De portier verdiend meer als de baas Die verkoopt alles qua oud huisraad uit het hotel en spreekt prijzen af met de taxi,s trap er niet in mensen gewoon aanhouden in de straat rijden er genoeg Halve dag. In boeken betaald en geen factuur ,zo in de broekzak bij de portier . Hij had ons in de gaten, Zijn zat betere hotels voor minder En zoals gezegd voor het zwembad hoef je het echt niet te doen 😂😂

Breakfast was simple with lots of different selection. The hand wash basin is in a separate room from the toilet. The shower is in an oddly shaped bath tub which will “flood” halfway through showering.

Sarah (7/5): Was okay. - Was a fantastic location! Right in the thick of it. Everything was okay, clean and nice air con. We only booked this last minute as we could not extend at the hotel across the road. Pool was dangerous not safe for kids, breakfast was average. Staff were hit and miss.

Amund Kønig (2/5): Nei takk! - Ligger sentralt. Fikk et knøttlite rom, men ut mot bakgården, som var en fordel, da hotellets vinduer ikke på noen måte er tette eller lydisolerte. Rommet var forholdsvis rent. Andre natt på hotellet, litt over midnatt, var det et voldsomt bråk rett utenfor døren, skriking og noen som kjørte et eller annet motorisert som tydeligvis gikk på bensin, da rommet straks ble fylt med eksos gjennom dørsprekken. Hadde liten lyst til å konfrontere bråkmakeren, da stemmene utenfor døren virket svært truende. Ringte resepsjonen, men lite hjelp eller oppklaring å få. Ringte to ganger men ingen forklaring. Etter en stund våget jeg meg ned i resepsjonen, men fortsatt ingen forklaring på hva som hadde hendt, det luktet fortsatt sterkt eksos over hele hotellet. Vi ble tilbudt et nytt rom, en "suite", som viste seg å være et litt større rom, med enda dårligere vinduer, som pekte rett ut i en svært trafikkert gate. Propper i ørene gjorde at det var mulig å få en times søvn i løpet av natten. Våknet opp til støy fra gaten, eksoslukt fra ac og en dårlig frokost med elendig kaffe. Eneste lyspunkt var den særdeles hyggelige damen som hadde kommet på jobb i resepsjonen. Hun gjør at vi vurderer oppholdet til litt over null.

Lost connection intermittently. - The safe box is not secured to the based of the cupboard. Hence, in the event if someone is able to enter the room, he/she can simply grab the safe box and ran away.
Juan (4/5): - BE AWARE BEFORE BOOKING, compare hotel with other hotels in the area. Room 502 Beside the location that is good, there ard more than 15 hotels in same area. Hotel rate far over priced for the rooms, so many other more maintained hotels for half the price you pay at this hotel. They have sister properties that is more modern but they prices this property at the same par, but this property is run-down. Room are outdated, and nothing like the photos they promote on booking sites, we had to move rooms… first room so small, could hardly walk around the bed, no closet space, no shelf to pack clothing items, safe literally bold to the floor. Moved to second room that was a class higher, room was bit bigger, but same as first room, room are old!! Pictures advertised on booking sites were taken years ago. Water leaking out of bathtub leaving the floor flooded every time you take a shower, 2 out of 4 electrical outlets worked, no hot water the first night Breakfast is below par, all items like bacon, sausages are standing open on plates, “Ice cold” reported this everyday but no change. Spoke with hotel manager, he was apologetic but same thing next day nothing charged. Very unfortunate that they just could not maintain the property, will surely not return and will not make any recommendations.

Jane (7/5): Bit odd. Room ok/nice but rest average - Room was nice, but window was tiny. Breakfast was good. I was in a weird side 'wing' of the hotel which has an entry down some steps. The corridors were very run down and no aircon, with cleaning equipment stored in sight. The pool was tiny with 2 seats and no shade. I had a decision as to whether to book another couple of nights and I chose not to.

Tien (2/5): - During my recent stay at A&Em Hotel, I encountered a series of unfortunate issues that greatly impacted my experience. Upon checking into my room, I was immediately struck by a strong, unpleasant odor that resembled stale cigarette smoke. It was quite off-putting, especially for someone who is sensitive to such smells. The staff, however, were friendly and accommodating. I approached them about the issue, and they quickly assisted me in moving to a different room, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the new room was no better. It also had a lingering bad odor, and I couldn't shake the feeling that it had not been properly cleaned. The overall cleanliness of the room left much to be desired, with dust and dirt in various corners, which added to my disappointment. Despite the staff's best efforts to help, the persistent smell and uncleanliness overshadowed any positives about the hotel. It was a frustrating experience that made my stay far from enjoyable. I had hoped for a more pleasant environment, but unfortunately, that was not the case at A&Em Hotel.

Quang (6/5): Good for single travellers on a budget. Not good for families with little kids - the location of the hotel was excellent. Prime central location and within walking distance of everything youll need. there are local convenience stores all around and Ben Thanh market is just down the road. The staff were very professional, friendly and accommodating. When we asked to be moved to a quieter room, the staff tried to accommodate but there were no quieter rooms available. The room we had which was the corner suite on level 5 was very noisy. As its central the traffic goes on till very late and you can hear everything that happens. Unfortunately for us there was building work going on across the road until 2am and we could hear every brick being laid. We also had a problem with ants as soon as we put some food down on the table. The lift wasnt great either as we had to go up the stairs to get to the reception and then down a flight of stairs around the corner to get to the lift to go to our floor. The bathroom we had was nice and clean and looked like it was just renovated, however when we took a bath there was a huge leak which made the floor very wet.

The room are not so clean and the room lighting is dim in some area The toilet mirror and lighting is poor that unable to see yourself in the mirror clearly. Happen the room I check in fills with ANTS clawing everywhere of the room include the bed. You need to press for the room services then they will clean up not like others hotel that 100% whether you are in the room they will press the door bells to ask for the cleaning of the room.

200mahindar (8/5): Good place to stay - It is a good place to live. We booked the rooms twice. Clean, nice, good staff. Very conveniently located. Very close to Benh Thanh market too. All the required facilities are around the hotel. I book again if go.

Thiam Huat (6/5): - overall okay. Found some cockroaches and ants in the toilet. Air conditioner temperature varies in the night. Weird smell from the air con ventilation, seems like it’s smoke smell from other rooms.
