Guest Reviews
- Jamie (10/5): -
- Stephen (8/5): - We loved the convenience of the location on the trail. Unit needs a little work inside bathroom had paint peeling
- Darice (10/5): It was everything we needed for our visit to killington! - Excellent location. Cost
- Michael (9/5): Great place to stay, best access I’ve ever seen to the trails @ Killington! Worth the money and plan to be back. - Proximity to the trails. Couch has seen it’s better days
- David (10/5): - Clean and beautiful scenery
- Robert (10/5): - Convenient, mid-state location. Set up for large group but worked for the two of us. Everything was fine, but the lighting in the master bedroom was bad as well as the lighting in the living room. Soap for the shower would be a reasonable item to provide as well as a garbage can with a lid on it for the kitchen.
- Francisco (9/5): Very nice clean and comfortable place to stay with the family. - Place was clean and very comfortable beds! The ac in the second room you can’t really feel it.
- Dr. Marcus (8/5): Great place in the woods - The property consists of two houses, each divided into two units. When arriving from East Mountain Road, the house on the left contains Unit A and Unit B, while the house on the right includes Unit C and Unit D. Each unit is essentially like a semi-detached townhouse, meaning you have your own private apartment but still share the building with one neighboring unit. The setup provides a good level of privacy, although you may occasionally notice your neighbors – for example, I could hear a dog from the adjacent unit on some days. Apart from that, the units are fully separated, and you really don’t interact with the other guests if you don't want to.
The house itself is truly beautiful – even more so than I expected. The interior design and decoration are wonderfully done, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. Everything was fully equipped: the kitchen had an oven, stove, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, and coffee maker. There was also a washing machine and dryer located in the guest bathroom on the ground floor. The basic supplies were all provided, including paper towels, dish soap, a sponge, and even dishwasher tabs (although I didn’t use the dishwasher). For laundry, there were also some remaining detergents, perhaps left by previous guests, but in any case, very useful. A small hairdryer was available upstairs as well. In short, the house had everything as described – and more.
Killington itself is a very charming place, and the location of the house is wonderful. I imagine in the winter it could be a bit challenging to drive up, depending on snow conditions, and perhaps not suitable for every type of car. But at the same time, the setting must be even more beautiful in the winter season. I stayed there in the summer, which was already fantastic, but I can only picture how magical it must be in the snow. Overall, at least for the days I stayed, the value for money was unbeatable compared to other options I had seen. The only downsides were minor issues with cleanliness and maintenance. At first glance, everything looked spotless – just like in a hotel, with folded towels and neatly arranged toiletries. However, when I grabbed the first towel, I realized it had likely already been used and simply refolded, which was not very hygienic. What bothered me most was the washing machine: before my return to Europe I wanted to do laundry, but when I opened it, the detergent compartment was full of mold. That really put me off, and I decided not to use it at all.
In addition, some small repairs are overdue, which other reviews also mentioned. For example, one of the mosquito screens in the kitchen was torn, so when you open the window it doesn’t fully keep insects out. It would probably make sense to block a few days for maintenance and have a handyman take care of these small issues, including mold removal.
That said, these were details rather than major problems. Overall, the place was very clean, and despite these small drawbacks, I would happily return.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great value, comfortable space, responsive host!
- Grace (6/5): - We booked a non-smoking room. Showed up and the place ABSOLUTELY reaked of smoke. The smell was caked into everything including bedding. It was like they were smoking 10 packs plus a day and didn’t leave. Lamps and cabinets were broken as well. Cleaners also showed up at 6am blasting music, which was well before the 11am check out of the property. owners of the property did communicate well and that was much appreciated. However after this stay we are still feeling sub par out this place.
- Joseph (8/5): - Great spot! Close to food and entertainment. Great trails immediately outback. Had an issue with the lock and had ZeRo issues getting a hold of the management. They got a locksmith out and had it changed before we returned. Excellent response.
- David (10/5): Don’t sleep on this place - Private and great location. Communication was amazing. For the price it felt like an absolute steal. Will definitely be going back in the winter for a ski trip.
- John (8/5): - Very nice place only negative was the sauna did not work
- Thomas (8/5): Had a great time regardless. - Convenience location and layout. Only issue is that late in the season when lifts close to allow true ski in ski out was a little misleading when still advertised as ski in ski out. Other wise place was fantastic.
- Paul (10/5): - This property was perfectly situated for ski on ski off accessibility. It had plenty of room for four adults. We also enjoyed the Sauna after skiing. The host Ryan was very easy to deal with and the check in/out process was simple and efficient.
- Laurie (9/5): A convenient and comfortable condo. - This condo has a great ski out location. Everything was great really. The only small issue was that there was no set of towels left for the couple on the pull out couch.
- Stephen (6/5): nice place, needs some updating, great location, but overall good. - location, fireplace. could use shovel, and broom, pots and pans need updating, area carpets so meting snow isn't all over floor.
- Anthony (10/5): - very clean and easy to access close to mountain
- Abbas (10/5): - Like property— sad the lift that made it ski and in out was closed due weather conditions
- Ethan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bowdoin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Corrado (10/5): Great Stay - Everything was wonderful. Easy in and out. Near to almost everything. Beautiful area. I left my keys by mistake and they were wonderful in getting them back to me. I would stay there again.
