Loved the gas large fireplace in the living room that we could turn on at our leisure. Delicious homemade granola and honey Greek yogurt for breakfast and a smooth, hot cup of locally brewed coffee along with eggs, bagels and muffins. Our bed was comfortable. Would prefer cotton sheets. We enjoyed the cross breeze with windows open all night long rather than using the air conditioning. Our Innkeeper, was kind, knowledgeable and easy to chat with. So much nicer than a traditional chain hotel. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend. You will not be disappointed. Thank you to the Christy and staff for a comfortable stay.

I’ve always been interested in Victorian homes and the Cedar Crest is a beautiful example of the time period with added modern convenience. Mikaila (9/5): The house is magical and staff is amazing! - We love everything about location and the house. Staff was great! Super friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding areas. Kristy was exceptional. She always went out of her way to speak to us and make us feel comfortable. The only thing that was disappointing was breakfast. For the price I would expect from a bed and breakfast an actual cooked breakfast each morning not a store bought buffet. Last time we visited it was home cooked and much better for the experience.

The room we stayed in, that was my only complaint. Do not get the top floor if you have any knee problems there are quite a bit of stairs to climb.

Smith (8/5): A beautiful property - We loved the historical nostalgia of the property, the value of what we paid, the staff, the comfortable bedding and the breakfast. I would have said there was nothing to report we didn’t like except when we left and we were walking down the front steps with our luggage my husband fell because they were slick form the morning dew. I went back in the house to let the staff know, not to blame but so they could alert the other guests. They immediately pointed me to the sign on the door “caution, steps may be slippery” and then put out a warning cone. If they have a warning sign up for legal reasons, one would assume, it must have happened before and I think they should consider putting rubber mats on the steps to prevent future patrons from falling. Overall great place but beware of the front steps!

Quaint isn't a good enough word to describe how fabulous this place is. The next morning my wife and I had coffee on the wrap around porch then partook of the Continental breakfast - terrific! I'd recommend this place to anyone.

910carih (10/5): Wonderful and historic place to stay! - Cedar Crest was amazing. We booked room #1 and enjoyed our own entrance with parking right outside. We also had a very comfortable bed, couch and two separate bathrooms (1 full and 1 powder room). A wonderful light breakfast was provided every day and we were able to sit outside and enjoy it on the gorgeous wraparound porch. Asheville is still recovering from Helene, but Cedar Crest was perfect. Christie was an excellent host and the owner Kelly was very helpful, as well. We will definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed that for one mid-weeknight, we were the only guests in the main house. it felt like we were the lords of the manor! The room was very comfortable and smelled so clean!! The bed was soft and we slept well. Enjoyed the breakfast, had just enough choice to get a good start to the day, especially as we chose to sit on the charming porch and enjoys the trees. The dining area is open at all times and we enjoyed one lovely pizza dinner on the porch, with a bottle of rose we were able to chill in the small guest fridge available there. Afternoon cookies and coffee are a treat and staff and very nice and helpful. Got some nice dining and activity recommendations. Many thanks!

David (10/5): - The staff was most helpful however we were placed on the third floor which was quite an effort to get the luggage up and down the stairs. I would suggest a personal phone call to the management prior to arriving to notify them of any special needs instead of booking through a third party such as Expedia. The food was excellent and I would highly recommend staying here.

Convenient getting in and out, it was a perfect home base for all the things we did. Breakfast was yummy and we thoroughly enjoyed dining on the porch each morning. The hostesses were friendly and informative, and checking in and out was a breeze! We’d definitely recommend staying here, and would absolutely stay again!

Cedar Crest Inn provides the kind of gracious hospitality we all enjoy -- friendly, accommodating staff; comfortable, lovely rooms; convenient location. Asheville -- less than a year since Hurricane Helene ravaged Western North Carolina -- has much to offer and Cedar Crest is the perfect place to explore and enjoy it all. Our group of friends especially enjoyed breakfast on the wide porch and the extra room to relax in the Carriage House.

The Inn itself was clean and lovely and very close to downtown. I stayed in the Garden Room. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the claw foot tub was a treat! Breakfast was healthy and tasty. I will definitely go back!

O3284YMandream (10/5): Will stay again! Loved the breakfast! - Wow- what a beautiful bed and breakfast! It’s also just a short drive to the Biltmore and shops/restaurants in downtown Asheville! My husband and I visted last week for 2 nights and it was exactly what we wanted. We stayed in the Queen Anne room and had beautiful ornate room, comfy bed, cable tv, and the ornate shower had hot water and we appreciated the travel size soap/shampoo/conditioner. The lobby has fabulous stained glass and stunning woodworking. The continental breakfast was better than your chain hotel breakfast. There was yummy vanilla yogurt with home baked granola (wow!!), fresh fruit, bagels and muffins, hot coffee and juice. We enjoyed our stay so much, we hope to come back when we visit the Biltmore again!

The grandeur of the main house and the quietude of the guest cottages was perfect for us. Our innkeeper, Christy, customized our stay to a “T!” The opulence of the property is something to see - hand carved woodwork, beautiful tile work, white tablecloths — you name it, it’s there! We loved our experience in Asheville and truly savored the Cedar Crest Inn!

Our room - Queen Anne’s room was wonderful. The bed so comfy. The sheets and bedding so soft and top notch. The towels are great as well. All the linens smells so good. Even the little rug in bathroom. The cast iron tub was so big and nice to soak in after a busy day at Biltmore. The breakfast is as very good. Coffee Delicious. Quaint and quiet place. We loved it. We will definitely be back the next time we visit Biltmore.

dclmom34 (10/5): Always wanted to stay here - We used to live in Asheville and have driven by this inn for years. We finally had the opportunity to stay here. We had a wonderful time, the inn is beautiful and the staff are great. Our room was lovely! I wish that the weather had been better, we had high winds and smoke from a forest fire in SC, so sitting outside on the porch wasn’t possible. But the porch is really nice. Breakfast was a continental, but it was good too. We will definitely be back!

The property is close to the Biltmore and downtown Asheville. I loved the pink historic home and all of the rooms in the home! The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The house is kept very clean and the breakfast is fantastic! This is the most beautiful bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in! I wish on booking.com we could select what bedroom we want to stay in. When you book through here you end up being put in a random room- we ended up upgrading to the one we wanted!

Both Sue and Christy were very nice and we had a great time exploring Asheville. The breakfast is also very tasty, the honey vanilla yogurt is delicious. We only stayed a night, but it was a very memorable stay.
