- Mark (7/5): Good location but expected better from photos - The rooftop bar has great views but unfortunately we were too busy to relax up there. Location is very good and close to the lake. Unfortunately there wasn’t a walk in spa to get a massage, you have to phone reception for them to arrange for a masseuse to come over. Not super clean and shower flooded due to uncleaned drains so we had to clean them out.
- indigo_ratesit (4/5): Great location but feels claustrophobic & needs a serious clean! - If mouldy shower curtains and dirty lifts are your thing, then maybe this is for you. The location is great, but you hear the noisy streets of Hanoi city until early in the morning. The whole hotel feels quite claustrophobic but we did have a big bed and seems like a bigger room comparing to what I have read from other reviews. Overall the hotel is in serious need of a renovation… or at the very least, a deep clean. HOWEVER, there is one absolute gem: the sky bar. It’s beautiful. You get amazing views over the whole city, and the cocktails are strong and actually really good. Breakfast was okay, nothing memorable. Stay for the location maybe, visit for the sky bar definitely but otherwise I won’t be coming back to this hotel.

Nelle camere , il bagno risultava pulito solo superficialmente. Molto spiacevole anche trovare le pareti dell'ascensore sporche. Infine, il personale, seppur gentile e disponibile, la sera al nostro rientro lo abbiamo trovato sdraiato sui divanetti all ingresso a piedi nudi: comportamento poco professionale e non piacevole da vedere.

- joel (10/5): - This is a great location. Ive stayed here a few times and enjoyed it every time. I was in the tiny room. This hasn't been an issue in the past when I was out and about all the time But unfortunately had to spend more time in the room and it definitely felt small.
- 72sachind (8/5): Central location, congested room and bathrooms - Central location in old quarter. If you are looking for shopping in old quarter then only choose this location. Rooms are very conjusted. No room for movement. Same is case with bathroom. We got it in around 45USD. Value wise it's good property but if you are looking for lavish stay you can avoid this. Not much options for Vegan in breakfast.

- Pablo Sebastián (10/5): Perfect hotel to visit Hanoi - The hotel is in a perfect location, only a 5 mins walk to the lake, super central. The room was modern and clean, which made our experience super comfortable. Although Hanoi is a very busy city and we had a room with a window to the street, we didn't hear a thing at night, not even from other rooms, so a good night of sleep is guaranteed. The staff is super very friendly and they help you with whatever you need, that was definitely the jewel of the crown for us. Maybe more Vietnamese options for breakfast, but I know the hotel needs to adapt to a wide range of guests, so it wasn't a big issue. Food was good and more than enough for breakfast.

The staff, receptionists were amazing, they effortfully took care all of our requests and exceeded our expectations. We booked Rita cruise in Halong Bay and they referred us this hotel in the Old Quarter and that was a great choice.

Le personnel est courtois et facilite beaucoup le découverte de la ville. La chambre était très étroite. Les murs de vitre de la douche ne sont pas étanches. Il y avait donc beaucoup d'eau par terre dans la salle de bain après une douche. L'hébergement offre des services de SPA. Les massothérapeutes que nous avons eu n'étaient clairement pas des professionnels et les tables n'étaient pas confortables. L'expérience n'était pas du tout relaxante. Je ne recommande pas ce service.

If you are looking for a convenient place to stay while touring Hanoi, this is perfect for you. Really friendly staff and room service make this place awesome. The rooms were a bit small and had no windows.
- Manuel (8/5): Comfortable stay with a fantastic location and small room for improvement - The hotel is located in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, which is very convenient, with most attractions, restaurants, and shops within easy walking distance. Having an elevator was a big plus, especially with heavy bags. The room was on the smaller side but featured a comfortable, large bed. As we had an early departure, the staff kindly prepared breakfast bags to take with us, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch. The soundproofing of the room could be improved, as we could hear our neighbours quite clearly. In addition, even with the windows closed, outside noise could still be heard, including people shouting in the street. Other than that, there was nothing negative to mention.

Always ready to answer any questions you have, she even helped me locate something I had lost outside the hotel! The location was fantastic, very close proximity to all the main attractions in Hanoi. Walking distance to the lake, markets, bars, shops and restaurants! Some updating/maintenance of the rooms would make a big improvement. For instance the toilet seat was broken in our room, and I think the shower curtain should be replaced with a shower screen. Other than this everything else was fine. Although the room was clean, it could be cleaner. Better dusting and wiping down surfaces properly.

Varied and good breakfast buffet. The skybar on the 14th floor is a fantastic place for a drink But most of all the staff and incredibly helpful and friendly. The staff did not provide any reminder or communication regarding the check-in time, and instead of being helpful, their behavior was rude and unprofessional. Hospitality is the heart of any hotel, but sadly, this was completely missing here. Definitely not what I expected, and I would not recommend this place to others

- Jana (9/5): - I have been to this hotel for the second time, last year in March and this year in April. The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are spacious and clean. The mattresses are clean, comfortable and the air conditioning works well, the water pressure is also fine, which is sometimes a problem in these many-storey hotels, but we did not experience any problems here. I also like that the hotel offers late check-in, but even if you do not want to use it, they allow free luggage storage in their lobby with a couch where we can wait until the flight, I also really appreciate the opportunity to shower before departure, when they provided us with clean towels. I think the hotel could do with some work on the dining room where breakfast is served. The selection is sufficient and the food is tasty, but the dining room feels outdated, it would deserve a proper deep clean, and the air conditioning drips water from the ceiling directly onto the food on the table, which feels unhygienic.

