Guest Reviews
- Kerri anne (10/5): Relaxing, peaceful and amazing - Villa was beautiful, clean, tidy, so quiet and so close to beach, cafes and eateries . Nothing it was fab!
- Lillian (10/5): Wonderful night stay in a sweet little villa for two -
- Garcia (9/5): - The location was great, staff were super friendly. Bedrooms were comfortable and the pool was ALWAYS in the perfect temperature. The bathroom were not very clean, and the water from the shower had a really bad smell at first but got better after a few showers. The living room also has a strong smell.
- maree (7/5): Close to everything but dark streets at night to get back home - The bed was very comfortable and the inside of the villa was clean. Good WiFi The pool area garden was okay. The pool was clean but the outside was not looked after.
- Leisa (10/5): -
- Susan (10/5): - Location you can walk to the beach with endless restaurants to choose from. Nothing
- Felicity (7/5): - Fantastic location
- robinson (2/5): -
- Jap Yuliani (3/5): Horrible and a horror. - Le villa est à côté de la plage mais même ,je peux dire qu il y a encore d autres villas autour avec meilleurs services et qualités et bon prix. Everything. Villa not well maintained, the manager Maudodi so lazy to respond to messages, door at livingroom is difficult to open as they dont have handles, AC is hot, fridge was broken, pool was green and dirty. I had to spent hours wasted waiting for them to repair this and that, and cleaning the pool. Impossible to sleep after 7am as the curtain was not covering the whole windows .
- Roland (10/5): -
- Peter (8/5): - We thought the location was a little far out
But there were some very nice eateries around location
- Erika (9/5): - They put chemicals in pool before we left and could use for a few hours .
- Clarissa (10/5): Excellent, very private space with attentive staff - It was perfect. The living room and kitchen space was perfectly appointed with all you could need. The bedroom was spacious and the bed and bedding comfortable. The bathroom was large and well designed. The private pool was a fantastic addition That we couldn’t stay longer. We will be back.
- Stephanie (1/5): -
- Anne Kristine (8/5): - Flott villa og veldig sentral beliggenhet.
- Eric (3/5): Wouldn’t book again - Tucked away. Not close to much. Photos different from real experience
- henry (7/5): We loved it, as I mention its in a great location. - No breakfast, location in a great spot. A little more work on the décor, (eg) sliding doors not sliding properly. maybe a fresh coat of paint.
- Mark (1/5): Do not stay here for the price there are better options for 1/4 of the price photos don’t resemble the place - This property does not even closely resemble the photos. The property was in bad condition AC leaking and not working, filthy, run down and full of mosquitoes. There was holes in the ceiling and absolutely disgusting. I checked in at midnight and checked out the next day at 9am. I booked 5 nights and only used the one night so I had to pay for another place. They charged me $1200aud for 5 nights and I ended up staying at the new 5 star Sumitra resort. DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY. My words may be hard but I live and work in Jakarta and travel around indo for work. But this is very bad for the price. PS the owner never contacted me to apologise or offer a refund. - Kerri (9/5): Recommended comfortable accommodation close to port and beach front - Location and facilities were great. The villa was very comfortable and had more than we needed to just stay 1 night 1 of the pools wasn’t very clean:(
- Long Tran (5/5): - The location is ok. Rooms are large. The water from the shower smells really bad, like it’s coming from the sewage system. The swimming pool water is so dirty.
- Treena (9/5): Hidden gem!!! - Very convenient to restaurants and beach. Wonderful having a private pool to cool down in the middle of the day. We liked everything
- Melissa (7/5): Great place, great staff ☺️ - Great location, close to the beach walk. Comfortable beds and considerably quiet. Bathrooms were a little dirty but nothing too bad. Just the attention to detail missing. Could definitely do with extra bin bags when you have a kitchen to cook in. Would be great to have an inside lock for the front door so you don’t have to use a key.
