• Angela (9/5): Economy space in convenient position - Bluehostel was good value for money. Good position for walking to most of the main visitor places in Rome and the bus tours stop very close by for those that are a bit further away on a hot day. No complaints

L'endroit est très bien situé et l'accueil par notre hôte était parfait (celui-ci nous a donné une carte personnelle de Rome avec des conseils personnalisés pour des restos et endroits à voir absolument).
• Leigh (7/5): Roma - The location is great central and walking distance to mostly everything about a 30 min walk to say like trevi fountain 16 min walk to coliseum 6 min walk to the train station. Staff was so helpful and nice Overall the space was nice bedding was clean towels were clean. It was a unique 200 years old with charm that was neat. The room wasn't as clean as it could have been such as mold in the grout in the shower. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable And it was a bit noisy in the AM the walls were paper thin. I did see roaches down on the entry-level where im assuming there a permanent tenants, we were on the 3rd level and i didn't see any there.

• Andrea (9/5): So glad we chose Blue Hostel! - Beautiful, quiet rooms that have everything you need. We loved the fact that this was central to Rome Termini but was quiet with no road noise. Lovely place to stay. Comfortable and convenient. I am so glad we chose Blue Hostel. Coffee and tea in the room. Hosts very helpful. Not clearly sign posted from the street but once you get close by just ask a local shop owner and they will show you. Some stairs to climb but we enjoy that… walking off the pasta and pizza :-)

• ELLEN (9/5): Location. Location. Location. A 5 min walk to the train. - Comfy beds and great water pressure in the shower but the best part is the location and how quiet it is. Oh and the hosts! Walking up 4 flights of stairs.
• ELLEN (10/5): Overall fantastic. (And the stairs helped us work off the nearby gelato and pizza.) - We stayed here at the beginning and end of our vacation. First in a small room and second in the larger trapazoid apartment. It's literally a 6-minute walk from the train station. The hosts were spectacular — they went above and beyond, coming to carry our luggage downstairs at 6:30am and helping us make last-minute dinner reservations at a popular trattoria. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Beds were comfy. Space was spotlessly clean and quiet at night. Hosts were gracious, helpful, and ridiculously handsome! ;-) We liked everything, though after walking 10 miles a day we were wishing for an elevator. You'll see that's impossible in these old buildings. So we went for character and would definitely come back!

• Katarina (9/5): Trevligt hotell nära Santa Maria Maggiore - Vackert, bekvämt rum med mycket hjälpsam och trevlig personal. Vi fick tips på vackra promenader, sevärdheter, restauranger och hjälp att förbeställa taxi. Mycket prisvärt om man inte har problem att gå i trappor. Inget!

That wonderful map, with an encyclopedia of information. Location. Proximity to Termini rail station, bus, metro, and trams. Multiple cafes, supermarket. Spacious and airy room, no road noise. No lift, but got great workout with three sets of stairs.

• Zanna (10/5): Lovely stay - Lovely spacious and bright room for 3 people in an excellent location, close to Termini train station, local supermarkets and within a short walk of Rome's sights like Papal Basilica of Saint Mary Major and Colosseum. It was a great bonus to have a coffee machine. Just be prepared that the apartment is on the 3rd floor (UK 3rd), without a lift.

• Keith (10/5): Enjoyable 4 night stay. Would recommend. - Member of our party had stayed at the Blue Hostel last year and recommended it. Close to the main railway station so ideal if you arrive by train (like we did ) or arrive from the Airport on the Leonardo Express. Greeted by the friendly owners who showed us to our rooms and explained everything. Given map with all the attractions etc. Rooms were very clean. Comfortable beds. Rooms serviced every day. Our rooms were round the back so away from the bustle of Rome. Air con, fridge and expresso machine are provided . Little details impressed such as the keys being colour coded with an attached card explaining which key for internal / external doors. We walked to most of the attractions but did use the (close by) Metro to go to the Vatican and returned on a bus which stops near to the Blue Hostel. Rooms were on the 4th floor which was not a problem for us but may be for others as there is no lift. Nothing.

