L’hôte est également sympathique. Je recommande ! Point négatif concernant le bruit la nuit : un bruit constant, probablement lié à la chaudière ou au chauffage, s’est fait entendre toute la nuit et nous a empêchés de dormir, ce qui est dommage.

This is a room in a house that shares the bathroom and kitchen with other guests, but there was no way to lock the room. There was no room service or cleaning of any kind. I was given one towel and one washcloth for the week. I do not recommend staying here.
• Lakota (6/5): overall good experience. would probably stay again for just an overnight. no frills. some plants could really help lift - at first i didn’t like that the place didn’t match the pictures but the bed was amazingly comfortable. pillows as well and there were extras. good quality cotton sheets, not cheap synthetic. mark was also very kind and helpful. he helped with checkin and the door when i couldn’t open it. it was mostly very clean. our room and bathroom were very clean. upstairs (3rd floor ) common area was cute but a little empty. a few plants or decorations could go a long way. i was worried about the temperature with only a lighter quilt but it was perfect actually. the blanket was very nice. (please consider a top sheet.) bedroom doors lock. on site and street parking. the common areas are a bit drab and not very clean, but we didn’t use them. the windows on glass door for example was very dirty. most doors needed a good wiping. our bathroom, despite being shared, didn’t lock. the laundry detergent has a strong smell which was too much for me. please consider using unscented or natural scents. bottom door is a little tricky and we never got check in instructions. just arrived to find a number in door. this was ok since we arrived early before we went into the city but if not it would’ve been stressful. sending a message with clear checking instructions is a must. including the front door code and how to open and lock it.

Right after entering, the sharp smell attacked, which was like the burst of cumulative smell without any ventilation. It is a pity because the place was nice. Also, the area was rather dark requiring additional caution for activity times.

• Poyraz (7/5): Good - Clean, room and bed. The owner's apartment is right next to the unit they gave us. Contactless entry. I didn't even see the owner. On the phone, he was very friendly. However, he entered the apartment early in the morning (6am) and we felt like we are under surveillance. I think it was unnecessary just for the future bookings. But, overall there were no issues.
• Mark (8/5): 1 NIght in Cambridge - The house was indeed tranquil and very clean. It included parking and was relatively convenient for our planned outing in Cambridge and our trip to the airport the next morning. The room was quite small, but the shared bathroom was convenient and clean. Before arriving, we received an email from the property informing us that check-in time would be 2 pm, but when we arrived a few minutes before 4 pm, we were informed that we could not enter until 4 (ultimately we got in a few minutes after 4).

One recommendation I would make is TV in each room because nowadays it difficult for different guests to watch the same programs. • Verified traveler (8/5): Limited Privacy - We were greeted by the owner/manager who was friendly, helpful and informative. The biggest downside to the Kitty house was 1) residential parking on the street with no sense of security other than the neighborhood appeared to be quiet and 2) the bathroom, kitchen and living room are in common with two other rooms. Fortunately the other tenants were quiet and friendly, but, if you value your privacy, this is not for you.

The hostess is quite pleasant, the rooms sufficient, mostly shared bathrooms (I think) and on a quiet street. It definitely does not look out across a river, as the picture suggests. But the price is right.,

The owners were friendly and helped manage guest parking in the driveway (a convenience in Cambridge), and on street parking was also available. The house was immaculate and located in a quiet neighborhood. It’s close enough to the city that you won’t absolutely require a car, and public transportation is available. This was an excellent alternative to more expensive options in the area. The bed was quite comfortable and the shared areas were spacious.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - This was a wonderful find! I often have to stay in Boston for family stuff and hotels can be $500+ a night. This was a tremendous value. Everything was exceptionally clean. The linens on the bed were soft and the bed was incredible to sleep on. They even gave you 2 bottles of water in your room which wasa nice touch. The dhared bathroom is literally right next to your room and only shared with one other room. It was never an issue with me and the bathroom was spotless. There is a large living and dinning area and a communal kitchen, with freeaccess to coffee and tea any time. A short walk nearby are several restuarants and coffe places. It was great and I will likely stay again.
