- Patrick (9/5): Great Location, Clean, comfortable -and a really good breakfast. - Well run, cosy, super location. Very competent staff and management -cannot really be faulted There wasn't anything really, maybe brighten up the rooms and corridors with brighter colours -but I appreciate in an old Georgian building there is only so much you can do.
Parking is not exactly close, and expensive, but that's the reality of Dublin City Centre
- Aonghus (9/5): - Convenience. Bed was very soft.
- Nigel (10/5): -
- DAVE (6/5): - Staff , food and drinks were all vert good. Bit pricey but for the quality of the food and drink I would say its worth it. Location was also very well placed. The rooms wasn't great, grim stains on carpet chairs and backboard of bed. Room was a touch too cold and the bathroom had a strong smell of cigarettes during the night possibly coming from the vent.
- Ivaylo (10/5): -
- Marco (8/5): - Maybe not the best hotel room I have ever seen, but the restaurant and the staff made everything pleasant and amazing. The room: really small, no frames on the walls, plus I asked for the bath instead of the shower and I didn't find it.
- Donnelly (8/5): Great value in central location - Staff were excellent, so helpful and friendly. Location was central. Breakfast included was beautiful. Room was cozy and clean. I thought it was great value for money. No noise issues whatsoever the earplugs given in the room were great. Would definitely recommend and visit again. Not applicable - no issues.

Jammer.
- McKeague (8/5): Super friendly staff - Lovely fire Staff
- mike m (8/5): -
- Pam (5/5): Good location - The location was ideal for what I was needing it for. The staff were so helpful and friendly.
Room was basic but clean and comfortable. The only thing I didnt like was the noise level but the hotel did provide earplugs so kudos on that. Parking was hard to find but a member of staff helped me with that.

- Michael (8/5): -
- Stefan (1/5): - We got room number 15. The moment we got inside, we thought that it was odd to see ear plugs by the bed, but we didn’t think so much of it. At night we found out that ear plugs were not of much use, because the noise level from the party downstairs was unacceptable. Actually, it should be illegal. This was one of the worst nights ever. We left the hotel completely tired and we’ll never come back. Your money will go straight to the toilet staying there.
- Martyna (9/5): -
- thomas (7/5): Great place to stay but the price I paid for room at Christmas was too much - Breakfast was amazing, location great but what I paid was not reflected in the room two pillows, bar was great Bedroom too small two pillows
- Lobo (3/5): -
Hade konstant ont i huvudet.
- Martin (8/5): -
- Lizzie (9/5): Great cosy room and bed. - Room was great, I stayed here on a Sunday and had no issues with noise and had a great nights sleep. The bed was really comfy, although you only get two pillows they're quite big so I didnt have an issue. Can tell they listen to reviews, with shower cap provided if you want to use the rainfall shower even though there was a normal shower head there too. Overall a really pleasant stay and would definitely book the junior suite again. Location is really convenient with bus stops and st stephens greene at your doorstep. Staying here in December was nice, christmas decor and coming in the door felt like meeting the warmth of a fireplace. Nothing. Maybe people would have issue with no real wardrobe but that didnt bother me.
- Sharrod-scott (10/5): Would stay again. Will be booking again for march - Very modern Nothing
- Joe (7/5): -
- Joe (7/5): -
- McCoy (10/5): Solid. Thanks! Will stay again. - The bed, pillows and room space. Breakfast was amazing. This was my second stay and I will be back. Lack of ironboard but I made do just fine. Oh the shower pressure was really bad actually. Once it heated up the pressure disappeared.
- Simon (9/5): -
- Paco (8/5): -
- Alan Roe (9/5): - The nightclub was very noisy but I didn't mind at all. The hotel interior was very nice, as was the lounge and resteraunt.
- Brendan (10/5): Great Value for Money in a beautiful establishment - We had a junior suite which was very spacious. Room was very clean, all facilities worked well. The bar closed a little early which was disappointing as we arrived back from the Concert Hall at 10.30 to find it closed. As we had passed a few places to finish off here, it was disappointing to have to go out again. Breakfast was excellent and the staff on duty were as always, very friendly and professional. We love coming here. As above, early closing off the bar but guess, if things were quiet this happens.
- Marilla (10/5): -
- Maria Del Pilar (9/5): The lance is very didn’t love the room and the tiny shower but the staff was very kind and nice thank you. - Decoration and food amazing the staff was so kind they were amazing with us. The room didn’t have much light and it look a bit dirty
- Sadie (7/5): Good spacious room - Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was at 8 am. So I missed it due to an appointment at 9.
Given a quiet room but the loud music kept going till 11:30.
- Armand (8/5): Top - Authentiek Bergingsruimye

