- Peter (7/5): Very nice hostel, good value (Puerto Natales is also beautiful!). It’s a shame that staff member slightly tainted the ex - The owner and his family were lovely!
The hostel was in a great location, close to a lot of restaurants and shops
Nice kitchen area and cool interior The younger staff member with the beard, said his name was Jonathan, kept pushing us to book the mirador base hike through him. He stated that the tours were all shut and we had to book through him (asking us for passport numbers etc)
We felt a bit put off by this so we went by the tour guide (after having to repeatedly ask the name from Jonathan) who were still open for another hour and more than willing to accommodate us.
Strange guy!

Confortable. Petit mais cosy, plus tranquille
- Alice (9/5): - Great location and very friendly staff. Only negative was my room only had a tiny window facing a wall, so was very dark. But it was very comfortable!

- Marco (1/5): - They cancelled the reservation same day of my arrival
- O.tomcat (9/5): - Staffs are very helpful.
Not far from the downtown. Room was very small for 6 pp, don't have enough spaces to put personal things.

Nada
- Millie (8/5): - Had a homey feeling to it. Was warm and comfortable. The kitchen area was well laid out so multiple people could be in the space, and the back yard was a nice place to sit and enjoy the sun. Was a very small house so meant that the noise travelled from the communal areas. They have quiet time from 10pm though that was not enforced. It is only a problem if your getting up early for a hike.

- LYNDON POOLEY (7/5): - Cosy hostel. Kitchen access and decent location One of the members of staff was a bit dictatorial and hard to relax around
- Clare (10/5): - Hostel for hikers, clean, comfortable with a good kitchen and quiet but good vibes, no problem leaving our bag at whilst we did the o-trek and appreciated that we knew we were coming back to clean cosy hostel with a great shower after the trek :) Nothing had everything we needed
- Fabio (10/5): Excellent hostel - We really enjoyed our stay here. It was cosy, beds were comfortable, super clean and friendly staff. Kitchen was well equipped. We were surprised that they made our beds perfectly everyday which was nice to come back to in the evening and we weren’t expecting that from a hostel. Would recommend.
- Nika (9/5): - The hostel is nice, small and cosy. We could left smaller backpacks for one week while doing the O trek in TDP (free of charge). They were super nice for waiting for us to check in at 10 pm. Beds are too soft.
- Henry (9/5): -
- Kaul (9/5): - I had a great stay here. I arrived quite late but the staff stayed to welcome me. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and the common areas were really nice. The bathrooms were also really clean. I would definitely stay again and really recommend. N/a
- Christopher (9/5): Cool - Le personnel est sympa !
L’emplacement est super !
Super bien équipé !
- Ashleigh (9/5): - Good value for money. Stayed in private room. Good sized room to pack all hiking gear. Kitchen was good. Recommend for staying prior and after W/O trek.
- Charlotte (10/5): -
- Sammy C. (9/5): - The location was not far away from the bus terminal if getting there on foot.
N There was only one dining table for six people in the kitchen. Some people kept sitting there chatting even after their meal was finished.
- Audrey (9/5): Très bien - Emplacement (dans le centre, a 10min du bus)
Stockage gratuit des affaires pendant le trek
Location d’equipment pour le trek
Propre
Calme
Nada a destacar.
- Hannah (8/5): -
- adrien (9/5): Great stay! - Best hostel of our trip. Really cosy atmosphere, staff is very helpful. Showers are cleand and beds are conformable. Highly recommended Nothing
- Steph (9/5): - Had a great stay at puma house. Friendly staff, well equipped kitchen. In a good location for lots of restaurants and cafes, about 10 min walk from the bus station too. Highly recommend.
- Dominique (9/5): - We had a private room for 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The room is a good size and offers a shelf, coat hangers and bedside tables for storage. The bed was very comfortable and the shower hot with good pressure. The shared kitchen was great, very well equipped with everything you need. Free coffee/tea and oats as well. The bicycles we hired were really great too and staff was welcoming and friendly.
Close to town and the bus station. It does get noisy in the mornings with people leaving for early departures but this didn't bother us too much as we are early risers anyway and had a couple of early starts, too.
The kitchen can get a bit crowded at diner time
- Akemi (10/5): Lovely staff, cleanes - Location, staff, cleanes
- Elizabeth Anne (10/5): Helpful staff, great for hikers - Great hostel for hikers! The staff is very helpful and they rent out good equipment for a fair price. You can leave your stuff if you're doing a multiple day trek. Pablo's tips for our W trek made our trek unforgettable.
Please do bear in mind this is a hostel for hikers: quiet hours need to be respected, and a lot of people will get up at 5 in the morning to start their trek. ;)