- Marat (10/5): -
- Chris (8/5): Great little villa for two, very friendly staff - Very clean, nice pool, good location
- Milja (10/5): Relaxing stay in a calm area near the harbor - Very clean, beautiful and modern accommodation - felt truly like at home. Kitchen was well equipped and tv room very cozy with netflix available. Free laundry service was a nice surprise. Friendly helpful staff and nice cats in the yard. Excellent location to the harbor and sea view restaurants. Tv room could have own air conditioning.
- Lindsay (8/5): -
- Holmes (8/5): - The location was perfect for what we wanted to do. The villa was roomy and neatly presented. Not at all the villas fault bit some water was on the kitchen floor and with the very shiny tiles, I fell. I was very lucky that I only have bruisers. The marble tiles are lovely but treacherous when wet.
- Vicki (6/5): Nice Villa & staff, just needed a very good clean, it smelt a bit musty, maybe open up before guests - N/A It needed to be cleaned properly, particularly the bathroom
- Wendy (7/5): Really enjoyed our stay here. Close to beach. Quiet and private. - Location was very good.
- Jorge (10/5): Confort - Esta bien comunicado con el transporte publico y/o taxis locales
- Rachael (8/5): -
- Tammy (1/5): Upsetting - The villa was nothing like the pictures advertised. It was tiny, dirty walls and mosquitoes everywhere so we had to limit our time outside. The person who met us with our key did not speak English and did not understand us. We did not feel comfortable at all. We were supposed to stay 5 nights and after 1 night we decided to leave. Even the air conditioner was warm all night!
We complained and asked for a refund only to be refused. We have been to Bali 8 times and stayed in many villas. This was extremely disappointing and we are out of pocket $1000 !!! I will make sure that others don’t make the same mistake. It is nothing like the photos!

Erg fijn.
- Sabina (7/5): -
- Maudini (10/5): -
- Tue (7/5): Good - It is a quiet place away from traffic noise. You get a quiet night's rest here. Aircon in both bedrooms works perfectly. The one in the TV room, were either very cold or hot and smells a bit. When we arrived the water in the pool was starting to turn a little green. The staff cleaned the filter and a few days passed and then the water was clear again. We only had it cleaned once in 6 days and then the day before we left. There is a key box by the door, which you obviously have to put the key in, because they only have one set of keys. We would recommend that you agree when you want it cleaned and hang the sign on the outside door to the garden, and pot the key in the box They say they clean with 2 day interval. Cleaning seems to be good. The outdoor kitchen is charming, but animals get into all your things and the trash can. We had a gecko between our plates every day, along with its poop. We had to wash everything before we used it, and order it in bags. The staff could be a little more proactive in offering cleaning, as well as checking the pool water, toilet paper and drinking water
- Ethin (10/5): Exceptional - The location and accommodation There wasn't anything to dislike
- Liane (4/5): Dissapointing for the price - nothing The room layout
The room was very tired
The pool was dirty
The air conditioner didnt work properly and leaked on the floor and onto the bed
The bed creaked
The lights didnt all work
The closet wouldnt close
- Josh (8/5): Two Lizards Beach Villas was the perfect stopover near Sanur Harbour, with helpful hosts. - We only stayed one night at Two Lizards Beach Villas before heading to Gili Air, but it was the perfect spot for a quick stop — super close to Sanur Harbour and ideal for a smooth transition. The hosts went above and beyond to help us track down our delayed luggage, and their driver, Rendra, was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with transport and local advice. A comfortable and convenient stay in the heart of busy Sanur.
- Irene (9/5): Great place to relax - It was very well equipped, clean and the staff were very helpful. Nothing
- G (7/5): Comfortable - Location, peaceful and quiet, villa was comfortable if a little outdated The pool requires maintenance as does the general pool area, although the water appeared clean the pool itself needs a clean. The villa is a little tired and needs redecorating
- Lineen-curtis (10/5): An absolute gem, gorgeous villa - An absolute gem of a villa within easy walking distance of the harbour. Ideal for an early ferry to Nusa Penida. Spotlessly clean, huge comfortable beds, gorgeous pool. Would definitely recommend!
