• Mary (1/5): Bad - They do not have breakfast The place caught on fire, and we waited 2 hours to get our stuff out of our room, and went over to Days Inn. Thats why I rated things the way I did. Nothing was wrong with the room, or the service there. We normal stay there when we have to go that direction.

I love, love, love that you can back your car right up to the door to unload/load your things rather than lugging or having to use a cart. The gentleman at the desk (the owner) was really nice. The room was impeccable clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot and with good pressure. My only input to the owner would be...have at least 4 pillows, as most King rooms are for 2 people. If I had traveled with my husband, we would have bothered you for anothe. But last words...Very Nice

• Kelly (10/5): The RETRO REWARD! - This place is amazing! Don’t let the “classic retro motel” exterior fool you! This renovated vintage cutie was sooo nice inside! Perfectly minimalistic but every detail covered! Just what our weary but persnickety selves needed after a long days drive. Wonderful beds, crisp sheets and super comfy pillows. White, white towels, fresh and clean scent. Working a/c fan. Plenty of Hot water with great pressure. Felt safe inside the little courtyard. Owners are pleasant and welcoming. We personally appreciated all their effort to turn this into a great stop over for the sleepy traveler. Well done, owners! Travelers, you won’t be disappointed if you’re looking for comfy, clean and safe! The esthetics were very pleasing as well and simply coordinated. Nothing! It was great for us!

Needing only a room for the night with no need of breakfast, pool etc., I booked this property from the reviews and was a bit skeptical but the location was perfect for my trip between Chicago and Austin with prices less than the well know motel chains. I was pleasantly surprise and delighted staying at the Sleepy Travelrs Motel that had modern furnishings, 50 inch TV, modern bath with large light up mirrors and comfortable bed and pillows. Large fridge and microwave were a nice extras. Water pressure was great. Clean room and bath with nothing broken or worn out. In terms of service, about after an hour after checking out, I received a call from the manager that I had left my phone charger on the room. At that point, it was too far to drive back but the manager agreed to send it to me. I have worked in many upscale hotels and know that service, cleaniness and comfort are the foundation of a great experience. And this simple overnight experience created a returning customer for future travels. Will come back and share with friends. Perfect for a quick overnight stay, not for extra amenities like pool, health facilities, restaurant, var, etc.

Com booked though them. I couldn't understand two different people on the phone. No English!! They would not refund the amount, and put it on my credit card! 100 percent will never book with this booking company!!!

The room was exceptionally clean, it was quiet, the owners were welcoming and kind, and most importantly, I felt extremely safe as a solo female traveler staying here. This is the best place to stay around the surrounding areas and the price is right!

The property is cozy, ideally located and delivers excellent value. I especially like the orientation of the parking spaces, each to a room. It makes packing and unpacking a breeze.

• Elizabeth (10/5): I was just passing through and it felt like I had a mini house I could stay it. Very cute spot!!! - I enjoyed being able to park right outside of my room. I also enjoyed the cleanliness of the facility and how nice/accommodating the staff is. I spoke to one of the managers as I was checking in and she is very kind and I felt safe and comfortable as a solo female traveler. They also allowed me a late checkout! I don't like how the AC has two settings, its either super loud or your room will be silent and super hot. Maybe find a way to have a less noisy AC.

Bugs all over the lighting and windows. Tub stained with residue. Management was beyond rude and very confrontational about my dog. Got in my face and repeatedly called me a liar when there was a clear miscommunication and language barrier. And then told me I have 15 minutes to get all my stuff out of the room and that they would charge me a 200$ fee as well as kicked me out a day early.

• Guide08617197854 (10/5): Super clean and friendly owners! - This was by far the cleanest Motel room we've ever stayed in. My wife carries a cleaning kit and usually wipes down a room and sprays everything with Lysol before she lets me bring in our bags. This was the first time in all our travels she didn't feel the need to do that. Every square inch of the room has been updated. The bed was clean and comfortable. The big TV was nice. We happened to be pulling a boat and the owner set us up with a room where we could back it in right outside our room. The parking spaces are large which was nice. We ended up staying here twice. Once on our way to Texas and then again on our way hone. If we're ever in the area again, this is where we'll stay!

Small coffee machine in room, refrigerator and microwave. Beds are comfy too! Friendly front desk and great customer service. Very well light parking lot and felt very safe. • marcia (8/5): - We love motels for the convenience of backing right up to the door but rarely have found one that has been updated and is clean. This is both! We stayed on the way down to TX and on the way back in two different rooms. Our only complaint was that one of the rooms needed a reno on the door as there was quite a space between the door and the frame which not only let in alot of cold air, but road noise. I think it was room 109. Otherwise no complaints. Staff were very friendly and they've done a great job updating the rooms and ensuring they're clean!