- SEAN (3/5): A chaotic, sleepless night in poorly maintained rooms—definitely not worth the money or the stress before an important w - It has its location benefits Extremely Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Money
I stayed at your property on a Thursday night for a business trip, where a restful night’s sleep was my top priority. Unfortunately, my experience was so poor that I feel compelled to share the details, as it’s clear the owners have never spent a night in these rooms themselves.
1. False Promises and Ignored Requests
From the outset, I explicitely requested a quiet room—both when booking and again upon arrival. This was not a casual preference; it was a necessity for my work commitments the following morning. Yet, I was placed in Room 22, which had a broken window facing a busy main road, making sleep impossible due to traffic noise. When I complained, I was moved to Room 33—only to discover another faulty window, this time facing the bar and garden area.
2. Unacceptable Noise Levels
There was no warning about the late-night bar and DJ, which blared music until 2:30 AM. At 2:00 AM, a loud alarm (similar to a smoke alarm) went off briefly, adding to the chaos. Even after the music stopped, the whistling from the faulty window (thanks to strong winds) ensured I didn’t sleep a wink. The bed was uncomfortably firm, and the phone in the room kept rebooting, its bright screen lighting up the room repeatedly.
3. Basic Maintenance Would Solve These Issues
This isn’t about luxury—it’s about basic functionality. Proper soundproofing, fixing broken windows, and ensuring room phones don’t malfunction are simple, essential fixes. The fact that these issues persist suggests a lack of care for guests’ comfort.
4. No Accountability or Transparency
At check-out, there was no staff present to address my complaints—not that it would have mattered. The problems were so glaring that any apology would ring hollow without tangible changes. While earplugs were provided, they were useless against the relentless noise. There was no warning anywhere that this property is unsuitable for guests who need a peaceful night’s sleep.
- Lily (5/5): Sub-par. - Location and decor for Christmas. Room was freezing, with the old heater taking hours to heat the room.
No answer from front desk when rang at 8pm.
Coffee machine was faulty.
Room was scruffy, paint chipped around doors and walls. Dirt on the bathroom wall. Shower looked grimy with the old stained grout.
Stayed on the 1st floor, the emergency exit on this floor was open to the back entrance the entire time which felt unsafe.
Overall, seemed understaffed on arrival and at breakfast.
- Fergus (10/5): -
- Angela (6/5): Room for improvement. - Your menu was lovely. My room was clean and the bed comfy.
The staff were very nice and apologetic where needed and made amendments.
I ate a starter and breakfast it was very nice.
It was a good location for what I needed. Nice touch with the ear plugs and the water in the room. The stairs leading to my room a bit dated and need refreshing
The room was a little small but good for the cost.
The alarm went off 5 times on my stay.
It made me concern and anxious.
I didn't sleep very well after that.
The coffee machine and phone didn't work in my room I did inform the male receptionist, unfortunately it didn't get sorted.
(9/5): - Location is good 👍 Everything is OK