- Declan (8/5): Very good - Private pool and friendly staff
- Stephen (8/5): Very good - Pool was nice temperature The smell in the bathroom
- Widdicombe (7/5): Good - hi - perfect size for a couple ... and the staff were lovely my partner asked me to let you know that the noise emanating from the air-conditioner bothered his sleep (he is a light sleeper) didn't bother me ...
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Moksha (7/5): Good place and met our needs. - The staff were friendly and the place was good for our needs. It was hot so the private pool was well used. The sunchairs were also nice. The bed was comfy and the location private and a short walk to the beach, supermarket, spa, Sanur market, good restaurants and 20-30min walk to the shopping centre Icon. It was a nice size room and our villa had all the basics we required. Including a giant water dispenser, mozzie coils, kitchen basics. There are mozzies so it's good to get extra mozzie coils and wear insect repellent. There was also signs of wear and tear. This included chipped tiles in the bathroom, no bathroom fan, old shower head, marks on the walls in the bedroom and a strange smell in the kitchen. Despite this, the place met our basic needs and we still enjoyed our stay.
- Therese (10/5): Great little hideaway in Sanur, perfect convenient location to restaurants and port. Good value for money. - Great facilities, lovely pool, quiet location just a short stroll to many restaurants and the port. Nothing
- Dennis (8/5): All ok - Privacy, bed, lounge area and pool were all very good. Great use of a small space Short, sharp- edged step in shower area was annoying as it is a trip hazard. Folding doors to lounge room were difficult to close and pool access was also difficult as there is no handrail for entry/ exiting. Small things but annoying
- Coggan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bryce (9/5): 7 Days of R&R - Plenty of room, onsite team were always helpful and happy to help. Clean and comfortable. Access road was often flooded. Gates were shut to the villa each night. No access code so didn’t really stop access to anyone else so it was just an inconvenience to have to open it when coming late at night.
- Erika (9/5): Superb -
- Katherine (3/5): I would not recommend this villa - The shower was hot and had good water pressure Customer service on arrival was poor. He pointed towards the gate to the villa, I had to ask which one as there were two, he wasn’t going to show us anything. The wifi was hit and miss. Mosquitoes are really bad, you cannot leave a door open at all and each of the bedrooms and living areas are in different sections of the villa. There’s gaps in the doors so the mosquitoes get in. We had to go and buy spray for the rooms. The location is out of the way, no decent places to eat within walking distance. We were meant to stay 3 nights but only stayed 1. We lost 2 nights as we knew it was non refundable but for the sake of enjoying our holiday We moved to a nice hotel on the main strip at Sanur beach , it was $20 cheaper per night, served breakfast and had friendly staff unlike Two Lizards.
- Shevanny (9/5): Superb -
- Ryan (7/5): Good -
- Lachie (6/5): Pleasant - Comfy beds, staff were very friendly and quick to help make our stay accomodating, location was good Cleanliness, sheets had stains in them when we arrived and there was mold on shower head which isn’t good enough. Pool was also unswimable due to lack of maintenance, the water was green and stagnant little to no chlorine. Also feral cats pee and poo in backyard fyi. However staff were very helpful and got us a new shower head immediately which we greatly appreciated. The villa had great potential just needed more maintenance and care but overall the stay was fair. For the money charged to stay there I would say probably not worth it if cleanliness is not improved however I believe these could be easy fixes.
- Bruce (8/5): Very good - Central to sanur. Internet dropping out.
- Vicki (8/5): A cosy stay - The location was excellent and having our own pool was great to have a dip morning or night. The photos on Booking.com are a little deceiving. The villa had obvious wear and tear and a lot of mildew around. The pool actually went green and we had to ask for it to be cleaned. The internet was intermittent.
