- Adam (4/5): Friendly staff but not an accurate representation of room from the pictures. - The staff were really friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. The location of the property was ideally for me despite all the steps up and down to the property. The roof terrace gave a really good view of Istanbul. The pictures shown are not an accurate representation of the room or hotel and that was a huge disappointment. The room we stayed in stank of cigarette smoke, with stains to the couch, a bathroom with a very loud fan and broken tiles and shower pipe that sprayed out water all over the bathroom. The view outside of the dirty window was another building. The room floor was filthy and my white socks daily was black. The cleanliness was not to my standards.
- Raed (1/5): Painful to stay in such hotel - View only was good. The place was very dirty and window two of them was broken and can’t be closed and no enough curtains. Room smell swears. And upon arrival coffee machine was dirty and full of fungus. Last and most bad thing was hotel has no access from street and to reach out the lobby very long stairs need to be clamped with heavy bags

- Emma (7/5): Would stay again - Friendly staff, got upgraded and the room was nice with a lovely view of the waterfront, ideal location as we were going straight to the dock the following morning The floor in the room just needs some repairs
- Mm (5/5): Passable - the photos do not correspond to reality , unfortunately

- Ibrahimov (1/5): Bad -
- Andrew (6/5): Istanbul - Good location near tram Station.
Great view of the waterway and ship action. I had a bad knee . 120 steps from the street below.
Floor tiles were loose and bits of grout over floor. Quite noisy when people had to slam doors when leaving apartments.
- Lucia (10/5): Fabulous - Very gentle people at desk

- Adnan755 (3/5): Ozgur at reception was great, too many steps to get to hotel, upgrade room has great views. - The Bosphorus view from our location was breathtaking, but accessing it required an upgrade. Fortunately, Ozgur at reception went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. He warmly assisted with my luggage, even navigating 60 flights of stairs during checkout. Ozgur's kindness extended further as he provided invaluable guidance on navigating the city on a public holiday when transportation was scarce. His expert advice ensured I made it to the airport on time, despite the challenges. His suggestion to catch a ferry from Europe to Asia, followed by a taxi from Uskudar to IST, saved me a significant amount of money and ensured I didn't miss my flight. Ozgur's exceptional service deserves 10 stars! Regrettably, the hotel only receives 3 stars due to the lack of clarity on the website regarding additional fees for certain amenities. It's important for future guests to be informed before booking. The number of steps required to reach the location is unreasonable and tiring. There are two pathways leading to the hotel, one from the top and the other from the bottom, both involving an ascent or descent of at least 60 to 300 steps. It's crucial for Etiz to ensure that all customers are informed of this beforehand. It's imperative to consider individuals with disabilities or families with young children who may find this challenge insurmountable.
- Hanna (1/5): We left the hotel after 5 minutes from the check in. - Nothing. It was the worst experience ever. It’s not worth the money at all. You can’t even get to the hotel with car. The rooms are not like the photos you see on Booking, there’s mold on the walls, you can’t open the windows and the smell in the room is the worst thing ever .
- Mohamed (8/5): Great location - Location, room
- Martinez (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rivera (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely small hotel liked it very much
- Mr.b (7/5): Good - Location You can hear neighbors easily.
Too many stairs, it's not direct to the street.
- Shakeeb (9/5): Its not worth to stay for short stay - The location
The cleanliness Accessibility
- Guila (10/5): Exceptional - View cleaning Stairs
- Christina (10/5): Great location - Great location next to the ferry port! There are a lot of stairs to get there though, FYI if you aren't capable of this it would be tough.
- Aoki (10/5): Exceptional -
- Saba (5/5): I don’t suggest it. - Location The rooms was to dirty
During our stay there didn’t do any housekeeping.
And the worst thing was that we booked a room with a view of sea and they gave us a rooms either a view of an uncomplicated building as you may see in the pictures.
I asked them to change the room as the hotel was almost empty but they didn’t accept.
It’s difficult to call it hotel. Seems like a hostel .
The stairs are also too much.. in the night it is also a but scary the location .
- Moore (10/5): Exceptional -
- Raven (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martines (10/5): Nice little boutique hotel - Very helpful staff - awesome view ~
- Uk (7/5): Good -
- World (8/5): Very good - View and location Size of the room and shower so small but on pictures look much bigger
- Esmeralda (6/5): it could be better - the view was amazing and the rooms were nice and big...wifi connection as very very good...it was nice the location and the cleanless
- Mohamed (7/5): Good -
- Wael (1/5): Bad -
- Khaled (7/5): Good -
- Sanchez (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ainsley (10/5): Cozy - It's a small warm hotel and people were very helpful and always eager to help Located on stairs might be an issue for elderly people
- Mohamed (8/5): Mixed impressions with stunning views, great jacuzzi but marred by a broken window and staff - Etiz Hotels Bosphorus provided a genuinely kind and friendly service throughout our stay. The view from the hotel was absolutely breathtaking, offering a mesmerizing sight of the surrounding area. The highlight of our experience was the jacuzzi, which proved to be incredibly amazing. The hot water and soothing water flow provided a truly relaxing and comforting sensation after a long day of exploring the uphill streets of Istanbul. Especially during the winter, the jacuzzi felt cozy and warm, and the illuminated lights inside the tub created a delightful ambiance. We would easily rate this aspect of our stay a perfect 10/10. Our stay at Etiz Hotels Bosphorus was disappointing due to several issues that impacted our experience. The broken window in our jacuzzi room was a major drawback, as it lacked a door handle, preventing us from enjoying the expected beautiful view. Additionally, the jacuzzi bathtub had a hole without a filter, which raised concerns about cleanliness. The tub became dirty after each use, with black particles accumulating. Basic amenities like water bottles and toothbrushes were not provided by room service. The lack of dustbins in the room was inconvenient, and despite requesting an additional one, it was not provided.
Communication and assistance from the hotel staff were also lacking. When we requested water at 10 am, we were informed that the water delivery had already left, leaving us without access to drinking water. This kind of oversight was unexpected and left us without a basic necessity. Moreover, we experienced a troubling incident when we lost our way back to the hotel after dark. We reached out to the receptionist through WhatsApp, sending them a picture of a nearby restaurant and requesting assistance. However, despite our plea for help, the receptionist did not come to our aid. Instead, they simply shared the location with us on WhatsApp, leaving us to navigate back using Google Maps on our own. This lack of responsiveness and assistance was highly disappointing and left us feeling abandoned as guests.
In terms of cleanliness, we found the floor to be consistently dusty throughout our stay. Despite our efforts to bring this to the attention of the room service, they failed to adequately address the issue, leaving us dissatisfied with the overall cleanliness of the room. Moreover, there was a lingering smell of paint due to ongoing renovation work, which further detracted from our comfort and enjoyment during our stay. The bedsheets also fell short of our expectations, as they were not fully clean
- Emil (1/5): Need real refurbishment and better management. - Only view from the windows can be satisfying. Total joke. Pictures displayed in booking.com and reality doesn’t match at all. I booked room with jacuzzi bath(for jacuzzi only) which doesn’t work as it should be. The bath is broken and dirty. There are 3 buttons which I pushed and water shooted itself in the 4 directions flushing everything around including my personal items. Everywhere dust and dirt. If men cannot clean the property in a right way then employ women,it’s simple. Water contain enormous amount of chlorine(in jacuzzi bath and in shower both)it’s so disgusting and making dizzy. When you enter room your nose is slapped with stinky air inside and mustiness. Can’t describe what is this. Very old towels, ideal for cleaning the floors and they’re intended to customers😂 A little fridge completely empty and disconnected out of power. Pictures says something different. Skirting boards and door frames damaged. Luckily I booked this place just for 2 nights and spend there literally 10h out of booked time, finding another place. Leaving place I was talking with host which was informed about my concerns but doesn’t care at all(moreover was surprised, how you don’t like it?) I lost money but I was really happy leaving this place. No one contacted me after,as a tourist living thousands kilometres away of Istanbul for them you are only walking € or $ it seems. I have to admit that I don’t need luxurious hotels but this place is a total misunderstanding and I Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
- Thanaa (8/5): Very good -
- Samuil (7/5): Good -
- Alirzayev (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gonzales (10/5): Exceptional - We liked the view from our room Mr. Onur offered us a free room upgrade which was a very nice gesture. The road to the hotel is paved but stairs there is no way for a car to come in front of the hotel. It was ok for us It might be an issue for elderly people with walking disability

