• Charles (2/5): Will not stay there again. - The location The place was not clean. They charged a $50.00 nonrefundable pet fee when there was dog shit all around the hotel. and did not disclose that fee at the time of making the reservations.

• Julie (9/5): Clean, comfortable lodge within easy walking distance to a local coffee shop/bakery (for breakfast). - This is such a cute place, with the rooms set up like little lodges. Loved the spacious walk-in tile shower and the comfortable beds. The air conditioning unit cooled the room quickly, and the host provided clear instructions for self-check-in (which I didn't end up using because I arrived while the check in desk was still open, but it was good to know the option was there if I'd needed it). The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were all nice quality, and there were plenty of towels. Everything was great, really.
• Madison (10/5): - Such a cute little hotel, staff was super friendly. We stayed there so we could go to silverwood amusement park so we didn't spend much time in the room. But it was the perfect place to crash at the end of the day. Super close to the theme park, and in the cutest little town!
• Emily (9/5): Best hotel of our trip! - Great! Super spacious and clean, the bed was far more comfy than most hotels. Nice ac, TV, kitchenette, HUGE shower with great water pressure. It was a little loud, the walls are just thin enough that we could hear the neighbors tv for a while. Luckily the ac fan drowned it out.

The Rooms were great and the beds were comfortable. Had a great nights sleep. Staff made it very easy to check in and made sure all 4 rooms were ready when we got there.

• Roxanne (7/5): It's a great place to stay, just needs some added fine cleaning. - The location was minutes away from my son's wedding and within walking distance to eat or get a coffee. We stayed in #10. Everything seemed great upon entering, but once settled in, we noticed it wasn't thoroughly cleaned. When using the bathroom, we found that the edges and corners of the floor had human hair and fuzzy debris upon wiping it with a tissue, the vent in the ceiling was disgustingly dirty, and the lights over the mirror were dirty to where it came off onto your finger when touched. The window sills had black mold and need a good scrubbing with a brush.

• Shelly (2/5): Not new, no problem! Unclean, not recommendable, considering the office remains closed for needed assistance. - It was relatively in the middle of the places I was traveling to. Once checked in on Friday, the office was closed until I/people checked out on Sunday. My room smelled of cigarettes. The toilet seat had the cleaning solution still on it…if only that had been the only issue. Alto the floor appeared clean, my socks and feet were dirty from walking around. Not until the next day after being returning late from a wedding, did I see the hair & grime in the shower and realized my hand and body towels were filthy, on one side…unseen due to being folded to the inside. I was totally creeped & stressed out so much, I couldn’t sleep thinking what all else was dirty and imagining I was sleeping in someone else’s sheets - And, I had a 5.5-6 hour drive the next day. At checkout time next morning, the office still remained closed. Not until after checkout time, did I speak to the gal cleaning my room and shared with her my concerns showed her the dirty shower & towels. At that time, I stated I wanted credit for my stay. Although she felt bad, she said it was a new house keeper in training and there was nothing she could do, and, there was no manager available or on site to assist with my issues. Thankfully, I took a couple pix; but, didn’t think fast enough regarding the toilet seat or my dirty feet. I am disgusted, frustrated and so disappointed with the whole situation of my stay.

We aren't used to the mattresses available so we were pretty sore when we woke up, but they were sturdy and clean!Had to clean the little coffee pot because it wasn't properly cleaned, but other than that, it was great. We should have requested more pillows but that's our fault.

The staff although we never met in person were very helpful and made it super easy to check in without having to be there before the office closed.

The only aspect of our stay that could have been improved would be that the pillows were thinner than I prefer. Overall, it was a great place to stay and for visiting Silverwood the location is excellent.

• Courtney (7/5): In and out service - I enjoyed the ease of booking, as well as the fact that you could check in online since we were arriving after check-in hours. We showed up and the key was already at our door which was nice! The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. It was quiet and we got a great nights sleep. The room was well stocked (coffee supplies and shower supplies) so we were able to relax in the morning. We didn’t see a single staff member our entire stay. We arrived late so our key was already at our door, however in the morning I went to check out and ask some questions and the office door was locked and no one there around 9:30 am. I dropped my key in the drop box outside and away we went. It felt impersonal.

• Madison (9/5): Overall a lovely place to go while visiting my family and childhood home, while we got married. - Our second time staying at Moose in and so far it is our favorite. Very easy check in, and check out is always a breeze by dropping the key for our room into the drop box. We appreciate the real door keys so that we don’t have to worry about some hotel card failing and trying to get with a staff member to replace it. It’s always quiet around the hotel. The staff are always considerate and let us know which cabin has the most road noise, but even being in one next to the road we never heard any disturbing noises. The ONLY thing I want to mention in here, and it’s really not much of a complaint. The walk in showers are fantastic, but the slope to the drain is a bit shallow towards the entrance of the shower. As my husband and I took our showers, we found a good bit of water was trying to escape and flow into the rest of the bathroom area. We tried to adjust where we stood and to point the shower head as deep into the back corner as possible, but it didn’t seem to help. So we rolled up one of the smaller towels, and spreading it across the shower entrance seemed to help a lot. Maybe if the slope to the drain was made a bit more intense? Including some small tile to create a ledge to hold the water in? The fact certainly didn’t make us love the inn any less, we were just worried about any water getting loose and causing damage to the bathroom flooring.

• Christopher (8/5): Peaceful, convenient to Silverwood & Spirit Lake activities - This area is pretty slim on hotels and motels so there isn't a great deal of selection but Moose Inn was a good find. The rooms are one half of a cottage/ cabin and of good size. There is a quasi kitchenette with sink, microwave, fridge and coffeemaker but no cuterly or dishes. The king bed was very comfy, linens were nice. Check in is by key in a lock-box, I did not see any staff besides cleaning crew. Communication with management was easy through their guest portal or texting, response was quick. Note: There is no ice machine but there is a nice grocery store within close walking distance as well as a convenience store, gas and liquor store. Spirit Lake is a small town on Spirit Lake with camping and boating with all the things you need for a summer getaway. A couple of chairs outside the cottage door would have been nice, otherwise, no complaints.

• NorthStar560347 (6/5): - The room was well appointed and the bed was comfortable. Cute little town. BUT even though the room looked clean when we arrived by the time we were getting ready for bed we had to wash our feet because the floor was filthy! Suggest you bring some slippers! Also an item was left in the room - recommend that you close the door when doing your double check as there is a hook behind the door! We reached out to the Inn as soon as we realized it had been left, to date there has been no response; over 10 days later. We will opt to stay elsewhere if we are ever in the area again.
• Elizabeth (8/5): Moose Inn is a great place to stay - It was overall great, always room to improve upon 3 and 4 stars. Having a set of microwaveable dishes in the room would help with eco friendly things. The beds were welcoming and clean. Loved the wooden dowels for hanging things makes it feel like a cabin. Great place. Will be back again.

I wish each cabin had their own pet waste area as the one available was a bit far from our cabin area. The only other thing we were not too exited about was the door between each cabin unit. I felt like it could easily be accessed and it just caused a bit of safety concern. The cabin unit had a nice walk in shower and overall cleanliness exceeded my expectation.

• Abigail (10/5): It was great! - Everyone was kind! The fire pit was great, and the staff were informative. I think there should be bigger beds! The room with the 2 doubles could easily fit 2 queens, or a Queen and a pullout couch.

The door seal from the exterior needs to be replaced as you can see outside when the door is closed. The bed mattress was not comfortable- The springs were completely worn out.