- Paige (7/5): large rooms with own kitchen and pool! - large space. rooms were comfortable and close to beach. needs some maintenance, loose tiles and general wear and tear could be fixed
- Mark (7/5): Good -
- Jessica (6/5): Nice few nights in quiet little town near Harbour, we prob wouldn’t stay here again but was a lovely little quiet area a - Lovely little villa on the outskirts of town, very local area and not many tourists but we didn’t mind and really enjoyed Sanur we can’t wait to come back. Property reasonable looked after and nice. We do think the pool water made out kids sick but hard to be sure. Doors to rooms didn’t quite close so we did worry about mozzies - aircon loud in one room a bit older and lay out was a bit odd as rooms didn’t connect and kitchen was outdoors but didn’t matter too much as we only had a few days there. But if feed back some hooks in rooms would be very handy for towels and stuff to hang.
- Melissa (9/5): Very relaxing. - The area was quiet, the bed was comfortable and the pool was fantastic. This is a great place to stay even if it is a little out of the way. There are a few restaurants and we found the Canvas cafe a great place. The staff are very helpful. We had a great holiday. This was a little way from the main area in Sanur.
- David (6/5): Pleasant - Location was close to beach inexpensive taxis ride to inner sanur Villa requires refurbish very tired pool was growing algae required attention multiple times during stay not ideal
- Mikkel (8/5): Very good - Great location on the outskirts of Sanur, yet great walking distance to great restaurants! For breakfast, go visit Canvas Café, the hospitality and breakfast dishes were perfect!
If you are looking for a bit more fine dining, go visit Byrd. The frontyard in our villa was a bit dull and we didnt use it during our stay as it was not that cozy…
The other villa has a much better layout with kitchen/dining room.
The backyard with pool is however very great.
The villa is not new, but clean and tight.
Could use an update with new sunbed (including mattress) and parasol in backyard.
- Craig (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anna (10/5): Excellent. Mai and his team were so amazing! Loved it will be back. - Was exactly what we were expecting and more. Comfortable with own space and everything you needed. Maybe more comfortable seating in kitchen as we spent a lot of time chatting there and wooden seats.
- Robyn (8/5): Very nice. - Quiet and private. Close to restaurants and a supermarket. Could not stand up in the pool as too deep.
- Susan (6/5): Out of the way and not good value for money - The staff were great and bed was comfortable The location was out of the way of most activities, shopping, restaurants etc. took 30 minutes to walk to most things.
Layout of accommodation was strange with having to go through bedroom to get to pool.
Aircon didn’t work as well as expected.
Pool was dirty and green in some places and wasn’t inviting to swim in.
Dirty daybed.
Not good value for money.
- Helen (8/5): Our first trip, we loved it, loved the Sanur area lots to see there and easy to access from villa. - The location was good. It's close to the very north end of the Sanur beach walk/cycle path, and there are a good number of facilities close by. A 10 minute walk gets to resorts on the beach if that's what you like! We went there for lunch once.
Loved having the pool! and the bedroom is large, roomy and bright, very comfy. It looks over the pool, and the shower opens onto the pool area which I really like too. Um, the crockery needed a good clean, and the pool was a bit green but they did already know about that and came in and fixed it. The kitchen/lounge area smelt a bit musty, maybe that's a tropical thing. And I would have loved a ceiling fan in the bedroom, although the air con worked fine.
- Paul (4/5): Disappointing to say the least. - Pool Very old, and not in good condition.
The photos did not show the age of the property. The property was well over priced for the condition of it.
- Peter (7/5): Good -
- Eddie (6/5): Pleasant - Location was nice and quiet, at the northern end of Sanuar. A little bit of trek into the centre of Sanuar, but it was a really nice walk along the coast. Unfortunately we were unable to arrange breakfast in the Villa as the staff had just left the business.
The pool needs some attention. A lot of algae on the surfaces of the pool. We were not comfortable swimming in the pool.
- Ludovic (6/5): Pleasant - Mosquitoes repellant (incense coil to burn) provided as there's quite a lot around. Been bitten a lot in the first day.
Cats are playing around and visiting villa 😅 The swimming pool was not clean. Green water with lot of particles into that broth.
Needed to move the bed under the aircon to have the right temperature to sleep as air con not powerful enough (maybe the un-tight door to the bathroom leaking air con to the bathroom is the reason).