- Lushi (10/5): Amazing view, the staff is very friendly. -
- Wilde (10/5): Nice stay - Very gentle people central location
- Jerome (10/5): The Jacuzzi room exceeded our expectations!!! - Everything was perfect! Very friendly and helpful stuff. Our room with Jacuzzi and Bosphorus view was amazing. You can see Bosphorus bridge, Calmica tower and even the blue mosque & Hagia Sophia (from a distance) all by your window! Night city view from the room was spectacular! Nice bath, comfortable bed. Only issue can be the stairs! For us it was not that big issue but keep in mind it’s a long way to the top until you reach the hotel from the street. Too much stairs!!! I think there is also another way to the hotel from the other side. Just ask the hotel by message or email so they can guide you!
- Oakley (10/5): Splendid -
- Chase (10/5): Exceptional - The view of our room was very nice you can see all the bosphorus from one side to the other. People were very helpful with the question / requests that you may come up with. It would be my next stop for my next Istanbul trip thx everybody

- Greg (10/5): Lovely place, we had the best view of The Bosphorus Strait. Pop the windows open when you get back from gallivanting a - This hotel is in a perfect location. It’s close to a major ferry terminal, a tram terminus is on the main drag, and there is a metro, tram, funicular train close by.
Walk down to the main road, turn left and you’ll find a lovely cafe for breakfast. The stairs. Our airport transfer dropped us close to the main door and reception came out to held us with our bags. Taxis won’t come down the narrow street, so most of the time your walk down the stairs to the main drag. I have health issues and I could do the stairs without too much grief. Reception helped with our bags on the way out too.
Excellent staff.
