The room was furnished quite old fashioned so assume no refurbishing on our particular room has taken place for quite some time. Very clean though and it had everything you needed. Beautiful pool and sea view. Fabulous breakfast.

- Sally (10/5): - Fabulous location if you dont mind a small hill climb at the end of the walk back from the port. We loved the location, very walkable to the port, but far enough away that it was quiet. Staff fabulous - so friendly and helpful. Beautiful pool and dining area. Definitely recommend.

- Laura (10/5): - We had a wonderful week at Evlalia, the pool area and views are stunning. The owner George and his family were wonderful hosts and the rooms were spotless. They have designed wonderful grounds. Loved the bar with swim up counter and beach style entry to pool is great with little ones. It’s easy to get into Skopolos town, about 15-20min walk or 5 euro taxi. We had an entry level priced room which was right next to the pool, making it really easy with the little ones and it was nicer than expected. The higher grade rooms are on the lower level through the gardens and are stunning with the whitewash Greek style. Nice breakfast, peaches, feta, honey, Greek yoghurt, pastries, watermelon, hot counter, bacon, eggs and made-to-order omelette or pancakes. We’ll be back!

- James (10/5): - Fabulous hotel. Gorgeous views and very relaxing. Not too big so felt very comfortable. Shout out to the bartender Antonis who was really lovely. More suited for couples. Just need more sun protection as the macrame umbrellas are pretty but do not offer relief from very strong sun.

- Lorane (10/5): - I mean….wow. The view from the balcony at night and early mornings were beautiful. There are large shutters and doors that swing open to allow for the island breeze to blow in too. The pool and pool bar were lovely. The breakfast selection was delicious. The staff was friendly and more than helpful with helping you get whatever you need. Just don’t be afraid to ask!
- Rikke (10/5): - Det var perfekt til os. En familie med to store teenage drenge. Vi fortrækker rolig omgivelser, og har ikke noget i mod at gå lidt, for at kommer til byen og spisesteder. Der var dog ikke længere, end at vi kunne trække kufferten fra færgen, da vi ankom og da vi skulle retur fik vi et lift til færgen af Evalia værten.
- Ulla (10/5): - Very beautiful place inside and outside. Good breakfast! The breakfast place was at mercy of the weather and there were three mornings when we sat on wet chairs. The safe got stuck because only a few button worked. We got help quickly. And we were without warm water half day. But they repaired it and informed us. Some evening the noice of the bar disturbed us. And one night there was a big party in the pool area with live music. The music was so laud that even we had earplugs and headphones on we could hear the music through!!! We did get e-mail before where the inconvinience was mentioned. But nobody told that party will last six ours! So we lost the next day too because of being too tired! Room was fine, views were excellent from balcony. +++ for the cleaners. Some employees didn't consider the customers. Pool area excellent with really fine sunbeds and beautiful parasols. Walking distance to the town, a bit difficult return trip back due to the uphill.

An 10 minute easy walk to the city centre and each room has amazing views. The pool area is world class. Skopelos is an amazing island with a great authentic vibe, genuine Greek restaurants and great beaches and staying at Evlalia turned a great 4 days into unforgettable!!! Loved it.

- Eleni (10/5): - We absolutely loved staying here! It’s a lovely hotel just on the edge of town, giving you incredible views and a lovely short walk into the centre of town. Our room was beautifully furnished and exceeded expectations. All members of staff and the owner were great at arranging transport, making us feel welcome and making sure we had everything that we needed. An absolute gem of a hotel in Skopelos that provided an amazing stay. We also arrange a boat trip with George literally 24 hours beforehand and we’re so glad we did. He took us down to the port and straight onto his boat, had a few hours at sea for swimming and visiting the Mamma Mia church which was finished off with fruit and wine. Can’t recommend enough! Thank you
- Bryan (8/5): Nice little hotel. - Great little hotel in a good location, within walking distance of town. Our studio had a great view but decor was dated and shower was tiny. Good for self sufficiency adults who eat out. Air on not very powerful. Room very secure. Staff nice but had little need to interact. Nice little pool with bar and snacks, shame is closed at 8pm. Some construction sites nearby (but not active / not noisy).

