Guest Reviews
- Sara (10/5): - Exactly as described I wasn't disappointed very happy with the room
- Marshel (10/5): - Lovely apartment would highly recommend to a friend.
- HOLLY (6/5): - Can’t tell from the pics but this place is above a restaurant. So it can smell like onions throughout. The floors were not very clean. Pics make it look better than it is. We had to request more towels for our long stay. Kind of cute to have a pedestrian only space right in front of the building. We were pleased with the king bed. Nowhere near enough hangers and they could use some hooks on the wall, (wall hooks seem to not be a thing in the UK). Could be a lot better with some more thoughtful touches - like if ownership spent a couple days there they would immediately see ways to improve. I was also annoyed to learn that laundry machine is in the hall and unsecured. Didn’t feel comfortable doing laundry there and that was a primary reason I booked it. The team was responsive to my requests so that was a good feature.
- Mr M S (8/5): Great location - Only a few minutes' walk from Euston Station, the apartment was the perfect base for our two-day stay in London.
Close by were several bars, restaurants, supermarkets and Warren Street tube station.
- Sohail (10/5): - Excellent place, clean spacious and all facilities. Great location
- James (10/5): - Absloute gem!! Perfect place, apartment super nice and everything you need. Clean and functional
- Verified traveler (8/5): Fitzroy team super helpful, let down by Hotels.com - The Fitzroy team were great, and property a nice place and conveniently located.
We needed to check in early (our fault!) and Grace and the team at Fitzroy went out of their way to help, solved this completely for us, and kept us informed throughout.
Thames Water then let the property down with a major water outage over night: while the Fitzroy team were really helpful there was nothing they could do.
We then contacted the Hotels.com team who were the complete opposite of helpful.
We urgently needed support to find alternative accommodation and the Hotels.com team said they would help us and then ABANDONED us.
Really grateful to the Fitzroy team, and very disappointed and frustrated with the Hotels.com team. Eventually this was put right by an escalation team at Expedia, almost a week later.
Hotels.com you need to do a lot better.
- Margaret (10/5): - Location, location, location - this apartment was centrally located near the Warren St underground station which made it the perfect jumping off point for our stay. It was simply furnished as noted, but really had everything we needed. Immaculately clean
- Syed Badrulhisham (8/5): Good Location - The apartment was very near to the undeground train, bus stop and groceries. Cooking equioment and utensil was provided, made us feel like home. Just probably a signage at the ground floor will help future customer to find this place. Bed was comfy, bathroom was clean. Room and floor heating was very helpful. Perhaps could provide 2 bottle of mineral water daily.
- Huai-Yu (10/5): Centrally Located Apartment - Location was amazing, apartment was clean. Highly recommend
- Lesley (4/5): - Stayed four nights exspecting clean towels every day coffee was milk filled up under floor heating terrible we were cold so very disappointing for the amount of money we paid !!!!!!
- Helal (8/5): Okay stay but needs air con,too warm otherwise!, - Great location and clean apartment. Only let down which was major considering it was 32 degrees (being very warm) was the fact that it had no air conditioning. When asked they said, “we don’t advertise air con”. The windows did not open above 1 inch so there was absolutely no air! We had to buy a fan as the one they provide is useless.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - No A/C
No A/C

Very important so I have to repeat this 3 times, if you decide to stay here during the summer you will most likely become roast meat in an oven. Definitely NOT recommend for summer.
However, if you visit London during fall/winter season, this place could be really nice, it has floor heating.
Location is really good, close to subway and if you take Eurostar from Paris to London St Pancras International you will find this place is really close to train station.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great place to stay. - It was a super place to stay however the traffic noise was very loud.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Boiling hot - No AC, no windows, 32degrees in the room when I arrived around 6pm ish. I went to another hotel in the end so I didn't here overnight.
- Mathew (6/5): - Please consider having a sheet available for the bed in addition to the comforter, the flat gets quite warm and is difficult to sleep with only a comforter available.
- Susan (8/5): Great location, quiet - Great location and very quiet.
Not very spacious but comfortable.
- Mark.A (10/5): - The studio apartment was in an excellent central location next door to a tube station but also an easy 15 min walk to Oxford Street. There was plenty of space compared to a comparably priced hotel room and having the kitchenette was great for breakfast / coffees etc. The bathroom was modern with a great shower and heated floor. There is some street noise - unavoidable being so central - but despite this I slept really well. I would happily stay again and in many ways prefer this to a hotel... a real home from home!
- Todd (8/5): - Great location. Comfortable and clean place. Shower drains very slowly and will flood the room if you take even an average length shower.
- Alan (8/5): Great room let down by entrance corridor - Room was easy to access using remote entry instructions provided, and room was great, v clean and all that was required. Only down-point was the poor condition of the entrance hall, there had obviously been/is a leak and water has turned the walls a nasty brown colour and there is a strong smell of damp in the entrance - although this does not detract from the room itself.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect base to explore London - Ahead of our honeymoon to the carribean we had a short break in London. We could not fault the apartment for our needs for somewhere warm, central and clean. We literally slept there only but we had a great time and highly recommend to others looking for a clean and central place to stay
- R (10/5): Will come back ! - Great location. Fantastic fittings and great bed and shower .
- Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely spacious clean apartment - Lovely spacious clean apartment just a two minute walk from the nearest metro station. A few items were provided like tea bags, shampoo etc. Only downside was the amount of traffic noise you could still hear even with the windows closed
- Sophie (10/5): - We arrived about 20 minutes early and luckily the lovely cleaning lady said we could drop off our bags anyway. The apartments were easy to find and there was a nice little coffee and cake shop next door, #1 in London! The room was spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. We were so impressed with how well both the room and the bathroom had been furnished and they were both very clean. Bed was comfortable and we slept well. Very close to the tube station too. The only thing I would suggest is some milk satchets to go along with the tea bags - we had to search for a while until we found a shop that sold milk. But this is such a small thing so obviously I’d still give this place 5 stars! Lovely apartment and such a good price!
- simon (10/5): - Really easy checkin and great staff
- Ross (10/5): Great and convenient apartment stay - Newly refurbished room in an excellent location that exactly matched the pics and description - good value and quality central London stay
- Samantha (8/5): Convenient, clean location - Comfortable room close to work, above a really tasty restaurant.
The only thing missing is a comfy chair or sofa to relax in rather than sitting on the bed.
The damp/mould in the communal areas was painted over whilst I was there, but unless it's actually treated it will come back.
- Fiona (10/5): - Extremely convenient location , comfortable and very clean apartment with all you need. Nice bars and restaurants on doorstep.
Some noise from busy road but it is central London.
- Lee (10/5): Business Stop-Over - Great apartment and in a fantastic location for transport links in the city.
Really good communications from the owners, in relation to gaining entry to the un-manned apartment.
- Chase (10/5): Sparkling clean room - The apartment was very clean and modern. Lots of amenities like heated floors and a nice shower. There was a lot of floor space too. The stairs to the apartment are a bit cramped, so navigating with big luggage can be tough. There is no elevator.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The apartment was nice and location great however there is a serious mould / mildew problem in the entrance hall and bathroom. I didn't receive an acknowledgement when I provided feedback to the management.
- g brian (8/5): Clean budget apartment - close to underground - Unit is small and clean and only a block from warren street station - which is on northern line to trafager and Victoria line - for gateick express - so 5 minutes by subway to areas tourists go ——
Reasonable priced so a very good alternative to hotels
Cautions are - out unit is on floor 1 so one floor up from ground and no elevator - window is ok Mt 10 feet from sidewalk and above a restaurant so passer by heads are close to your bed and can see you clearly - but if keep blinds down it’s ok - uses a code for the door and a code to get the key - had a fridge and dishes for 2 - is small but clean so everything you need and great water pressure - get an Oyster card and then much cheaper than a hotel downtown - and we actually walked home from trafallger square and oxford circus - in half an hour - but mostly used the underground- loved that it was on the lgood lines so 5 minutes by u dergtound to Victotia station or charring cross without need for transferring stations
- Ghita (6/5): good location - the apartment was ok and the location was good. The check in was a bit laborious and it would have been more helpful if the hotel had emailed me the day before as it was not easily seen that we had to get key instructions
- Helen (10/5): Gorgeous Apartment in the best location - Lovely beautiful Apartment. Newly renovated. The location is absolutely fantastic! Very central and extremely close to a subway. The staircase up to the 3rd floor is a bit wobbly and not having a lift made it a bit difficult getting up with a heavy suitcase. Please note there is no Aircon and it was a little hot at nights. There is a small fan though. The gorgeous very spacious apartment made up for it.
- Nathan (10/5): Spacious room - Upon first arrival i didn’t realise it was above a restaurant but this really does really teach you not to judge a book by it’s cover as the room was very lovley and modern and just what i needed. I absolultely loved the shower but the door did leak out. My only issue was the main door that most of the time wasn’t fully closed. All in all lovely and just right for what i needed.
- Kenneth (8/5): Great location - The apartments are in a good location. Lot of restaurants in the area and close to a train stop. Not too far from Soho and museums so you could walk to a lot of places. The apartments are in good condition. Only issue we had was that the hot water stopped working so we had to take cold showers for a couple days. I called the service line and they had someone fixing it pretty fast but it took two days. They provide soap, shampoo, and towels but they should probably have more available.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Perfect venue for afternoon base in London - Clean, spacious, modern & comfortable. Air con would help as it was very hot even though not very warm outside
Property was great as a base for meetings
- richard (10/5): - Excellent
- mark (10/5): designer stay - Amazing place, and great value. This is such a cool find. Spacious, modern and super clean, with great equipment, and located in a brilliant place. It feels more like a boutique flat than a hotel room. Only downside is the heat in summer - there's no aircon - though admittedly in the UK, heat is not usually a problem!
- Rachael (10/5): 2 night Business trip - Perfect location for work. The apartment was excellent, Clean and comfortable.
