- Christine (9/5): We enjoyed our stay in Lakes Entrance, and would stay at the same Motel again. - Our room was very clean, bed was very soft and comfortable, parking at the front of the room was spacious; we were very happy with the room. Also, we were only 2 minutes drive from the Bowling Club for our evening meals. We could not fault the accommodation. Although the "Manager" did not live on the Motel premises, he knew we had arrived and followed us in the driveway. He was very informative, very pleasant to speak with, and keen to assist with whatever we needed. He was just a phone call away.

- Nick (5/5): Not so great - Not a lot to be honest No hot water, Monel came out of my account before even the free cancellation period had passed. I called the motel to ask if the 14 travelers could pay individually on arrival, but they said that Booking takes the money not them, which I believe is incorrect, because the other two nights we stayed in other towns using booking.com we paid on arrival. Also @ $215/night for some of the rooms, Management has to be kidding themselves. The motel was nowhere near worth those dollars

- Shirley (6/5): Overall, a mixed stay with a great location and friendly staff, but comfort and facilities need improvement. - The hotel is in a great location by the lake and has a nice, relaxed motel-style feel. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. There are several restaurants within walking distance, including the popular Albert & Co just nearby, which was a great bonus. The mattress was very uncomfortable, especially the single bed. Unfortunately, the washing machine was broken during our stay, so we weren’t able to do any laundry. The staff suggested driving to a nearby laundromat and using coins, which was quite inconvenient.

Reception provided us with a list of main sights to see while in the area which was very helpful and let us plan our sightseeing accordingly. We were warned in advance at check in that a large boat would be parked overnight outside our room, so it would be best if we left our car further away on the grassed area, which we did. Other than that there were no issues.

A must Is the Segway adventures around the awesome entirety of the landscape and 90 mile beach and a walk along the splendid esplanade are truly amazing and also the 40 minute drive to the fairy caves at Buchan is phenomenal No problems

Everything you need in a motel and lovely view over the water. I’m an early riser so I didn’t mind the small amount of morning traffic out front. I discovered there’s car fast charger for my electric vehicle just at the end of the street, but the manager didn’t seem to know this. I left my car there to charge and walked back, then when it was done, I was able to go and pick it up. It’s at the visitor information centre on the corner of Marine Parade.

- Eleanor (7/5): Clean Room, Unexpected Karaoke Night - Location and view from our room. Hot water, good pressure. Very clean. The motel was clean and well located, but the evening entertainment was unexpected. It sounded like the owners and their family were cooking dinner, followed by what turned into a full sing-along session that carried clearly into the rooms until about 10pm. While it had a certain charm, a bit more attention to quiet hours would make it easier for guests to relax.

- margareth432 (8/5): One of the Best - We called in here to find out if they had accommodation. It was one of our best decisions . Ken was absolutely fantastic so friendly so welcoming, and his family were around the grounds which I presume was family. They were very friendly as well. The room itself was so clean had everything we needed and it was right behind the main road of lakes entrance ,next door was the RSL and we walked straight through there out into the main road. It was such a handy location.. The friendliness, the cleanliness, even though it is an older motel it is immaculate. If you were looking for somewhere to stay, the prices are absolutely fantastic.

The staff was helpful as we arrived late to check in. The pillows were too big and painful on the neck, and secondly, there was no closet in the wardrobe.
