• siobhan (10/5): This was one of the nicest accommodations that we have stayed in and we have been to many and the hosts were the friendl - Everything, it was an amazing home in a beautiful location. The hosts went out of their way to ensure that we had a memorable experience. They drove us around the area in their classic car, which was an experience in itself and they took their time to drive us to locations in the area. They also ensured that we had everything we need to make our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. There is nothing that we would change about the property.
• Joseph (10/5): Wonderful...a rare gem...would 100% stay there again - The property was wonderful, quiet, beautiful "country" setting. The hosts, Deb and Don, were wonderful as well. We had SUCH a nice time!! Water pressure was great, total privacy, the beds were comfy, it was quiet and dark in the rooms, which made for comfortable sleep. The lighting was a bit bright in the rooms. I suggest considering dimmer switches for the wall switches. This would help soften the brightness level. We tried to use the lamps rather than the recessed lighting operated by the wall switches.

• Heather (10/5): The Perfect Place to Stay - It was so peaceful and serene - waking up to birds singing every morning made for a restful experience. The surrounding views and landscape are beautiful! And the hosts are the sweetest, most wonderful people! We loved our stay here! The wifi would occasionally disconnect, or had trouble connecting, if we were in the living room/dining room area, but worked well in the bedrooms.

• Siyun (10/5): - Everything. The place was sparkly clean and well-presented. Don and Debby made our stay even more lovely. It has a beautiful view and seems isolated, but everything you need is within a 10-minute drive. We loved every part of our stay! Nothing really. One of the beds was softer than the other, so we had to move rooms after one night of sleep, as my husband gets back pain on the softer bed.

The house is clean and spacious with comfortable rooms and is thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need. • Erika (10/5): One of the most comfortable and enjoyable stays we have had on our travels and could never tire of the fabulous views. - The location of the property is great as with easy access to roads and motorway within the Auckland region, but quiet and pretty drive up to property and then afforded beautiful vistas all round of Okura River and reserve from a huge well maintained and stocked garden. Even had use of canoes onto the river from the bottom of the garden. The house itself felt like home from home, with all the comforts and amenities required. Great bathroom areas and extremely comfortable bed. Deb & Don are lovely hosts and attentive to meet your needs. Nothing

Everything about this property is 10/10: location, facilities, condition and very friendly hosts. We have booked last minute and were lucky that property was vacant for the duration of our intended stay and that hosts kindly welcomed us in such short notice. Property has everything you need to feel like home. Two beautiful bedrooms with ensuites, comfortable beds and showers with good pressure. Kitchen is super equipped so you can cook your meals, bbq also provided. We have also enjoyed relaxing on the couches watching TV after dinner. Outdoor area is well organised with furniture allowing you to relax and just unwind listening to wind and birds. Greenest grass and river view. Even drive to the house is very beautiful! We absolutely enjoyed staying and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic stay in the close proximity to Auckland and beautiful beaches. • Penelope (10/5): Loved waking up in the country then catching up with family just a short drive away in the city - Overall vibe of a country estate set in the middle of a nature reserve. Wonderful views across the valley. Amazing sights and sounds of bird life. Our accommodation was top class with everything provided for a relaxed stay. Our hosts went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. Road access is down a country lane that’s seen better days.