Their breakfast was delicious, offering a wide range of both Vietnamese and Western dishes. The room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, and the location was convenient, close to almost everything.

Michael and Hoa are excellent customer service, they are very welcoming. Breakfast buffet is very fresh and great options. They have great options tours. THE best.
- Sharyn (10/5): Our ‘go to’ when we’re in Hanoi! - This is our 3rd stay here and yet again it was fantastic. Staff greet you on arrival, helping you with your bags (even from across the road!) and from there they continue to assist you during your stay - always friendly and always with a smile! Location is perfect - just a short walk to great food, Hoan Kiem Lake and the Water Puppet show to name a few. Room is spacious, clean and welcoming. Can get a little noisy when the windows are open but that’s all part of the experience! Clearly nothing - we’ll no doubt be back for a 4th visit!

When I requested to check out early they accommodated my request When we got there they said they had upgraded us but the room they upgraded us to had a fault so they upgraded us again but then wanted to move us but down to a lower room the day after. The lift doors kept shutting on us before we all got into the lifts. The restaurant hallway is so narrow that someone opened the door and hit me when they walked up the stairs

- Paul (8/5): Good choice in Hanoi Old Quarter - Location was excellent. Staff were very friendly and rooftop bar was a nice meeting point. Rooms were very spacious and beds big and comfy. Rooms were spotlessly clean. The single lift was a problem particularly at checkout time, and as we were on the 5th floor, using the steep staircase was not an option. Not a major issue unless you have a driver picking you up around checkout time (as we did). Would be helpful if other guests didn't hold the lift for prolonged periods on lower floors.

- Zeen86 (8/5): Good - Staff are very helpful, got a free upgrade as well. Location is very convenient, 10mints walk to the lake side. They have happy hour in their sky bar. Location is very crowded area. So if you dont like the crowd this is not a place for you. Lots of street food, its safe though.
- Philip (8/5): Great location and staff! - The location and staff were absolutely perfect. Close enough to the old quarter without being in the thick of it. The sound insulation was pretty terrible - without ear plugs I could hear everything outside and inside the building. Thankfully I had a good pair with me so it didn’t impact my stay at all.

The staff was exceptional whenever we needed help being information or requiring anything they where there to help. Menu changed daily so many options to choose from. - Grahame (9/5): Apart from my 2 recommendations a brilliant stay again - Thank you - 5***** Very Very Good - Great Staff Constructive Information - The TV in my room and my friend's room was a little too low when watching in bed gives you a cricked neck so could be a little higher - And one other little thing for safty going forward - Tiled floor in the shower-bathroom very slippery - specaily when older guests - it would be much safer to put down a couple of rubber mats to stand on - Non Slip much safer.

- MichP91 (6/5): Very satisfied - terrific value and location. - This is a fantastic value for money - the location can’t be any better for tourists and the staff are lovely and attentive. It is what you would expect at the price point, I would say it is a 3-4 star hotel with the inclusions and overall facilities. I had laundry service completed and it was prompt and inexpensive. The breakfast range is minimal but covers a range of tastes and is sufficient. The upper deck is a fantastic area at night to watch the city go by.

In the first day they gave me map about Hanoi and also one picture about best recommendation stores or cafes etc in Hanoi. This is so nice gesture I think for foreigners. Khuong(Michael) here supported me about everything from arranging tours to my some specific question about city. Special thanks for him for being that much proffesional. I also recommend their tours as well it was so high quality and here in Vietnam it is my 7th times with different cities also including Hanoi, so trust my comparison about it :) Thanks for always making me feel like im at my home and safe . Next time i will be there again. Hen gap lai:)

- Andreaatran (10/5): Great stay!!! - Back here for the second time and had a wonderful experience. The buffet breakfast was a highlight - lots of options. The rooftop bar offers amazing skyline views of Hanoi, perfect for relaxing at night. Staff was great, helpful, friendly and help us to book all the trip ( Halong bay & Ninh Binh). We would definitely stay here again.

- jgr83 (4/5): A really bad choice for our stay in Hanoi - Probably the worst experience I've had with a "Traveler's Choice" Hotel. There were only two real positives about this place. The first one was the location. It is walking distance to hundreds of restaurants/spas/shops... also the lake. So 5 Stars for location. The other good thing is the family rooms lay-out worked well for a family of 4 traveling with 2 kids. Unfortunately for Bendecir, this is where the positives end... The bathroom smells disgusting and brown water came out of the tap for a while on first use. Also the fake plastic floor is peeling away in a few places and needs urgent replacement. The whole building is quite narrow (not atypical in Hanoi) which makes the restaurant for breakfast really weird in terms of lay-out. But the biggest issue with breakfast was one of cleanliness. I thought it was the glasses that were dirty when I kept filling them with water, only to realize that the water from the water tank had black "Stuff" floating around, meaning the filters must be super dirty. Breakfast in general was also not very good. There is absolutely no charm to this place, needs urgent clean-up and renovations.
