi router. Also lot of construction surroundings but it really didn’t bother us at all.

- Mike (4/5): Overall, while the location and early check-in were great highlights, the lack of service and attention to guest comfort - Excellent location – Very close to the beach and main activity/tour spots, making everything easy to access. • Convenient arrival experience – Buggy pickup from the jetty and quick transfer to the hotel. • Early check-in flexibility – Being allowed to check in at 10 AM instead of waiting until 2 PM was a big plus. • Spacious room – The room had good space and didn’t feel cramped. • Beach view – Nice view from the room added to the overall experience. Review for Sunrise Beach Hotel, Maafushi I stayed at Sunrise Beach Hotel Maafushi and overall had a mixed experience. The location is definitely a strong point—very close to the beach and main activity areas. We also appreciated being allowed to check in early at 10 AM, and the buggy pickup from the jetty was smooth and convenient. However, there are some areas that need improvement. The building has no elevator, which may be challenging for some guests, and the lobby/common areas are not air-conditioned, making them quite uncomfortable in the humidity. While our room was spacious with a nice view, it felt somewhat outdated and could benefit from better maintenance. Service was the main concern during our stay. We had an early morning snorkeling tour and requested a takeaway breakfast, as it was included in our booking. In Maafushi, this is generally a common and practical service since most excursions start early, and many other hotels provide this for guest convenience. Unfortunately, our request was declined without explanation or alternatives, which was disappointing. Additionally, housekeeping was not provided during our 4-day stay (no cleaning or towel changes), and interactions with staff felt limited and not very welcoming. The checkout experience could also be improved. We were ready at the scheduled time, but no reception staff were available, and we had to rely on the driver to assist us while we were concerned about making our transfer. Overall, while the location and early check-in were positives, improving service and guest experience would make a significant difference

- Marilyn (5/5): Más o menos - El hotel es bueno , me atendieron muy bien al principio.Pero el día del check out me tocaron la puerta dos veces a las 11:50 pm cuando me habían dicho que el check out era 12 pm , dos trabajadores el primero fue amable y me preguntó si me quedaba mucho le dije q estaba terminando de hacer las maletas y la segunda que fue la recepcionista me dijo que eran las 12 le mostré el teléfono y le dije faltan 10 mnts , la razón era por que habían llegado otros guest y tenían que limpiarla pero si dicen una hora deben respetarla . El restaurante muy bien, el desayuno deberían variarlo un poco sin sabor … Me sentí robada con las excusion de los tiburones la verdad pagué mucho dinero 120 D por estar 10 mnts mandando con los tiburones , estuvimos todo el tiempo en el barco, la comida fue básica un jugo de guaba y un arroz sin preguntarte nada … después no vi las mantas me dijieron qu estaba bien que podía esperar ya que estaba con mi hijo de 4 años , al final fui y no habían más mantas … creo que es un robo eso fue lo que senti , y cuando fui a la oficina , no se hicieron cargo … dicen que no pueden hacer nada la verdad me sentí mal por qué era mi primera ves en Maldivas y me sentí que solo buscan el dinero más nada . Vengo desde Colombia con un menor para disfrutar del paraíso peor veo que aquí solo les interesa el dinero y no realmente dar un experiencia única en un país tan bonito …

- Camille Noelle (8/5): Comfortable stay with great location and service, just be ready for the stairs—especially with kids. - Sunrise Beach Hotel is located in Maafushi Island. I asked for their help in booking our ferry transfers to and from the airport, which really helped us save time and effort. The hotel is conveniently near Bikini Beach and a playground, which was a big plus for me. Every night, my toddler got to play with local kids and other guests, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The rooms are spacious, but I wasn’t a fan of the stairs—they felt a bit unsafe, especially with a child. There’s no elevator, so we had to take the stairs up to the 5th floor every day, which felt like a cardio workout. If you’re traveling with kids, just make sure to keep a close eye on them. Breakfast is served buffet-style starting at 7 AM, but I really appreciated that they prepared it earlier when I mentioned we had an early tour. The selection is good—I especially loved their pastries. Food is constantly replenished, and they rotate some dishes, which keeps it interesting. The stairs can be a bit tricky if you’re traveling with kids.

Επιπλέον, επειδή το κτίριο δεν έχει άλλα κτίρια από τις δύο πλευρές, υπάρχει καλή κυκλοφορία αέρα και δεν κάνει ζέστη ούτε το μεσημέρι ούτε το βράδυ. Υπάρχουν δύο κατασκευές από τις δύο πλευρές, οι οποίες χαλάνε λίγο την ατμόσφαιρα. Επίσης, λειτουργούν και τη νύχτα και προκαλούν θόρυβο.

Гледката отвсякъде е на строеж, цяла вечер се строи, много е шумно, не може да се спи. Мръсотията е отвратителна, а на терасата всичко е ръждясало. Имахме мравки навсякъде, даже в леглото. В леглото имаше и косми, които не бяха наши. Единия ден имахме и локва вода пред вратата на стаята. Стените са много тънки, всичко и всички се чуваме, сякаш сме заедно.