- Petronela (8/5): -

- Stephen (10/5): Excellent short stay. Couldn’t be faulred - Really nice hotel, staff were lovely, couldnt fault it. Really good Nothing.
- Kinga (9/5): - Was good, clean,I recommend this hotel.Good location.Bar was good, waitress was very kind
- Kieran (5/5): -
- CniG (9/5): - Great Location, friendly staff, good food N/a
- pru (8/5): -
- Heanue (1/5): - I know it's in the disclaimer but I can't in good faith give a good rating for a hotel built on top of a nightclub that plays music loud enough to make the floor shake until 3am
- Mary (9/5): Would stay again - Very convenient location, friendly check in. Comfortable bed. Not noisy although ear plugs were provided.
- Orla (3/5): Ok place - Location They never pick up the phone. Locked outside for 30 minutes because portor forgot to put a sign with separate phone number for nighttime. Super stressful
- Andrew (7/5): -
- Dave (10/5): -
- D'Amico (7/5): - Great location, loved the restaurant/bar underneath. The WiFi was really poor and didn’t reach to my room and I had work to do!
- Stanislav (3/5): - * Great location, everything is nearby, and the airport bus stops just about 100 meters from the hotel.
* The rooms are clean.
* There’s a good restaurant downstairs (but I’m here to review the hotel, not the restaurant).
Boom boom boom, that’s it all We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The price was $160 per night.
Now the bad — or maybe even terrible for $160:
* There is a bar/restaurant downstairs with loud music, and you can hear the bass even on the 3rd floor. For us it was tolerable, but if you’re staying on lower floors or if peace and quiet are important to you — this place is not for you.
* The heating in the room did not work. I mentioned this to the staff a couple of times, they checked it, saw that it doesn’t work — and that was the end of the story. It was around 5–7°C outside at night and in the morning, not much warmer during the day either, so imagine how uncomfortable it is to stay in such cold conditions. And this costs $160 — usually discomfort comes for free, but not here.
* There is no proper lighting in the room, just a few weak night lamps. It’s quite dark if you need to work on a laptop or have poor eyesight, or even if you just want to read a book. And this is $160!
* The water pressure is terribly weak. Normally it wouldn’t be a big issue, but since the room was freezing, taking a shower became a real challenge — you’re literally shaking from the cold every time. And this is $160!
Ps:
We’ll see how the hotel handles communication with its guests — we did expect at least some kind of compensation for the discomfort we paid for.
- Jeanne Peixian (1/5): Half-eaten cookies in a sealed bag. - If you enjoy the thrill of a mystery film, perhaps this hotel will suit you.
As a journalist who travels frequently, I had never encountered something so quietly disturbing and so helplessly absurd.
During my stay, I discovered that a sealed package of cookies I brought was half eaten, the torn side neatly placed back on the desk, as if nothing happened.
The hotel "found no evidence" after its "internal review".
A month later, still no genuine apology, no accountability, only polite denial.
It’s "just cookies," might say, but it’s also something you put in your mouth, something you share with family.
If even that can be tampered with, what’s next?
My rating is limited only because the system doesn’t allow zero or negative stars.
A small cookies thing, yes, but it speaks loudly about safety and integrity. ATTENTION !

- JulianGibas (8/5): Location and q delightful quirky charm. - Great location for the price and the place had a nice quirky charm, with lovely bar, restaurant and beautiful indoor/outdoor garden area. Great staff - friendly and helpful. You need to know that the disco (I think they call them night clubs these days!) goes on until 2am and can be heard though not too loud, as I fell asleep to the sounds of Get Lucky!!
- Cindy (8/5): -
- Paul (7/5): - Bed was very comfortable Club in basement in Wed night was loud
- Stefan (10/5): -
- Petr (10/5): - Excellent music bar inside, beer immediatelly on the table. So big Irish breakfast you will not be able to eat all! Bit old building, lot of carpers and dust....
- Josephine (9/5): - Really lovely hotel i would definitely return. Nothing
- Aya&co (5/5): Noisy at night! - small room with two separate beds as requested. private bathrooms and many amenities, even bodylotion and coditioner which are mostly not provided. also water and tea and coffee. after booking we got the notice that the hotel is above a bar and there is much noise at night but we had bood a not refundable room! how can it have good ratings with so much noise? when We hoped it would be okay as we were staying on a mondaynight, but we saw the free provided airplugs, we understood that we might need them. And indeed from 23/24:00 on untill about 3:30 it was load outside. My partner used the plugs and said it really helped and he didn't hear the noise. But i don't like something in my ear so just slept and woke up a few times because of the noise. I was too tired to look for the plugs but did have a disrupted sleep because of it.
- Colette (10/5): - The very comfortable bed and bedroom, nice toiletries and refreshments.
All of the staff are superb, really on hand for assistance with anything, and very friendly and welcoming.
Breakfast was delicious with really good quality ingredients.
A hotel to remember for future trips.
- Tadhg (10/5): - The room allocated was exceptional.
- Renata (10/5): -
- Maria (4/5): - Location Room was not great. Bathroom very very small and smelt of sewage. Will not be in a rush back, unfortunately 😕
- Skye (10/5): It was a fun experience, loved the earplugs next to the bed but they were not needed. The staff were very friendly and h - It was walking distance to everything. fun quirky decor. There were unfinished renovations in the bathroom, plaster not painted. just looked a bit untidy.
- Petra (10/5): -
