Lyzette (9/5): Fabulous overnight stay for the tired traveller - It’s a beautiful old manor house steeped in history and filled with an air of sophistication. Really worth a visit and the welcome was wonderful! The road leading to the manor is dark when you arrive at night. Clearer signage with lighting will really go a long way to give a weary traveller a sense of security and direction.
Keith (9/5): Good stopover on a long drive. - Breakfast was excellent. Moonlight Manor is very comfortable and welcoming. Convenient stop off on the route from teh Cape to Botswana and I would use it again. Small thing but the shower controls were a bit fiddly and it took a while for hot water to come through.

Ian (6/5): - Breakfast options were varied. Out of all the B&B inclusive breakfast options, my wife and I both chose the most basic - also the cheapest of the B&B inclusive options. I was somewhat disappointed and taken aback when my wife asked if the two eggs could be replaced with extra bacon and the answer was a very firm no. In retrospect perhaps we both should have ordered the largest most expensive option and then just left what we didn't want on our plates. What a waste of food that would have been!

Joseph (8/5): A comfortable experience. - We did not have breakfast. The unit however was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. Interesting paintings on the walls in the common areas. The charm and character of the Victorian era was well maintained on the property. The layout of the room was a little awkward. (ie. the toilet was visible from the unit's door.) I understand that the plan is to correct this in the new year.

Julia (8/5): Old world charm with great food - The house is charming and the breakfast was great! The beds had a heated blanket to keep off the chill, and the staff were very friendly. There were nice amenities in the room like coffee and tea. We also visited the recommend restaurant run by the same people and it was also good! Victoria West is somewhat surprising in that there are some nice hidden gems off the main road and glad we could experience the town more fully. The shower was cold until after 8pm because the geyser was turned off, but hot in the morning. This was a bit disappointing after a long day on the road. Although it felt safe enough we were a bit worried about our car full of stuff given that the gate is not locked at night. But no problems in the end!

Faans (9/5): Lovely guesthouse with large comfortable rooms and the friendliest service you can find - Stunning guest house with very large and comfortable rooms. Staff are very friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome the moment you arrive. I'd love to stay here again. Only thing to be aware of, is that some rooms have open toilets (only a divider in front of the toilet), so this can be uncomfortable if room is shared.

Theo (9/5): I did not expect to find such comfortable and neat accommodation in the deep platteland ! - Moonlight Manor is a restored residence dating from the late 1800's. It is tastefully restored and turned into a very comfortable guesthouse. The breakfast is highly recommended and tastefully prepared. Accommodation is very comfortable and quiet. The owner is very friendly ( and a great chef!) . They went to great lengths to establish a world class guesthouse. I recommend Moonlight Manor.

Tucked away in a lovely part of Victoria West we were so glad to have discovered this gorgeous Gem of a place. Would definitely recommend staying there and will visit again!