- Ján (8/5): Hotel Sunrise Beach - Ubytovanie sa nachádzalo blízko pláže. Klimatizovaná izba bola na 1. poschodí s balkónom. V izbe boli okrem pohodlných postelí k dispozícii aj kanvica, televízia, skriňa na odkladanie vecí. v Kúpeľni, kde bol sprchovací kút boli aj uteráky a osušky a sprchovacie a toaletné potreby. Pri privítaní sme dostali uvítací drink. Raňajky a večere boli chutné. Upratovanie izby bolo možné využiť každý deň. Hotel taktiež organizoval rôzne fakultatívne výlety za zvýhodnené ceny. K dispozícii bolo aj wifi pripojenie. Z hotela bolo všetko blízko, aj pláž, aj centrum ostrova, obchodíky, workoutové ihrisko na cvičenie, detské ihrisko. Výhľad z balkóna na rozostavaný hotel.

Huge assortment of trips to snorkling, diving places, watersports. Food at the restaurant is cheap and tasty. No early check-in, beginning of construction in front of the hotel, loud sounds from outside during the night.

The hotel is located in a quiet local area, yet it’s less than a 5-minute walk to the busy tourist zone, so it’s the perfect balance between relaxation and convenience. The staff are absolutely amazing :) super friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The manager was especially wonderful, taking great care of everything from responding to our messages before arrival to personally welcoming us when we arrived. The service truly made us feel at home. One of the things we really appreciated was that the hotel has its own excursions office, which made organizing activities incredibly easy. They helped arrange everything for us, including ferry transfers between the airport and Maafushi Island. The food at the hotel restaurant is also among the best on the island. We tried a few other places, but we ended up having most of our meals at the hotel because the taste, quality, and prices were better than anywhere else we tried. Every morning we enjoyed the most beautiful sunrise views right from our balcony :) such a peaceful and memorable way to start the day. We loved and enjoyed everything about our stay here and will definitely come back to stay again when we return to Maafushi Island! Nothing, everything there is perfect!
- ilaria (2/5): Mai più! - Posizione buona, ma cibo indecente. Colazione e cena ripetitive, cibo freddo, vassoi vuoti, servizio lento e poca gentilezza. Cercano di venderti escursioni prima ancora di darti la chiave della camera. Sia in reception che al ristorante, acquari con pesci tropicali in numero a dir poco eccessivo, con acqua verde scuro, sporchissima e questi poveri pesci che cercano di sopravvivere in uno spazio sporco e angusto. L’acqua degli acquari talmente sporca che a fatica si vedono i pesci. Inaccettabile in un paese dove ciao si reca per vedere i pesci nel loro habitat. Bagno della reception sporco e puzzolente. Odore acre di urina da voltastomaco. Una sola bikini beach sull’isola, con ombrelloni ammassati, non sufficienti per tutti: e’ più confortevole stare in spiaggia a Riccione a Ferragosto. La camera è decente, ma fanno le pulizie solo su richiesta. Nessun comfort. Camera carina ma basic e non troppo pulita. L’insieme e’ indecente. La colazione a buffet la cosa peggiore in assoluto. Disponibilità ad aiutare per il transfer pari a zero. Posto da dimenticare, come tutta l’isola di Maafusho.

Posizione strategica, vicino alla bikini beach e ai vari locali. Inoltre, i ragazzi che organizzano le escursioni sono fantastici, ci hanno fatto vivere delle avventure stupende, accogliendoci ogni giorno con allegria e professionalità. Abbiamo vissuto un sogno! Consiglio questa struttura! Poca frutta a colazione e scelta limitata, sicuramente da migliorare. La cena ripetitiva e con scarsa scelta

- Note (10/5): Perfect beachfront location, friendly staff, clean rooms, and great food - We had a great stay at this hotel! The location is perfect, right in front of the beach and just a short walk to Bikini Beach, which was super convenient. All the staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was clean, and the bathroom had good water pressure, which we really appreciated. There is some construction around the hotel, but it didn’t bother us. The buffet breakfast had a good variety of choices. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant once, and it was amazing. We booked an excursion through the hotel’s tour agency, and it was an excellent trip with amazing guides. Highly recommend this hotel! Nothing

- EGLĖ SIMNIŠKA (10/5): - Erdvūs kambariai, šalia maudynėms skirto paplūdimio. Už tokią kainą, labai geras viešbutis. Taip, kambarių tvarkymas tik paprašius. Taip, baldai kiek pasidevėję, ir dušo maišytuvas galėtų nevarvėti. Muziką iš kelionių agentūros šalimais pradžioje erzino, bet priimi tai kaip dalį vietinio kalorito. Vyksta aplink triukšmingos statybos, bet kurgi Maafushi jos nevyksta, visa sala statybų aikštelė. Pusryčiai skurdūs, bet visada rasi kiaušinį ir kokį sumuštinį. Labiausiai tinka judriems, juk viešbutis tai nakvynės vieta. Apibendrinant : Už tokią kainą (apie 60 eur) tai superinis viešbutis.

- Robert (9/5): Pobyt dla rodziny - Cena super, jedzenie ok, Widok nie za specjalny obecnie, ale blisko wszędzie, obiekt jest już starszej daty, ale czysty i bardzo, bardzo tani jak na standardy i porównanie z konkurencją. Bardzo duże pokoje, dla dzieci plac zabaw blisko, ale na tyle daleko, że dzieci nie słychać. Bardzo tani speedboat z tego ośrodka, public tańszy, ale speedboat uczciwa cena. Atrakcje wycieczek z ośrodka rewelacja Widok z balkonu na dzień mojej rezerwacji nie był porywający styczeń 2006 rok
