Was texted when my room was ready and it was before check in time. The room was nice and good sized. I had a bit of trouble with the pillows. They were all the same size and I wish there was variety so that I could choose the best fit for me.

Sandra Giddens (9/5): Excellent Location and Clean Facilities - Our stay at DSH was great! The room was very clean and we had everything we needed. There is an elevator as well as stairs to the different floors. Check-in ahead of arrival was exceptionally easy and much appreciated! The location is just a block off of the main square, and convenient to anywhere in town. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay here again. Parking was snug, but free public parking was available directly across the street

Jennie (5/5): Cute hotel, but no drinks, snacks or breakfast - The hotel is located very close to the main town square. The room was cute and old fashioned. This is not even a bed and breakfast. Considering the number of stars it has on booking.com, we were disappointed. After 7 p.m until at least 9 a.m (when we left) there is no staff on the premises. There is no possibility to have a drink, snacks or have breakfast in the morning. This could be because we were there off-season, but when booking it was not clear.

We stayed one night during the holidays and loved Dahlonega Square Hotel. Beautiful seasonal decor, a lovely little wine bar/lounge, super comfortable beds, and an unbeatable walkable downtown location—we never moved our car. Bonus: the cutest house cat. Would absolutely stay here again. Our only hiccup, was our digital door lock we had to try a few times to get it to access, but that could have been user error.

Deborah (10/5): This place is so nice and I definitely recommend anyone to book a room with them. - The hotel was about 2 blocks from downtown Dahlonega, so you can walk around and be accessible to several restaurants. If you like Irish foods, there is a restaurant right beside the hotel. There is a German food restaurant and an American Legion within 5 miles from here hotel. The hotel room was very nice and large, so there was plenty of room to move around. The hotel offers wine tasting at a cost, but worth trying before buying a bottle to take with you.

Charles And Ilia (9/5): Absolutely wonderful hotel for the money! - We stayed 2 nights. When we arrived, we were very pleasantly welcomed we ended up just loving the staff. The hotel is spotless, quiet and very nice. The location is perfect to walk to the square and beyond. I recommend walking beyond the square to explore other businesses and beautiful houses and scenery. We really enjoyed our stay!

Noise due to late night music at nearby bar/restaurant (Thursday night). Ear plugs were provided, and was able to sleep with white noise on, but question if I would take that chance again especially on a weekend when restaurant/bar next door advertised having live music.

Judy (4/5): would not stay here again - too cramped for our family - Location was good, except for the cigar shop next door - could not enjoy sitting outside due to the smell. air conditioner did not work well. The unit was much smaller than appeared in the picture online. the bed upstairs in the large loft area was the smallest bed in the entire place - need king size bed up there. TV's would not work. When the murphy bed was pulled down, you could not walk through the living area. Too cramped for family of 5.

JWH1202 (2/5): inhospitable and mean - unhospitable and mean while not staying at the hotel we tried to stop and use their car charger. unfortunately we had got down to 2% battery and we’re about to get stranded I went in to pay them and thank them and was told we weren’t allowed to use it as we aren’t guests. i asked if we could just trouble them for 10 minutes to give us enough power to get to the next closest charger and were told no. They cut the power off to the charger. we are now stranded in dahlonega waiting for tesla to rescue us. this is not the hotels fault but geez would be nice to just be kind to people occasionally. we were happy to pay them too. a shame.