- Joseph (10/5): - Staff very friendly and helpful. Pleasant, easy place to stay.
- James (10/5): -
- Hamish Allen (10/5): - Would definitely stay there again.
Perfect for people going hiking early the next day.
- Joanna (10/5): - Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, super personel, przyjemna atmosfera, wyjątkowo czysto.
- Joanna (10/5): -
- Julia (10/5): - Great spot, such welcoming and helpful hosts! We would stay again if we return. Also super cosy in the freezing temperatures - Thank you 😊
- Carolina (10/5): Great hostel, with nice chilled vibe - It was clean, it had a nice chilled vibe, the staff were friendly.
- Dylan (7/5): Good location, average value - Great location in middle of town
Let us store our bags for 9 days while we did the O trek Our room opened directly into the kitchen - was very noisy when people stayed up late or got up at 5am for hikes.
Kitchen/seating area is small and always really crowded (and staff always there taking up a lot of space)
Only cooking area is outside
Shared bathroom was not great - shower didn't drain and was not cleaned often
- Alexandra (9/5): Fantastic little base - A small, spotless hostel. The staff are very proud of the place and it is so clean with great kitchen facilities and separate bathrooms. Basically everyone staying here is hiking so people wake up early and they have a strict quiet time.
They also have gear rental which I used on the O Trek and it was high quality. The beds are wood frame and a little squeaky. They also don’t allow any laundry to be hung up - it would be great if they had a line outside / undercover for people to hang out hiking gear!
- Maxime (10/5): Exceptional -
- George (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebekah (9/5): Comfortable, affordable and cosy hostel! - The staff were really friendly and helpful with recommendations for the local area. The beds were super comfy and the hostel was cosy so we had great sleeps here! Great locker space under the beds for storage too. One minor suggestion would be to put a hand dryer in the bathroom - only because it gets so cold and our hands were frozen every time we washed our hands!
- Eva (5/5): Sadly I would not stay again - I should be giving 1 star for this place because of Pablo who is super unfriendly, arrogant and it’s clear he doesn’t like working in tourism. He’s just so uninterested, even when you talk to him it’s painful for him to reply that one word that comes out of his mouth. One would expect coming back from the trek especially when you rent full equipment from there a simple “hey how was it?!” but he doesn’t even bother to say hi back at least. I was explaining to him that the tent and sleeping bag is a bit wet because there was a lot of humidity etc and you can clearly read from his face he doesn’t care about anything but watching his videos on the computer and drinking beer. Never came across such condescending person in a hospitality environment and seems like many people complain about him. Hector was friendly and helpful. The equipment is cheap but not good quality. I was freezing with 2 sleeping bags until -7/-8 in the 3 degrees. The bathrooms are always wet, toilet seats often dirty, they are never checked after the cleaner leaves. One night was boiling in the room then they switched off the heating and the temperature dropped to -2 outside and was freezing inside the room and building. Only stay here if you are happy to sleep only between 11pm and 5am because everyone is packing outside the rooms instead of the reception and it’s impossible to sleep. Sadly there were also a lot of Chinese people here who spit, snore, listen to phones loud, slurp, sniff nose. There was even a 65 year or so old Chinese man in the room and they are well-known about snoring, no need to say that nobody slept all night. I ended up sleeping on the couch at the reception when I returned from my trek when all I wanted is a comfortable sleep in a bed after freezing in the tent for 3. nights. He also started cooking at 4am waking up the whole hostel. Sadly some cultures just destroy the idea and atmosphere of a hostel and should be controlled.
- Snell (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice atmosphere to chill on rest days. We rented a sleeping bag and foam mats for the O-Trek (be warned the sleeping bags don’t compress well but are very warm) - staff were very helpful with any questions. The place is completely cleaned very regularly. The heater made the room a furnace if you didn’t open the window, which feels counter intuitive
- Kz (10/5): unfriendly host - I rate it 10 because I want my NEGATIVE reviews visible. I didn't feel that I was welcome at all. I felt very bad staying over there. the host is unfriendly. if I could, I would avoid this place.
- Kz (1/5): unfriendly host - low price for budget trip I didn't feel that I was welcome at all. I felt very bad staying over there. the host is unfriendly. if I could, I would avoid this place.
- Charlie (7/5): Good -
- Niamh (10/5): Great hostel, very clean and good vibe - The showers were clean and very warm, the rooms were clean and kitchen facilities were great. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice vibe and not far from the centre
- Raffaele (9/5): Good value for money in a cosy wooden hostel - I really liked how the hostel is decorated, especially the welcoming area and rooms.
Very cleaned and welcoming. My bed was making lot of noise, I would also review the room’s temperature. It was very hot even with the window opened
- Johannes (10/5): Good hostel okey gear - Very good hostel with a good vibe and everything you will need. The quality of the rented gear is not great. The mat is thin and almost breaking. The sleeping bag was very thin and worn
- Adam (9/5): Great stay and amazing advice on TDP - We didn't get his name, but the guy on duty late was so incredibly helpful in giving us suggestions and recommendations for how to spend our time at TDP. Thanks to him, we did Base Las Torres on a beautiful day, with an early start to avoid the crowds. We are so grateful for his guidance. On the hostel, it is small, cosy and well located. Bathrooms were clean and there was plenty of hot water. Didn't use the kitchen but it looked well stocked with utensils and crockery. Would be nice to have the possibility to rent a towel. Based on experience in other small dorm rooms, would suggest installing privacy curtains on each bed - low cost, big impact.
- Christian (10/5): Exceptional - Nice little place, lead by the owner. Has all you need. Is clean, friendly, has charme and is close to the center