- Nicola (10/5): Outstanding - Absolutely amazing. Beautiful setting. Pool area best communal pool ever been in. Food in the pool bar is beautiful and plentiful. Better than a lot of restaurants in the town. Staff couldn’t do enough for us. Our brother in law was getting married on the island and staying in a villa with difficult access. The staff here kindly agreed to let the flowers be delivered here along with allowing the groom getting ready in our apartment for some photos from the wedding photographer. The coach to the wedding also collected the wedding party from here as the coach couldn’t get up the hill where they were staying. We felt a little guilty but the staff were fine with it. They even lent us an iron. I cannot rate this place enough. The apartments themselves are stunning and cleaned daily. Location is great a short walk into town. I would stay here again without question. So accommodating I cannot express enough. We needed a kettle immediately brought one. Locked ourselves out of a room. Immediately sorted and managed to forget the safe code again sorted with calm efficiency. We may stay here again but they may not want us to !

Although you have to walk a little bit to the city (roughly 10 minutes) you get to be in a much quieter area with less people driving around with scooters. The Pool is also super nice and the pool bar next to it is super convenient.

Nous étions 4 et avons adoré ce lieu que nous recommandons sans hésiter. La piscine est propre et très bien entretenue. Un séjour que nous n’oublierons pas. Merci !

- Ann (8/5): - The owner and staff were terrific. The view is stunning and the location is 7 min from Skopelos Town by foot. There was an A/C unit in one of the two bedrooms in the Garden Suite. The WIFI works mostly at the pool area. If you need high speed internet, visit the Blue Sea Cafe in town. The property is pristine and the pool area is fantastic. We loved our vacation and want to go back.

- Juliet (10/5): Fantastic views! - Cannot recommend this hotel enough, it was really fantastic! We stayed on the 3rd floor and the suite was amazing! The views are incredible, the room is modern but still has a lovely Greek design. It’s the perfect distance of being out of the centre of town so quieter but only a 5 minute walk to restaurants. Everyone who works there was very helpful and friendly. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

No hay desayuno incluido en el precio, ni posibilidad de desayunar, hasta las 10, en el bar de la piscina, ni en la habitación, ya que no hay cafetera (en la descripción de la habitación pone que si, pero no es cierto), no hay microondas, ni placa de cocina ( también lo pone en la descripción), con lo cual no es posible hacer un desayuno decente. Por otra parte, pedí algo contra los mosquitos y no me dieron ninguna solución. Necesita mejorar mucho los servicios

- Verified traveler (8/5): - Excellent. Great views of Skopelos Town and near some nice restaurants. Muses restaurant was wonderful and Swell was good for snack and coffee. Hotel pool, bbq area and raised terrace beautiful. Reception area with books to borrow and swing seats and hammock also nice touches. Goofy the dog was USP. Found attitude of Barman odd. He initially offered to help with umbrella when we didn’t want it up and said credit card machine not working so needed to use cash. Having returned to room later to get cash and going to bar to order drinks and ask him if he could now help us raise umbrella, he then said we could raise umbrella ourselves as it was very simple. We found this a strange having initially offered to help us. Room was beautiful with comfortable bed, great pillows and tasteful decoration. Shower efficient but tiny and creating a wet room would be a better solution. Having kitchenette was good as we could store breakfast in fridge and eat on the lovely terrace overlooking the great view. Check-in was confusing as the reservation turned out to be under my first name and as I gave my surname when initially asked was told we didn’t have a reservation. Would recommend this hotel overall as a great base for relaxing by pool and exploring this beautiful island. Also very close to start of T1 trail if you like hiking.

- Lori (10/5): Beautiful property with great views. - Beautiful property. Loved the pool area. Walking distance to market, port, restaurants. Enjoyed making our own meals in the efficiency kitchen to enjoy on deck with fantastic view.
- LUIS (8/5): - Was good but you need a Taxi from the port because you can walking to the hotel tel but is difficult with a lot Luggage because the hotel is on the Hill.