- Nicole (7/5): Good -
- Louise (1/5): Very disappointed!!!!would not recommend!!!! - Nothing Filthy green slimy pool you could not swim in
Drain blocked in vanity
Aircon didn’t work in some rooms
Aircon leaked in another
Cat shit
Very tired needs a good tidy up
Poor
Would definitely not recommend
- Robyn (8/5): Very enjoyable, felt safe and good location. - Close to the beach and town and a small supermarket which was handy. Comfortable bed and shower was nice and hot. Very quiet at night so good for sleeping. Safe and secure as well. Couldn’t stand up in the private pool. I’m short so this is important to me.
- Ann-marie (9/5): Superb - Lovely pool, helpful staff and roomy bedrooms.
Peaceful location and supermarket close There wasn't a microwave
- A (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lara (10/5): Quiet and relaxing close to every thing - Nice and quiet location
- Erin (9/5): Superb -
- Daryl (10/5): Very comfortable and will return with family. - It’s a beautiful Villa, we got to enjoy the pool before bed time. Nothing not to like about the property.
- Susanne (7/5): Good - Johnny & cleaning staff lovely very helpful. Johnny always willing to help.
Hired bikes, good fun on the bike/walk path heading down Sanur beach front.
Mini Mart close down lane way. Villa getting very tired, court yard full of mozzies but had some rain.
Around the pool area walls had mould.
Location not great.
- Craige (3/5): Poor - The main positive was having the privacy of a clean pool where we spent most of our time to cool down in between riding our bicycles to explore the beaches.
The room was typically Bali clean, the fridge was cold, plenty of drinking water from the water fountain.
The location was good, close to the beach, limited restaurants (famous fish soup restaurant at end of street always busy with locals, not a fan of eating fish in Bali but this was surprisingly good, only one dish to choose from, 1 set meal cost 55k includes 1 rice, 1 fried fish, 1 fish head soup. Warung Mak Bengand ) and fast boat to the Islands.
Bicycle rental from the beach front is a must so you can enjoy the great bike path the whole stretch of Sanur beach, with many restaurants and warungs to choose from. The villa overall was highly priced for what you got.
If you are sensitive to noise while you sleep you will need to turn the airconditioner off at night, it is extremely loud, we left it on in the day to cool the room enough to get us through to early morning.
The kitchen/lounge area is not airconditioned and only has limited facilities, not a space you would be comfortable to sit in to dine and definitely not to lounge to watch the tv!
The bathroom is basic and starting to deteriorate as are the outdoor cushions on the sun lounge.
- Nika (8/5): Very good -
- Debbie (8/5): We had a great time - It was really nice The pool was a bit dirty
- Milos (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (8/5): Very good - Comfortable friendly staff It was abit far out for us
- Emma (8/5): Very good - Great hosts, very easy to contact through WhatsApp and very accommodating.
Clean wonderful room and pool.
- Jasn (7/5): Good -
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Perfect !!!
- Yoselin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Philip (8/5): Very good -
- Michelle (10/5): Would def stay again, and recommend to family and friends. - We loved the privacy of the villa. We loved that the kitchen area was separate and it was great having a door from the outside into the bathroom so you’re not trekking through the bedroom soaking wet from the pool. Everyone said there wasn’t a lot close by, but if you’re not lazy and enjoy walking you can find quite a bit of great restaurants/bars/shops within 20-30 min walk. We enjoyed it. 6 min walk to Sanur beach. Don’t be surprised to see a few little geckos in your living quarters. They didn’t bother us and were actually quite cute!
- Dean (1/5): Bad - So far from anywhere and dogs everywhere
- Aubert (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Jeffrey (9/5): Superb -
- Glenn (7/5): Comfortable & staff were great. - The bed was comfortable& kitchen well equipped. The pool was green when we arrived but the staff quickly fixed that by the next day. The facilities were a little tired but served their purpose.
- Peters (10/5): Exceptional - The staff, the cleanliness of the rooms No hand soap