- Jamie (8/5): Great location and very clean modern apartment. - Handy location for the underground and local amenities. Very clean, modern and minimalist apartment which was comfortable despite the extremely warm weather in London at the time.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Business stay - An excellent room with everything you could need. It was spacious, modern and the location is fantastic.
- Andrew (10/5): Great apartment & location - The room was a great size (for London) and was immaculately presented. The bed was comfy enough (mattress a bit too firm for my liking, but this is personal taste). I only really used the kitchen for a brew and to keep a couple of drinks chilled in the fridge, but it seemed to have all the basics. The bathroom was also clean & modern with a great shower - lots of hot water.
The TV in the room also included smart features so you can watch iPlayer, etc which was handy, and the WiFi in the room was very solid and I had no issues.
The only minor issue was a little noise from outside as it only has basic sash windows, but overall I'd stay here again
- Thomas (6/5): Good when conditions are right, Not is it's warm - Area: top notch, really liked how easy it was to get around
Check-in: the service said they never got my email address so I had issues upon check in. A quick call resolved everything ASAP but this being international it was a toll call.
The apartment: (the good) clean, nice. pleasant views. (the bad) there was a asian restaurant below and the flat being on the second floor all the heat went straight up. No A/C, opening up the windows did nothing due to the positioning of the building on the street. During the Fall, early spring, winter this should be fine but I do not recommend during the summer or any day above 20C/68F. The flat didn't smell like food from the restauant but as soon as you walk into the halway it is slightly overwelming.
- Thomas (8/5): Fitzroy Serviced Apartments review - These are single one room apartments in a newly renovated three story building. They include a modern efficiency kitchenette (microwave, refrigerator, electric stovetop burners, and simple cooking utensils). The double bed was comfortable, the room very clean with hardwood floor, large closet. The bathroom was small but well designed with excellent tiled shower (good water pressure and hot water). Service designed to be minimal but regular delivery of lots of clean towels. Location in London University neighborhood a plus with lots of places to eat and drink. Good transport connections by bus or tube (closest station is Warren). No reception desk: Entry is by code to building and get room key from lock box. You get instructions by email so if you do not get a response back after booking, get in touch with them directly. Hotels.com sometimes does not forward them your email address and this is vital to get the information you need. The staff in the main office can be contacted by phone and is very helpful. Even number rooms get some street noise from heavily trafficked Euston Road but this dies down later at night and I had no problem sleeping. Very noise sensitive should try to get the odd numbered rooms facing quieter Warren Street. Free Wi-fi is very good. If you are a person content with minimal services while traveling as long as you have what you need then this place is an excellent choice.
- Mick (10/5): Value for money - Short walk to Warren Street Tube, good bistros within 2min walk. Condition of apartment was excellent and great value for money
- Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely room - Ideal studio flat
Great location close to centre and tube station
- Jeremy (8/5): Nice room, good location, check-in needs work - The location and room are excellent and the stay was very good value for money if you prefer to have your own serviced studio room as opposed to a hotel. There are still teething problems with the booking system not informing the operators of the new booking details. The information here is also incorrect at the time of writing this review - the rooms here do not have a front desk, everything is done remotely. In my case I had to go back through the booking site to get the operators to send me the email with the passcode details for accessing the property. Recommended.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent property - Very clean and comfortable. Easy to find. Only down side as a business user was there is no reception to leave bag earlier in the day
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Lovely apartment, our room was a bit noisy due to the main road behind the apartments but otherwise very nice. Would stay again.
- Casey (10/5): Very clean place. Great location! - Complete self service place. They send you instructions on how to check in on your own. Combinations to the locks, etc. Upon entering, you see this very clean and spacious studio apartment. It was immaculately cleaned. Everything looked brand new. Bed was amazingly comfortable. Great area. Food places nearby. Public transportation two blocks away. Ideal!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Fantastic flat but noisy. Information inaccurate. - First off I couldn't get in. They hadn't sent me the email with access codes and was completely unaware it was just a block of apartments with no name as the info had referred to a front desk which didn't exist. So i seriously doubted if I was in the right place. But when I phoned luckily someone was still there as it was before 6. If i had been later I wouldn't have been able to get in presumably as the number given to me was a landline with an answer phone in the evenings. This would have been pretty bad. However the man on the phone was ever so helpful and guided me through accessing the two doors. I guess an apology would have been nice instead of blaming the comparison website. I was at the top up some steep stairs and it was hard for me carrying the luggage up. If i had known there was no front desk and no one to help me I'd have asked for a lower floor room so I suggest some better info on the website. But once in, the flat was incredibly nice. Brand new, very clean, good quality fittings. Great kitchenette, shower, bed. The Euston Road was very close and the sash windows did nothing to keep the noise out. The Road is busy all night. I might have adapted to this but the noise of the other guests when they returned was very loud and disturbing till late so much needed sleep was not forthcoming! If they can't improve this aspect I wouldn't recommend it unless someone was not bothered about this, which is a shame as it was very well priced and superb facilities.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent apartment - Secure building, close to bars and restaurants, clean and well-decorated, comfortable and well-equipped for my stay.