• Shaked (10/5): - השירות היה כל כך טוב! אנחנו פגשנו את ארקולו אחד מאנשי הצוות שהיה פשוט הכי נחמד ושירותי. הוא הגיע במיוחד לעזור לנו עם המזוודות גם לאחר שעות העבודה שלו, סיפק לנו מקום איחסון למזוודות אחרי צ'ק אאוט, נתן לנו המון המלצות! מבחינתו זה היה השילוב המושלם, אמנם דירה אבל מנקים אותה כל יום, יכולנו גם לאכול בחוץ אבל גם לעשות קצת קניות בסופר ולהתפנק בבית, באמת הכל מהכל. המקום היה קרוב במרחק הליכה לרוב המקומות ואם לא אז במרחק הליכה לתחב"צ שעזר לנו להתנייד נורא בקלות. קיבלנו מהם מפה מסודרת עם המלצות והם לא הפסיקו לשאול אותה אם הכל כרצוננו בכל רגע נתון.

They let us store our bags after checkout so we could further explore. The room was super quiet and the beds were comfortable. I’d recommend and return here the next time that I stay in Rome. We were not bothered by the 4 flights of stairs but some might be.

Los,propietarios nos atendieron estupendamente y nos dieron consejos para visitar y comer que nos vinieron genial. Si volvemos a Roma intentaremos repetir Todo genial. No tiene ascensor pero ya lo sabíamos por lo que no fue problema.

El anfitrión muy amable y pendiente de que todo estuviera bien, nos dejó un mapa con recomendaciones de restaurantes. They truly are the stars of your stay. Not what we didn’t like but and honorable mention is that the area (Termini) itself is “up and coming” . But its a great stay if you’re okay with walking to and from town. I mean who isn’t with how beautiful every corner of Rome is?

The man who helped us check-in was super communicative, helpful, & carried our millions of bags up the stairs with a smile on his face. He recommended a dinner spot we ended up loving also. I can’t thank him enough for his kindness. We didn’t realize there are a lot of stairs. Which wasn’t a problem for us, especially since the gentleman carried up & down our luggage. However, it may be an issue for people with handicaps.

Quiet, v secure. No elevator but city code won’t allow it; but had great help w/ luggage.. and the unique, awesome built building, former convent hundreds of years ago, made up for any inconvenience.

Невероятный обаятельный Алессандро встретил нас,помог поднять вещи,все рассказал,предложил на выбор несколько номеров.Был максимально гостеприимен и вежлив. В номере есть все необходимое,кофе,чай,вода.Дополнительно плед на случай холодных ночей. Сильная слышимость,но мы изначально были к этому готовы.Нет лифта,для нас это не было проблемой,но для других это может быть важно. Немного можно придраться к уборке,в душевой было пару волос предыдущих жильцов и не везде была протерта пыль.И хотелось бы ,чтобы одеяло было заправлено в пододеяльник ,а не лежало поверх простыни.

• UsuallyKyle (10/5): I recommend this property to anyone looking for easy access and modern comfort. We would book again - The location of this property is ideal with easy access to both transportation and the must-see sights. Termini is a few blocks away and is an easy 5-8 min walk straight up the street. Bus stop outside the front door if you are looking grab public transit. The property is managed by two delightful gentlemen who will make sure your stay is as enjoyable as it can be. While the property does not have a "front desk", the managers are in the building and make themselves available for any questions or assistance if needed. We returned late one night to find that someone had broken their key off in the main door lock at the street level. We were nervous that due to the late hour, we might be stuck but a quick text to the property staff solved the issue as we were buzzed in and profuse apologies were granted to us. The room was quaint and small but was more than adequate. It is a quiet, comfortable respite after a long day of getting our steps in. The bathroom is spacious with newer, modern fixtures and a large comfortable shower. This cannot be said for several other accommodations we had during our weeks long journey. Bottles of water, a small refrigerator and coffee maker rounded out the amenities of this space which has ample natural light due to the two large doors that opened onto small balcony. Just know that there are a few flights of stairs between the street and the property. If stairs are a deal breaker, this may not be for you. I swear they got shorter each time we made the climb. If you tend to travel with a lot of luggage, you may want to think about that as well.

Modern bathroom and plenty of space for the three of us (mum and dad and a teenager). I would use Uber for transport to and from the hotel from the airport- affordable and safe travelling experience. Nothing of note- the gentleman in the hotel kindly offered to bring our luggage upstairs, there was no lift but that was not an issue for us

The room was very quiet at night. No noise at all! The stairs are a challenge, but there's nothing that can be done about that. And the lovely room and staff made the climb well worth it.