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aripcy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kevin (8/5): Very good -
- Karolína (9/5): Superb - Location is amazing, sufficient equipment for family trip. We really enjoyed the sauna. Bathroom could be cleaner and better maintained.
- David (10/5): - Absolutely perfect! Very nice location. Quiet and cozy little townhome. Short drive to Bear Mountain and Killington Ski Resort. Amazing area with plenty of awesome views.
- Ashley (8/5): Very good - There was a nice amount of beds available. New kitchen appliances, sauna, a spot to put garbage outside, good size accommodations, close to Killington bike park Paint was peeling off ceiling (water damage) in a few spots, the way the paint was slapped on to trim and walls, poor ventilation in bathroom, upstairs (kids) bedroom was excruciatingly hot. The pool was nearly impossible to locate. We wasted a lot of time trying to find it-one of the other resort owners said they'd send directions to the pool, but never did. The sports center closes at 4:30pm so we never got to use it at all. Indoor pool was closed for the season in August.
- Martin (8/5): - Amazing house great price but note that there are only two split units cooling down the house which means one bed room only gets ac if the other bedrooms split unit is on and both doors are open
- Kathia (10/5): - Wonderful❤️❤️
- Martin (8/5): - Amazing house great price but note that there are only two split units cooling down the house which means one bed room only gets ac if the other bedrooms split unit is on and both doors are open
- Marjorie (8/5): Very good - Confortable beds, helpful host Kitcheb is very small for 6
Not so well equiped
- Elizabeth (6/5): - Not the cleanest and had a dirty smell to it- was fine for a couple days and was worth the price.
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional - It was cozy and quiet!
- Timothy (10/5): - Excellent quiet spot on the mountain. Beautiful town home. The house is closer to the trail than any of the lodges (about 20 feet). I was here on an abnormally hot day in the summer so I didn't ski or snowboard, but the AC came in handy and worked very well. Thanks for a great stay!
- Carrie (8/5): Very good -
- John (10/5): - Will be back!!
- Adriana (7/5): Good -
- Jack (10/5): - Very clean, ski trail right out back door (trail wasn’t open during our visit but should be later in the season)
- Kim (10/5): - Private and quiet property located right on the ski trail at Killington. Plenty of space and a nice fireplace in the living room. The owner is responsive and easy to communicate with if there are any questions. Would consider staying here again during ski season for convenience of hopping on the great eastern trail right out your back door.
- Jayendra (8/5): Stayed for two days. ideal location for skiing. - good location for sky slopes and also access to main road. secluded property and away from main shopping area so car required. good facilities in terms of laundry and sauna room. kitchen bit dated and needs more cutlery. more cutlery in the kitchen.
- Lindsay (6/5): - Property needs updating. Holes in walls, clothing in closets, food in cabinets, shower head needs cleaning, hair dryer melted.
- Bruce (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): It was excellent. Really enjoyed our stay. - Affordability. Location was great for us. For us would’ve been nice to have a couple of chairs on the back patio to sit and enjoy a drink after a long hike.
- Doug (8/5): Very good - No bowls in kitchen
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Jenks (9/5): Superb -
- Nicola (10/5): Exceptional -
- DEBORAH (10/5): - Beyond super clean!!! Very quiet and the perfect place to get away. 5 stars!@
- Brad (8/5): Very good -
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Will (10/5): The pictures do not do this place a justice. All around perfect, will come back. - N/a Nothing, it’s a fantastic place
- Michael (10/5): Owner’s responsiveness made up for record-low temps and limited skiing. - This was the record-cold weekend in the Northeast, with more than half the skiable terrain and lifts closed until Sunday (including Skyeship Stage 1, which meant we had to drive to and from the resort Friday and Saturday). That said, Ryan (owner) was 1) accessible, 2) reasonable around our request for a day-before refund (he couldn’t offer a refund (understandable), but offered to re-post the property at a discount to see if we could recover a portion of our money); 3) sympathetic around the resort difficulties (he allowed for a late checkout when on Sunday, when the resort was delayed an hour in opening due to a power outage. Ultimately, we decided to go and make the best of it. Ryan even effectively bought us dinner one night, given the various problems created by the cold. Can’t beat the location. Resort closing the Skyeship stage 1 meant no ski-on, ski-off Friday and Saturday; but that was the weather, not the owner or the place.

- Kevin (10/5): - Beautiful spot, comfy beds, easy check-in and in the perfect location for a Vermont fall trip.
- Dana (9/5): Great stay so close to the mountain - I liked how it was just a door code to get in. Property was super clean and rooms were spacious. The master bedroom bed could be a little bit more comfortable.
- Clyde (10/5): Very Comfortable - Very friendly and responsive owner, and a most comfortable and convenient location. Overall, a winner. Will stay here again.
- Angie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laurie (8/5): - Condo was great. Very clean. Basic kitchen stuff available. King bed very comfortable. Went on some
- Mary (8/5): - Spruce Glen was a great place for a couple's getaway- the house was updated and spacious. It was conveniently located to Killington attractions and nearby Woodstock and Plymouth, but remote in the sense that you are not in the midst of a lot of action.
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robinson (8/5): Very good -
